Tri-level lakefront house with Ping-Pong table & private hot tub!

Treat yourself to a serene and restful vacation at this tri-level lakefront retreat on Siltcoos Lake, just south of Old Town Florence. Three bedrooms with room for 11 will make this a perfect spot for a multi-family retreat or gathering of friends. With modern upgrades, beautiful lake views, and plenty of amenities (including a brand-new hot tub), this Florence vacation rental has you set up for a fun-filled and rejuvenating Oregon Coast experience.

Serenity has a truly secluded location at the end of a dead-end road. The home is set into a beautiful area that feels much like a natural park, with huge trees, birds, deer that eats from your hand, a year round creek that flows into Siltcoos Lake - the largest of all the lakes in the area. This house has a deeded access to the lake for privacy, and it will be all yours: the neighbors each have their own docks and lake access on their own property.

Inside the home, you'll be greeted by a clean, open space with hardwood floors, simple and modern decor, and lots of large windows perfectly framing the lush forest just outside. A comfy leather sectional in the living room is perfect for enjoying the flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player - plan a group popcorn and movie night (don't forget to bring some DVDs!). For those that may want to stream a show on their tablet, wireless Internet is provided as well.

French doors open up to a tree-lined patio where a gas grill is ready for your ideal summer cookout. The outdoor dining table with chairs for six is a great place for appetizers before dinner or a board game during the day. The covered decks are perfectly located to receive morning sun, making it a beautiful spot to enjoy breakfast with a peek-a-boo view of the lake as you sip your coffee.

When it's time for dinner, put on your favorite tunes on the CD player and whip up a home-cooked meal in the fully-stocked kitchen overlooking the dining and great room. Along with stainless steel appliances (including an ever-so-helpful dishwasher), you'll find beautiful cabinetry and plenty of counter space for food prep. Serve your meals at the dining table set for six, outside on the patio, or eat at the breakfast bar where you'll find stools for four more.

Each of the three bedrooms offers a tranquil place to lay your head, with uniquely patterned bedding and curtained windows. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and one full bath to share with dual vessel sinks and a walk-in shower. On this level you'll also find a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer and peaceful porch swing off a private balcony for sipping morning coffee or reading a good book.

Down on the basement level of the home is a bedroom with another queen-sized bed and patio access that will lead you down the lake trail. Also on this level is a media room that's perfect for kids. Along with a twin-over-full bunk bed and a queen futon, there's a 36-inch TV for watching movies and a game table too. In addition, there's a ping pong table in the garage to stir up some friendly competition.

When you're ready to explore, head down the path just out back about 50 yards for lakeside fun. There's a perfect spot for launching a kayak if you've brought one, and since lake access is shared with only three neighbors, you'll feel a great sense of privacy. Look close, you may even spot a neighboring deer family out for a drink!

Head a little further afield, and you'll never run out of beautiful area to explore! Less than two and a half miles away, you can take a thrilling ride down the sand dunes; and four miles away is Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial Park. The area's lakes and rivers are famous for salmon, bass, and trout fishing, and many lakes are stocked with fish during the spring and summer. Eleven miles north lay Heceta Beach where you can play in the sand or uncover gems from the sea in tide pools.

Hike up to the Heceta Head Lighthouse for some stunning panoramas of the coast line, and make sure to stop by the Sea Lion Caves just a few miles further up the road! On your way home, stroll through Old Town Florence for some shopping and a specialty coffee and check out the local art in the galleries nearby.

There's plenty of fun to be had and relaxation to enjoy at this beautiful Oregon Coast home. Book now and get ready for a memorable Florence adventure.

We had a wonderful time at the Serenity lake house. It has beautiful views, a GORGEOUS kitchen, and ample room for 2 or 3 families. Check in was easy and we really enjoyed our stay. The only bummer was the downstairs bed had sand in the sheets and the fireplace didn’t work. That didn’t stop us from having a great time though! We will definitely be renting this house again!
Manager Response:
We have removed the fireplace from the amenities as it is consistently drained of propane and not left working for future guests. We apologize for any disappointment this causes our guests. We followed-up with housekeeping who apologizes for any sand in the freshly made bed. Thank you!

