The cottage was immaculate with everything we needed for cooking. Beds and linens very comfortable. A cute place. However, know that there are many many stairs and steps and no railing for some stairs- very difficult for elderly or young. Know also that the lake is drained til 2026 so no water around the cottage even for a nice view.

I just did in comments!! Loved it and all phone contacts were very helpful!! The area is so beautiful!!! Yu were so lucky with the Hurricane in that particular area. We saw the Flower Bridge!! A sad loss!! And we drove to Chimney Rock!! Heartbreaking!! Work on abd on and on!! Yur love of the area will keep yu going

This cottage has been beautifully remodeled and is in such a peaceful, serene area. There are many outdoor areas to relax with plentiful seating, especially the deck above the boathouse with amazing views. It should be noted that you park your car in the road and need to carry luggage and groceries down steps to access the house. Everything was very clean! Customer service was outstanding when I had questions and would reply within minutes to texts.

This home was clean and suited our large family well! The upstairs has the master bedroom and the rest of the bedrooms are down stairs. My kids loved having their own hang out area. The stairs are a bit steep, so important to note if you have smaller children who cannot navigate stairs well. I loved cooking in the kitchen. It was very nice and there were plenty of places for entertaining and enjoying meals. The view from the living room is beyond incredible and is a giant picture window to God’s magnificent creation. I didn’t want to leave, so I extended my stay! I would definitely love to come back again! (Side note: if you need everything to be perfect, there might be little cosmetic things about this home you wouldn’t like. But, none of these things affected our stay in the least! A home is a constant project to maintain and upkeep. Not to mention the number of people who probably come in and out of this home!)
