The house is awesome for sure. It’s beautiful, nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, the location was great for strolling down to the beach and it has an amazing view. It’s just a hair off of being the perfect weekend getaway…but…check out time is 10am- which is a huge bummer when you want to have a leisurely breakfast and coffee and soak up the last moments at the house. 10am? It’s a pricey house and should have an 11am (or later) check out time. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time and would surely come back.

The water front was amazing to look at and love the waves crashing at night. I loved the view to the water. The house was very clean and organized the couch was a little outdated but ok to sit on. I really want to take my elderly mom there she loves to be right on the ocean but not sure how she can get up and down all the stairs wish there was an option for someone disabled other than that it was very well equipped with cooking items since there was no built in stove the little electrical stove was great. Overall the stay was amazing and I will definitely be going back and staying

We have rented several houses in BB over 15 years and never have we come across a property like this. Huge front and back yard. It was so nice to go explore the trails or beaches during the day and not be stuck in a small space levelled house with a small deck as a back yard. We were able to play games and fly kites in the front yard. The house is set far away from the road and situated so it felt like there were zero neighbors. The view of the rolling hills made it feel like we are on a huge ranch and not in a neighborhood and the back yard is landscaped in a way that we forgot we were right on the course and had total privacy for the hottub times. The house was beautiful, decorated perfectly, open and sunny and very very clean. Cozying up on the large couch with a fire and watching movies on the big projector was the perfect ending to everyday. The kitchen had everything we needed, to cook some great meals. Also we have stayed in places where the fog horn is too loud for the little ones to fall asleep. Here was the perfect balance. Had to try and listen for it but once we heard it, it was so relaxing. Being able to walk the "loop" the neighborhood provides was so nice too. My wife is definitely having her next girls trip here and I already have a guys trip planned that will sure be filled with golf, lawn games, cigars and grilling. Our kids cant wait to come back with their cousins. This is easily going to be the place we rent from now on. I cant say enough about the place and since it is new on the rental market I believe its just going to get better and better.

For less spine-tingling entertainment, right on Highway 1 in the heart of town sit a variety of quaint shops selling local wines, art, antiques, gifts, and other goodies.

After admiring the coast, it's worth venturing inland to some of Sonoma County's small towns. A scenic drive on the exotically named Bohemian Highway takes you 20 minutes away to Occidental, which offers cute cafes luxurious day spas. Go antiquing at the adorable Duncan Mills on California 116. It might be hard to resist wine country, but you don't have to venture too far east to find visit-worthy wineries.