I would not recommend that anyone stay at this home until the water/moisture issues are resolved. Upon entering the home you can smell the moisture in the air and feel it in the carpeting. The bottom floor of the home was unusable for us as the kids had allergic reactions to the mildew (or mold) on that floor.

The home has a nice narrow view of the lake with a huge kitchen and common area, which is good. The lake is not easily accessed and the path is not very kid friendly, so be aware before staying.

While the home sleeps 10, there is only enough room for 8 people to sit together in the dining area - and that is after we moved some kitchen bar stools over to the table.

Considering the water issues combined with the dining area, I'd recommend that a group of 4 stay here, not 10.

Manager Response:
We inspected the home for mold and moisture and were unable to find anything. This is a well-kept home with a dehumidifier on the lower level. The path to the lake is through the woods. We keep it trimmed, and there are no man made steps leading to the water. The dining table seats 6, and the bar seats 4, so there is enough dining space for 10 guests. Thank you!

What a great home for a family vacation! There is lots of room and you don’t feel like your on top of each other and we had 2 babies also. The ping pong table and kayaks were a huge hit. We took our Jeeps and 4 wheelers and had lots of room for parking. Beds not the best but we would stay again for sure!!

We had a few minor complaints but we’re mostly happy with this home. We were also concerned that the distance from the home to the dunes may be a bit long but it’s less than 10 minutes. Loved our stay. The home is great.

The house is beautiful and has tons of space. The couch definitely needs to be replaced, it very uncomfortable and is tearing in multiple places with a board under the cushions. The house is too nice to have shabby furniture like that. The deer in the yard everyday was so cool to watch, and the view of the lake was nice. We didn’t use the kayaks since We were a group of girls, and there was NO easy way to get them down to the lake and in to the water since it’s not easy access. The hot tub is a plus but it’s small and could have used a good cleaning, we never could get the jets to work either but we did still enjoy it for a little bit. There were plenty of bath towels but the kitchen could use a few more towels and there was not a whole lot of extra pots/pans, enough to make it work but a wider variety would have been nice. Overall we had a wonderful girls weekend and would stay again but, it’s a little further from Florence than our past experiences so would probably look for a closer house next time 🤷🏼‍♀️ oh and we couldn’t get the fireplace going either so we just turned the heat up 😁

House was great. Big open living room and kitchen were great. Close to dune access and the town of Florence. House was a little moist feeling but given the amount of rain we got, that was expected. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and stocked. We used the ping pong table and kayaks in the garage. Trail to the lake is a little steep. It would be nice if there was a dock at the lake. Overall we were very happy with the house and would return.
Mary B. Sep 2017
We really enjoyed the home..plenty big for family get togethers..
We assumed the access to water would be easier
We had a small fishing boat and kayaks..couldnt get on kayaks down bank and mud..wish there had been a dock of somesort..

Far house on the left!

Gorgeous house. Beautiful design. Amazing kitchen and living room den. Not to mention two beautiful decks to look into the trees and lake.

Each morning we were greeted by a family of deer who were just wandering the property grounds. The house is located in a great place that is not too far from the main highway that can take to town and further up the coast.

The house offers WIFI connectivity which was nice to log onto during our stay at the house however for the most part of our stay we did not have any cellular service which was great bc it kept us remote and allowed us to really enjoy our stay.

We went and rented a few atvs with Torex and they were just a great business to work with. The sand dunes are a place you cannot skip out on and worth every minute.

