Albert P. decided to take his neighbor’s advice.

“The house sits idle if we're not there, and there have been a couple of months where we're not even able to go down for a weekend,” he says. “I thought: ‘Why not let somebody else enjoy it when we can’t?’”

“When we stay, our home is always exceptionally clean. Your housekeepers do an excellent job—we're very pleased with the way our rental has been maintained,” he tells us. “And whenever there have been issues that need to be addressed, my local manager is on it.”
Albert loves that Vacasa is his advocate on-the-ground in Rockport, especially because he’s a three-hour drive from his home. That local presence helps make headaches—like finding a good contractor—a non-issue.
“I told my property manager that I needed help with the yard. He could have said, ‘All right, good luck with it,’ but instead he said, ‘Let me make some calls.’ He narrowed it down to one or two vendors, and actually went to the house to meet the potential gardeners and negotiate a cost.”
“There hasn't been anything that's come up where he's come back to say, ‘Sorry, that's outside of my responsibilities,’ or, "I don't do that,’" Albert continues. “He always steps up to help in any way that he can. Vacasa’s team not only has a can-do attitude: It’s will-do.”
That attention to service hasn’t been lost on Albert’s guests, either.
“My wife was reading some of the reviews from people who stayed there, and everything has been positive. People love it,” he says.
Albert has been so content with the way things have been going with us, that he’s following his neighbor’s playbook and paying it forward.
“We've recommended Vacasa to several people already. We've told them that you guys do 99.99% of all the effort needed. We don't see any reason to try somebody else. As long as we own the house, we plan to use Vacasa,” he tells us.
“In fact, one time a friend called me, and we talked about your services and my experience quite a bit,” Albert continues. “I told him our success rate with Vacasa has been excellent. At this point, I don't need to learn about any other manager.”
“If it ain’t broke, don't fix it. It really seems to be working for us.”
