Elegant oceanfront apartment w/ easy beach access - great romantic getaway!

Peace and solitude await you at this upscale vacation rental located on the lowest level of a large oceanfront home. A quick walk down a private path is all that separates you and your loved ones from the beach. When you aren't strolling along the sand, you'll enjoy home comforts such as a shared washer/dryer and free WiFi, all in an elegantly remodeled package. The interior of this basement-level vacation rental is chic and tasteful, with upscale furniture and a warm neutral color palette. Put your feet up and relax in the spacious living area, which features cozy couches and a flatscreen TV with a DVD player. Free WiFi is provided, though please note it can be a little spotty here in the forest. In the kitchenette, you'll find a microwave, a mini-fridge, a toaster oven, a blender, a coffee maker, and a waffle iron, so it's easy to put together quick meals between adventures!

What's nearby:
The nearest town, Yachats, is seven miles north, and the city of Florence is 18 miles to the south, so consider stocking up on groceries prior to your arrival. The ocean is just steps away from your front door, making this location perfect for vacationers who want to spend a lot of time combing the beach for unburied treasure or picnicking on the sand. Please note the path to this stretch of beach is steep, so vacationers who want an easier way to the sand might prefer to drive just down the road to the Tenmile Creek access point. Heceta Head Lighthouse is a little less than seven miles south, and there are dozens of areas nearby for hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. This home sits on a large property with a few other rentable homes in The Oregon House group and shares the path to the beach, though you'll have a quiet atmosphere and plenty of space.

Location with a private beach, what more can you ask for? Especially during this weekend where it was 100 degrees in Portland, everyone was planning a trip to the beach. We had what felt like our own little beach to ourselves. The estate we rented had plenty of space, a king size bed, and Roku TV. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this is a place you should book. Only real con, no gas stove/grill. But there are spots on the grass you can use to grill. Communication was pretty poor with the owner (never responded to my questions) but if you plan and prepare it won’t matter that much.

It’s truly a beautiful part of the Oregon coast, the lawn is great and the beach access perfect. The unit is missing some things that would be helpful such as a place to hang towels in the bathroom, or outside the bathroom, anywhere! The sink is so small it’s difficult to wash dishes without getting water everywhere. The furnishings are nice and the unit is comfortable. I work in Florence occasionally so I have stayed at tons of rentals in the area and this one is pretty good but without a real kitchen it’s not practical for a longer stay. I really loved sitting outside and watching the waves!

My family rented 3 cabins to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday and absolutely *loved* our experience! The rooms were very spacious and adorably set up. The view! It felt like such a blessing to wake up to the ocean right out my window and then to watch the beautiful sunsets each night. The grounds are kept incredibly clean and it's very peaceful. There were 2 bbqs for public use which we'd use to cook each day, then use the complimentary microwaves in the rooms for leftovers. Each room also has a mini fridge, so an easy fix for alot of packed food is to keep some in your cooler. There's a mini mart/liquor store about 15 min south and then a Fred Meyer just 20 min south, so easy access to more ice/food/water. We also discovered horseback rides for the beach and tours for the largest Sea Lion cave on our way to the store, which we'll try next time. MY ONLY ISSUE was the final set of stairs down to the beach from the cabins. The trail is a little steep, which we knew would be difficult for my parents, but we could walk them through that. But those final set of stairs down to the beach made it not possible for them. They were also a bit steep and without a rail, which even made me nervous with my silly coordination. Sitting down to scoot down a couple steps were hard because the final steps are also made of metal grate. We understand that this was due to recent changes from the tide. Plus my parents really liked sitting on their balcony to watch the beach, so they didn't really feel left out while us "kids" went to play in the ocean. We hope by the next time we come back, there's a rail to help you down the last set of stairs. If not, we did find that about 10 min south, there were plenty of spots to drive down so that my parents could easily walk out. So in the end, I am so thankful this place exists. We took so many pictures, made so many memories and are already planning to come back next year - or maybe make this our new annual family trip 💚 THANK YOU!

At times we could not text or make calls. Did not have corkscrew. Great hiking and restaurants nearby.

This place is great for sharing with a baby. The bedroom is so big that we felt like the babe had her own little space. It’s also close to beach access and perfectly positioned between Florence and Yachats. The common grassy area was large and well maintained. The only thing we could ask for is more kitchen towels, a few well placed hooks for the kitchen and bathroom towels, and tile in the kitchen area. Not sure why they chose to put carpet in the kitchen, but it was so clean I guess it doesn’t matter.

The location of Oregon House is unrivaled: it's on the rugged and undeveloped stretch of coast in Lane County south of Cape Perpetua and north of the dunes of Florence. With the building only a few feet below the highway, I felt complete privacy thanks to the landscaping. It didn't matter that my building, Estate House, was a triplex.

The property was just renovated, with thoughtful interior design and smart home features. The living room has a view of the ocean and at the end of the beautiful lawn there are stairs/walkway to a pristine beach, which felt like a private piece of the coast.

You can make a fire on the beach, and on the lawn there are 2 public grills for barbecuing.

I had a very special time at Oregon House.

Setting and home is beautiful and accomadating, with the exception of the kitchenette :/ Very dysfunctional! The sink is very small, can't wash dishes without splashing water. No electrical outlets, you can't have coffee and use the toaster oven at the same time :( even if the plug for the toaster oven could reach the outlet... lol
Don't get me wrong: It is a very nice place, and i would stay again if there were some kitchen fixes :) For me... i like to prepare my own food for my family, so that was an issue for me. (other than the kitchen) The Oregon house #3B is a very comfortable & beautiful home, with an exceptional view of the ocean. Park like setting, i really loved the trees with the view of the ocean. Best of both worlds. Had a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Oregon House 3B. It was very comfortable, with plenty of space for a family of four. In addition, it it felt like we had our own private beach to explore. We look forward to staying here again!