If we ever go back to Florence, this is the house to stay at.
Roy H. Aug 2017
We stayed here last year with our whole family and we even had a wedding out by the lake. This year we brought the whole family back for our one year anniversary. This home is beautiful, serene, and it is now a very special spot for our entire family. Hope to see you again next year.
Elaine S. Aug 2017
The house is advertised as though you can easily kyack from the house, with the kayacks provided and with direct access to the lake. What is not told, is to get the kyack to the lake you have to go down a steep hill, climb over logs or navigate a steep bank to the water and that the kayaks are not sea worthy. We were not able to kyack from the house due to safety concerns loading the boats. I would not stay here again if I want to kyack. The house was nice.
Manager Response:
The winter storms washed up several logs that we have been unable to remove. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing our guests.
Julia L. Jul 2017
Pros: amazing location, peaceful and serene. Regular visits from deer family, sound if a distant owl at night. Close enough to town, far enough for peace & quiet. Some of the best restaurants in the region just a 10 minute drive, local marina just a few minutes away with great staff. House is well appointed with all you need for a pleasant stay.
Cons: DO bring your own water toys, the kayaks were not able to be used. Also, swing by the marina on the way in to pick up ice & water. Fridge ice & water was not operational. A good dock and pathway to the water would be nice, but this us probably not an issue with the property owner...they may not have deeded water access.
Overall beautiful home. Want a peaceful week away with the comforts of home? Aka internet and cable? This us your place!!!
Gehron B. Jul 2017
Just got back from a weekend with friends at the amazing property. I highly recommend this property to anyone who loves nature and enjoys a nice home. The lake front property was amazing and we were pleasantly surprised with the water temp and how it was a private lake with zero speedboats which made it safe and fun to paddle and swim in.

The location is great. Close enough to town to be able to run for supplys and great easy access to the Oregon Dunes and the beautiful beach.
Jordan Y. Jun 2017
This was a great place to stay! Great view, quiet, peaceful and sorene setting. Had all the services we needed, lots of room very comfortable and clean. Loved the decks sitting out at night or in the morning and relaxing. Great access to the lake.
Daniel M. Jun 2017
As everyone writes - a beautiful house with some basic problems that can be fixed. Since 2016, beds, fireplace, kayaks and other issues that have been detailed are ignored. Explain the Master Bedroom on web site, advise the fireplace has been disabled, holes in the kayaks and beds that are terrible. Spend a few bucks and fix these problems to create a great experience.

