Can’t beat the view! Beachfront with no houses blocking front or side views. From the master bedroom, I didn’t even have to get out of bed to watch the sunrise! The sunset was visible standing just inside but we always stepped out onto great deck to enjoy God’s faithful display!
There were several fixes needed that took us a couple of days to find local Vacasa but once they came, they were very diligent to meet our requests for bath mats, working can opener, trash can in a bathroom, fix slow tub drain, tighten towel rack to stay on wall, replace burned out light bulbs, and fix panel on oven door so it wouldn’t fall open. I also needed lesson in specific technique to make lock pad work for me. Calling main Vacasa number is not helpful but once you get local help, you’re in business again! Many nice features including beach decor, comfy beds, choice of walk-in shower or tub combo, not a single pest or critter all week, and good hvac that kept us comfortable in January weather.
The snow was too thick to use either parking spot under house. Our car stuck in the sand, but our neighbors got us out after seeing us wait 3 hours for help that never came. We parked in front the rest of our stay.
I highly recommend License to Chill for its superb beach front location and expansive, see-it-all view of the Gulf of America. Just make your own inspection of what didn’t get supplied or fixed, call Jen to come take care of it, then enjoy an amazing stay in this lovely beach home on delightful Dauphin Island.
