Great location, short walk to the beach. If I had to do it again, I would choose an upstairs unit, floors are thin so we heard every footstep and every move of furniture above us. Balcony ceiling fan was inoperable, it would've been nice to have that when we were having a glass of wine in the evening.
Everything was top rate. The furnishings were lovely, the linens were super nice, the kitchen, household accessories and gadgets were top notch. Perfect getaway!
Excellent property and easy beach access.
Everything was in good repair, other than the normal wear and tear of previous visitors. Very peaceful and comfortable. Would definitely rent this unit on a return trip.
It was our first time in Kiawah and we absolutely loved it!!! This location was perfect and we will definitely be staying again!
4236 Mariner's Watch is totally renovated and very thoughtfully done. Many builtins, lots of storage and steps to beach, comfy bed, hear the ocean from screened in porch."
As frequent visitors to Kiawah, we have experienced many different areas of the island and rentals. This unit exceeded expectations. It was updated as advertised, clean, well equipped, and 40 yards to the beach. The shower was magnificent! Check in and check out were very smooth and efficient. We will be back.
My husband and I just spent 2 wonderful weeks at 4236 Mariner's Watch. It definitely rates as a 5 star villa. The entire condo has been newly renovated and tastefully decorated. It's just a couple minutes walk to the beach. You can hear the ocean from the sunroom! The property was immaculate and Beachwalkers provided excellent services. Our favourite activities included long bike rides and walks to both extremities of the island. Fresh Fields provides good shopping and food sources. We will be back!

For full transparency, we are friends of the owners, but we really enjoyed staying here in 2016 and 2015. Had we been unhappy, we would simply have told them and not written a negative review, but we had absolutely nothing to complain about. They remodeled it not too long ago, making the bathroom larger with a really nice shower. It's just a very short walk to the ocean and Night Heron Park and the place was in great condition. You can read about the other features and amenities in the description, but if you're looking for a 1BR villa, you definitely should consider this one! The only thing that could prevent us from staying here again is the fact that we liked it so much, we've thought about getting our own villa! I will add that Beachwalker has been great to deal with as well. I mentioned to them that we were coming for my wife's birthday and asked that they not copy her on e-mails because it was a surprise. When we arrived, there was a card to her and I believe it was something chocolate. Totally unexpected and thoughtful.

This was a lovely week of relaxation in a beautifully remodeled villa. Access to the beach is very close, and the ocean can be heard from the porch. The villa is well supplied to meet every need. I look forward to my next visit!
We have stayed at several other properties in Kiawah and this is one is one of the best! The location is great and the property is well appointed! We will absolutely stay here again!
The condo was wonderful, clean and ready for us on time. One small maintenance issue was promptly handled. Will be back next year.
Great experience with Beachwalker rentals. The condo unit was just as described. They were very welcoming upon arrival. We had a small issue and they responded immediately
wonderful stay, nice townhome, Beachwalker was very responsive when we needed them
We vacationed week of May 14th (2 adults). Condo was just as pictured and described, very well appointed, high-end comfortable bed, and just a short walk to the beach. Rental agency was very helpful and responded quickly to one question we had. Says it can fit 4 people. Depends on your family, but we thought 4 would be tight? Definitely rent bikes to explore the beautiful island (we used Alligator, a very easy experience...bikes were waiting when we got there). We ended up purchasing beach chairs (left them for next visitors, not sure if they'll still be there?) vs paying the high rental rates they wanted for the blue chairs on the beach. Description of the condo says no beach towels (or chairs) which was somewhat perplexing given one of the main attractions here is ... the beach. But don't let that stop you from renting this place. It was very nice. Our favorite restaurants - Chez Fish and Lokal. Charleston is a beautiful city, just a short ride away, and Jestine's for fried chicken was well worth the wait.
We had a great time during our stay and everything was perfect. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. This has to be one of the nicest 1BR villas on the island and we would choose 4236 Mariner's Watch again for our next visit.