Thanks
Party of 10 on 6/5/17
Manager Response:
The kayaks are routinely patched as they are regularly dragged to and from the lake which causes constant damage. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes our other guests. The fireplace works but will be turned off for the summer. Thank you!
Kimberly J. Apr 2017
Beautiful house in a great location, but to enjoy the outside space, it could use easier access to the lake to launch the kayak's and a fire pit would be great. tall dining table doesn't work well for short people. Not enough comfortable seating in the living room to hang out for all people in the group. Time for a new sofa. Piece of plywood under the cushions made it difficult to get comfortable. We just couldn't find any space to lounge as a group.
Kristine M. Feb 2017
My family and I spent a week here and it was GREAT to have a full kitchen and have all the appliances that were needed in everyday life. The house was very clean and inviting. There was enough towels, toiletries, blankets for movie nights, and the beds were decent. The deer get really close if your quiet and bring crackers :) The surroundings are beautiful and it's nice and quiet. As for the things I'd change...The couch isn't the best and the recliners that are posted in the pictures aren't actually in the house. The upstairs shower is VERY slow to drain so you kinda have to shower fast and it would be SO much nicer if there was a dock at the end of the path that leads to the lake. The twigs and logs make fishing or swimming close to impossible. With that said, I would still stay here again and again. Thanks Vacasa
Robert F. Feb 2017
This house is awesome. Very clean with plenty of room for a large group and a kitchen that has every thing you need (we even found a pizza cutter. I highly recommend this house.
Pamela T. Jan 2017
My friends and I spent the weekend at the house to celebrate my birthday. The house could not have been more perfect for this occasion. The kitchen and living room set up was ideal because it was open and huge! Everyone could find a seat and be social together. We made plenty of use out of the ping pong table and the hot tub, which were big bonuses. The best part was seeing the sunrise over the lake. I will definitely be back this summer!
Yvette J. Jan 2017
We spent Christmas 12/24/16 - 12/28/16 with our family at this beautiful property. We could not have asked for a more relaxing setting, watching the sun rise over the lake & the deer roam around the yard. It had been many years since our family had been together for Christmas, this was the perfect place to reunite. A wonderful time was had by all. We would like to thank the homeowner & Vacasa for making this one of the most memorable holidays for our family. We will definitely be renting from Vacasa again.
Rebecca W. Dec 2016
The home was even more beautiful than the pictures depicted. Deer wandered through the property each morning and the decks are the perfect way to start each day, with a cup of coffee of course. Our family enjoyed trying out the kyaks .
Victoria G. Nov 2016
We loved the house. Very well appointed and warm and cuddly despite the size. Deer feeding on the property just made it . A couple of hitches re service follow up. Would definitely recommend it .
Makcem K. Nov 2016
this is a great home to vacation in. 5 out of 5
Melissa F. Nov 2016
Loved our stay and we will certainly stay again.
Janet H. Oct 2016
The great room is awesome and our family felt comfortable cooking, eating and playing games all together in that space.
The views from each level are terrific.
This home has so much to offer for a large family & friends to be together, relax, to while having separate areas to go to. Bedrooms & bathrooms were generally comfortable.
Pat Z. Sep 2016
Beautiful home, awesome kitchen, living area, very private!
Bryan T. Sep 2016
This is a beautiful home - and lots of stairs - dirty carpeted stairs that they do not want you wearing shoes while you are in the house either. The Kayaks are a great idea - but when one is broke and the other is full of mud - not much you can do with them. And the ping pong table is a great idea... but when it is dirty and has water puddles on it and it is in the corner - not much you can do with it. As for swimming and fishing - dont bother. There are tall reeds and lily pads all over making it impossible. This house should ONLY be rented if you just want a really nice house to relax in... but remember to wash and put your dishes away. They want you to do that - part of the check out - yet, they charge over $200 for cleaning. OH and you do not have access to all of the rooms -which i understand, but they keep you out of the master bedroom. Hot tub was great - not very private due to neighbors behind the house - but we were pretty lucky and only saw them 3 times. Again, house is very nice - but there is not much to do since the items they advertise are not 'fully true'. And bring house slippers as you are not allowed to wear shoes in the house.
I am not saying this is a bad place to rent - but just note that it is not what we had expected. We could not kayak, fish, or swim. We did BBQ though. :)
Manager Response:
We are sorry to see that there were some disappointments with this reservation. The carpets have been cleaned, the kayaks have been repaired, and the ping pong table has been moved to the center of the garage. Washing the dishes is not required, but we do ask that guests wash a load before they depart if they have time.
Roy H. Aug 2016
We want this house for next year.
Kathy M. Jul 2016
The house is amazing. There were six of us and we loved it. The setting is beautiful, the house is clean, the linens are lovely and the view is great. If you just want the house, you will love it! The amenities, the extras that were promised were terrible. The kayaks both had holes, there was no beach, the water was full of lily pads right at our entrance, along with two huge logs in the way. The grade was very steep for getting kayaks up and down the path to the water. The gas grill did not work.
Manager Response:
We would like to apologize that the amenities were not in better condition for this stay. The kayaks have been repaired, and there is a small beach about 50 yards away that is perfect for playing in. The owners have purchased a new grill for the home so our guests can enjoy a cookout.
Dwight A. Jul 2016
It was a great place for our large family. Wonderful lake. Even though it rained the whole time we were there the covered decks came in handy for plenty of space for everyone. All in all a great property.
Cristina W. Jun 2016
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this modern, clean and beautiful house. It's perfect for children and teenagers, and perfectly located near all kinds of adventures for all: private lake access, sand dunes, beaches and dining/shopping. The basement play room was perfect for out teens!
KaLeigh W. Jun 2016
We were really excited to use the kayaks on day two but quickly discovered there were holes in the bottom of both. Our husbands are do-it-yourselfers so they ran to town to get a boat repair kit and had it fixed within 3 hours so that we could use them. I will credit Jim the maintenance/caretaker who made a call to us that afternoon to let us know the prior renter informed them of the leaks and he would be happy to repair them. Thanks Jim!
I would recommend to the owners finding a solution for the upstairs bathroom sinks, both plugs were down and took some prying to get them back up so that they could drain properly. I read about this on a review prior to our stay as well.
Wasn't completely convinced that the water was okay to drink considering that it pumps from the lake. I would suggest buying bottled water. Email confirmation said 4pm check in time and when we arrived housekeeping was still there which made them feel rushed. When we got into the house the floors felt sticky, thinking that the cleaner being used isn't the correct cleaner for the wood floors, that or they are using too much cleaner. The stove was dirty and the kitchen floor could have been swept better. Overall though the house is beautiful and far out weighed what lacked in cleanliness.
We had children ages 6, 3 & 2. The kids loved The Hobbit Trail hike. It was just long enough to tucker them out and the beach was beautiful.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and will be happy to recommend the location to friends!
Jenna K. Jun 2016
This is the second time my family and I have stayed at the Serenity Lake House and we were not disappointed (once again)! We will continue to stay at this house because it is so spacious, beautifully maintained, and has everything we need.
Sean P. May 2016
Fantastic stay, hoping to do a yearly visit with the same group!
Tanya T. May 2016
It was just the two of us celebrating my 54th birthday. The house was everything I expected, including no access to the master, no window treatments in some areas and a grill in non-working condition. That being said, I was forewarned through prior reviews so I wasn't disappointed. It was a great house. Had a wonderful relaxing time in a serene environment.
Evie R. Apr 2016
We will rent this house again!!! Great location, easy rental, quiet, peaceful, wonderful.
Cori E H. Apr 2016
Wonderful stay! It was a very relaxing and peaceful getaway birthday celebration with my husband and great friends. Would love to stay again!
Tifany C. Mar 2016
Very nice rental home but... lack of cleanliness as well as construction taking place in the home and uniformed. Beds very uncomfortable. Close to surrounding neighbors unpictured. Access to master would be beneficial. Had a great stay besides the fact. Bit spendy on weekend pricing.
Robert F. Mar 2016
We had a group of 10 guys having a weekend golf get-a-way, playing Sandpines. The house was perfect for that. Lots of space, plenty of of beds, great spaces to gather or get some alone time.

