Historic Victorian home - walk downtown, office, dog-friendly, & washer/dryer
Parker House is a classic New England Victorian just steps from downtown Camden. Part of the Camden Historic District, the original details have been preserved while updated for modern living. This wonderful vacation rental home is perfect for families and a short walk from downtown Camden’s restaurants, shops, public library, harbor, and schooner excursions.
Enter from the side porch directly into the centrally located, sunny kitchen with a fairly open floor plan and dining area for smaller gatherings. Directly off the kitchen is a dining room with a new larger dining table that has seating for 10. A study and a comfortable living room with a TV are off the dining room. The stairs to the second floor are in the hallway off the living room. The upstairs full bath has an antique clawfoot tub with a mounted shower head and curtain, which taller guests may find short. In the summer months, there are window air conditioning units installed in the downstairs study and three of the bedrooms. Several fans have also been provided.
The entry-level has a spacious primary bedroom at the back of the house. Just down the hall is a large, updated bathroom with a modern roll-in shower and accessible sink, along with a new washer and dryer.
This is a seven-night minimum stay rental.
