We were stunned at how big this place really is. There is so much room and plenty to do for everyone. Clean, comfortable, and not far from downtown Blue Ridge at all. Just keep in mind it is on the top of a very steep mountain so have a big car or 4 WD to get up. Beautiful view!!!

We loved our stay here! The apartment and the view was especially incredible. Being able to open the window and breathe in the mountain air at night is our favorite part. The tv’s are large, which is nice as we get older and use closed captioning. Looking forward to returning and enjoying the peacefulness of the mountains again!

Cabin

We chose Bougie Bear because it was a great combination of the views, space, and amenities we were looking for. It not only lived up to our expectations but exceeded them! It also had some things we didn’t even know we should look for but loved, like the game table with plenty of comfy chairs for everyone and the unique ramp/fenced play area and gates on the porches for dogs! It has a perfect “cabin” atmosphere, the kitchen is well-stocked, beds and linens are comfortable, and the swings and rockers on the deck are great for enjoying the view, among many other positives. There was a mixup with scheduling of maintenance/sealing of the recently paved driveway while we were there but we were very impressed with the handling of it and accommodations made by Vacasa staff and the owner, so we all came to a solution that worked out great for everyone—it turned what could have been a negative into a positive! We would definitely rent Bougie Bear cabin again!