I have a golf blog and wrote about the trip. You can read about it here: www.badgolf.blogspot.com.

We will be back next year.
Donelle T. Feb 2016
The Serenity House was a beautiful house. The beds were very comfortable. The location is fantastic and the resident deer were adorable to watch in the yard. But the promised amenities were all unusable or unavailable to us and this soured our entire vacation experience. The much hyped gas grill, fireplace and hot tub all were promised but then we couldn't use them. The gas grill was so corroded it was completely unusable. The hot tub was locked (which is understandable) but there was no instructions available for where the key was or how to obtain it. The fireplace in the living room appears to have been activated via a remote device, which was not provided. The living recliner was completely broken, some of the dishes have chips which did result in a cut finger. If the amenities are not going to be made available to the guess, then don't list them. Sadly, we would never stay at this beautiful location again.
Manager Response:
We are so sorry that you experienced these issues during your stay. We have already shared your comments with our property manager and they will inspect the grill, hot tub access, recliner and dishes to make sure they are in great order for our guests going forward. We would love to have you stay with us again and see how wonderful this home can be. Thank you again for choosing Vacasa.
Jenna K. Nov 2015
If you want to go to a relaxing, beautiful home to make some lasting memories then this is the place to go! The pictures of the house are great, but (for once) the house was even better than the pictures! The main floor (with the kitchen, living room, and dining room) is very big with an open floor plan so you can be cooking dinner in the kitchen but still visiting with your guests in the living room. The split level bedrooms were great for us because we slept downstairs with our two (noisy) young children and our guests slept upstairs. The kayaks are also a great amenity that we used quite a bit. The only drawback to the house is the water heater. Two of our guests took their showers one after the other and by the time the second guest was halfway through her shower the water got very cold. We were able to work around this issue, however, by staggering showers and waiting to do laundry and dishes. Overall, this house is everything it claims to be and more! We are already planning our trip for June :)
Josh B. Oct 2015
Our family of 6 had an AMAZING time! We kayaked, went fishing, walked, watched movies, cooked, played games, jacuzzi'd....amazing! We didn't want to leave.

