Location was perfect
adam s. | Jun 2024
The location was very convenient to the streetcars. A bit loud with traffic at times. We did feel safe with the locked gate around the property. Some might find it a bit “sketchy”. Not to be frightened, just pay attention. Very spacious home with wonderful moments of history retained. If only the maintenance of the home was kept up. Kitchen faucet, doors close properly, ice maker, stairway rails, front rockers, tar paper on MB balcony, small yet so important to a home of such history, and worth to those who treasure the relics of the past. Would I stay again…yes, with hopes these details have been addressed. PS, the back renters need to keep their patio clean.

Loved location walking distance to a lot of nice places. It’s located on the street car route. This home is really comfortable and cozy.

New Orleans neighborhoods and history

To figure out New Orleans, you need an understanding of the city’s various neighborhoods. Perhaps most famous is the French Quarter, the part of town where visitors and locals alike come to see live jazz, feast on Cajun food, and admire historic architecture. The world-renowned Bourbon Street can be found here---a bucket-list destination for partying and people-watching.
