The Wallowa Lake Tramway, Matterhorn Village, and Wallowa Lake State Park (home to a beach, picnic areas, great fishing spots, and a seasonal marina with watercraft rentals) are all within a half-mile stroll. The picturesque town of Joseph is an easy, six-mile drive across the lake as well.
Whether your plans involve hiking the Eagle Cap Wilderness or fishing for trout and Kokanee, the back patio provides a wonderful spot to reconvene after a day of adventure.