The only negative I would say is that the kitchen "tools" were too few. I think beefing up kitchen supplies like go far w/ guests.
Danielle H. Oct 2015
The house has many pros and cons. I'm not sure that we would stay here again. That being said we did have a great weekend. The cons for us were that the master bedroom is locked and off limits, there is a neighboring house up the hill that looks right into the kitchen and living area (it could use some window coverings in the kitchen), the beds are very uncomfortable, the dining table is kind of small for 10 people. We had a family dinner with the 9 people that stayed at the house and had to squeeze to fit everyone at the table. Not the end of the world but a little inconvenient. The windows in the bedrooms could use some less see through window coverings. We ended up putting sheets over them for privacy.
There were many things that we loved about the house. The hot tub is great. The weather was beautiful while we were there so we got to enjoy the wonderful balcony's and kayak on the lake. Everyone had fun playing ping pong in the garage. There was lots of space for everyone to enjoy. We had 5 adults and 4 children in the house and it never felt crowded. Even when everyone was in the living space.
Manager Response:
We appreciate your feedback and will advise the owner of your comments. We are glad to see that you had good weather so you could enjoy the beautiful area!
Mercardo G. Sep 2015
Was a great place beautiful indies and out loved the game table and lake kayaks were a great touch loved every day there had a family of deer come onto the property and visit thanks hope to do it again
Diana K. Sep 2015
This house was amazing, very comfortable and peaceful our family enjoyed out time tremendously, we will definitely look into staying again.
Judy G. Sep 2015
Great place to stay for family gathering or for friends and family! Having 2 1/2 bathrooms was a big plus!
Susan M. Mar 2015
This was our first time renting a vacation home. The experience could not of been better. The house was beautiful, clean and every amentity that we needed was there. We will gladly come back again.
Manager Response:
Thank you for your fantastic review. We are thrilled that you had such a positive first-time vacation rental experience! The owners have certainly taken great care to ensure this lovely home is very welcoming and accommodating for guests. We hope that you had a wonderful trip and we look forward to seeing you again!
Cassi J. Feb 2015
Very comfy beds, nice set up, big kitchen. Wish the bbq had propane otherwise nice stay
Manager Response:
Thank you for this great review. We placed the propane tank, thank you for letting us know.
Jenny K. Oct 2014
This house was wonderful. It was only 10 minutes from town and right by the sand dunes. The lake was beautiful. Warm enough to swim but there was some kind of algae in it when we were there so we only paddle boarded. The water access was not as great as I would have liked but it worked. The house was clean and full of everything we needed. The rooms were nice and really could fit a couple of families. The only complaint I have is that the master bedroom is blocked off for the owners use, which would be fine if the downstairs bedroom was more like a master (no closet or dresser). Overall we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the house. In the town we went salmon fishing, crabbing and clamming. We also walked around the historic downtown which was very charming. Great little community!
Russ W. Oct 2014
We relaxed, enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Serenity Lake House in Florence and didn't want to leave. The property was quiet and peaceful and made our vacation really special.
Amber B. Aug 2014
The owners of this beautiful property thought of everything for convenience and comfort. Our group of a small family of just 4 had more than enough room as this home as room for 2 larger families together or a larger group but we liked it so tried it out and boy were we satisfied. In the morning and evenings we enjoyed watching the deer with her fawns come up the drive right along the house and in the evening I really loved hearing the owls outside the window as the house is a three story and you truly feel like you're among the forest here. The kitchen is fabulous and has everything you could think of. It was a great place for our family to share in a crab feast as my husband and 6 year old son took a fishing tour with Tradewinds in Newport. They even saw whales!!! It was a great place to stay for a long and the fact of it being right on a lake is even better. It's so close to Florence and the beaches. Everything about this house was great!! Being from Nebraska it might take us a while to get back but we will, we will!! Thanks again to Vacasa for making this place work out even smoother than most! Amber
