Where is Playacar?

Playacar holds its own amidst the state of Quintana Roo's world-famous vacation destinations. Two areas compose Playacar: Phase One, a mostly residential section; and Phase Two, home to several resorts, a golf course, and other tourist attractions. Bustling Playa Del Carmen's beaches and nightlife are just north up the coast.

Things to Do in Playacar

This area's jungle landscape enchants visitors with its lush greenery and vibrant beaches. Don't miss the chance to witness a cenote and underground river on a tour with Aventuras Mayas, a local adventure company. You can also swim with dolphins, snorkel, zipline, and more.
