Laundry, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, pool, waterfront, kitchen....$650 for 3 nights....you won't get that at any hotel so we have no legitimate complaints. But for the sake of setting expectations, below is some good things to know. This served as a great home base for nearby activities. The showers were nice. The kitchen was great for making pizzas but could use more kitchen ware for more intricate meals. We used the pool as more of a place to cool off after a long day of being outside than something to swim in per say. It was pretty small and relatively chilly (it's unheated and has No hot tub). The patio and its furniture was great for hanging out on however. They probably won't put the money into getting rid of the sand burs, but they should put some more tiles outside to walk on. Don't let your kids walk on the grass. The no see-ums kept us inside after sunset, which was probably our biggest complaint, because the "patio" was extrnemly enjoyable to hang out on, as it had great furniture. We enjoyed the canal and put our kayaks in off the dock. We caught jack and snook right off the dock. The third bedroom is probably best for 2 tiny kids at best, maybe your son or daughter that isn't too picky, but definitely not 2 grown adults.....that is probably why the listing says occupation cycle 6 (4 adults). Overall it was great for us and I would go here again.
