This home is a balm for the tired and/or the uninspired as it will wrap itself around you and give you the rest and the inspiration you deserve. Big sweeping windows face gorgeous waves, cotton candy clouds, and a spotlight of rainbows or sun breaks; whether you are like a little gecko sunbathing on a rock on the porch chairs or feeling like sipping a cozy mug of warm hot cocoa, as it rains and you sink deep into the gentle curves of the couch and blanket throws, this warm little beach home will hold you in comfort and make you crave contentment and rest while inspiring you to find the whimsy in nature right at your front window (we saw deer frolicking in the dunes in front of the house during breakfast. It was fantastic!). Downstairs can be a separate living space, and potentially accessible for wheelchair access (upstairs is connected to the staircase however, where main kitchen is). An oasis of solitude with washer, bathroom, bunk beds, tv, table and couch --wander into the backyard with the side door, or lounge around with garage door open, as you watch tv or hang on the couch in the huge mixed activity space. Clean: If you have dust allergies like me, this place is for you. Not a mite or a dust bunny to be found. No trace of messes or even sand (and having even small glimmers of sand would've initially been expected and totally fine, as they are very close to the beach, making this level of cleanliness even more impressive). Amenities: - Neighborhood was quiet--only heard the sound of the waves at night. Even when dogs pass to walkby, the windows seemed to do a good job insulating the house enough that very little noise was heard outdoors from the inside. -Electric sockets were available in every area of frequent usage (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom) -Bathroom is available for every room and very clean; water temperature was just fine with no freezing or scalding; they even have a squatty potty in the cabinet! -Kitchen was pristine, there were plates, utensils and cups; the hosts were even thoughtful to have a dog bowl for food/water and children-sized utensils, cups, food trays available. The air fryer, stove, fridge, and coffee machine are all modern and efficient. -Living room is very cozy and "game night" approved with a couch allowing you to face each other, a long table for meals and games, a fire place and huge tv (+ the blankets were so cozy, we went into town to buy the exact same kinds only to find out they've been sold out from both the town AND Costco!! One of a kind softness that keeps you warm but also has breathability, combining the most perfect of combos? What is this magic? -Reliable and sturdy furniture of different widths (my family consists of a 5'11 + 6'3 broad build and we felt held and secure in all chairs), and the softest yet firmest bed to sleep on with gorgeous pillows and a bay window for both upstairs views. No regrets staying here and will be back again soon!

Large and cozy apartment. We stayed in February and there is a huge hot tub. The beach is one minute walk away. Perfect for families with children.

The view was wonderful and the furniture was comfortable, except for the bed. The location was great - just a few minutes to town and it was right next door to a State Park with a paved walk above the dunes.

Just because you won’t be laying out in the sun doesn’t mean there’s a lack of beach activities. Ascend the spiral stairs of Gray’s Harbor Lighthouse—the tallest in Washington—to watch the waves crashing on the shoreline. If you’re in Westport on strictly-seafood business, be sure to stop at one of the eateries along Westhaven Drive for grilled tuna steaks or hearty fish and chips.
