This two-story boasts both scenery and convenience, beautifully situated on the western bank of the river and the resort side of Wallowa Lake. The Wallowa Lake Tramway, Matterhorn Village, and Wallowa Lake State Park (home to a beach, picnic areas, great fishing spots, and a seasonal marina with watercraft rentals) are all within a half-mile stroll. The picturesque town of Joseph is an easy, six-mile drive across the lake as well.

Whether your plans involve hiking the Eagle Cap Wilderness or fishing for trout and Kokanee, the back patio provides a wonderful spot to reconvene after a day of adventure. Get the gas grill going for an afternoon barbecue, set the picnic table for dinner, and sit down at sunset with the river trickling in the background.

The interior is equally inviting after a day spent skiing Ferguson Ridge, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or snowmobiling at Salt Creek Summit Sno-Park. Within the house's open layout, you'll find the kitchen with its stainless steel kitchen appliances, a sizable dining room table, board games and puzzles for everyone to try, and a gas fireplace to add a cozy ambience in the living room. Lounge there and stream your favorite shows and movies on its smart TV. When it's time to settle down for the evening, take refuge in one of the bedrooms, all of which offer forest views.

A private washer/dryer and complimentary WiFi provide additional convenience, and while there is no parking in the garage, it serves as the perfect place to store wet clothes and gear.

• Seasonal BBQs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
