This villa was more spacious than expected and had 2 nice beach chairs available that we weren’t aware of. The view is awesome - we saw deer and dolphins daily. The closet and pantry space is small and the unit could use some updating. The cleaning was subpar - bed comforter was dirty, floors were vacuumed but did not appear to be washed, bathroom rugs were filthy and shower liner was missing.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read the home was not as clean as it should have been and wish you had called so we could have addressed it for you. Housekeeping will be advised of your concerns so they can be fixed. We hope to see you again, Tony!

Excellent location, very quite, on the water. The apartment has everything needed.
Only issue is the main tv in the living on which neither streaming tv neither the cable tv work.

We love the access to the beach, views, flora, fauna and wildlife. Well equipped kitchen.

My husband and I loved the expansive ocean view from the deck and the beautiful beach just steps away from this lovely condo. The frolicking dolphins, soaring pelicans, and small deer--along with the other marine and wildlife--helped to make our morning coffee time on the deck, beach walks, and sunset viewing so memorable. We look forward to making this special place an annual destination for a relaxing retreat.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at 1378 Pelican Watch and it is always great. A very clean and well appointed unit and some minor upgrades from the last time we stayed here in 2017. The view of the river/ocean is the best. And even thought Bohicket Marina advertises the best sunsets in the Charleston area, they are wrong. The best sunsets are from Pelican Watch. Some really nice beach walks especially going up river. We saw a lot of dolphin. After 4 stays on Kiawah and now 3 stays on Seabrook we have found our repeat location.

This is the 6th time we have vacationed on Kiawah or Seabrook and this location was the best. Watching deer, rabbits, dolphin, birds, shrimp boats and more was great. The unit was very, very nice. The only suggestion and it is pretty major, they need an umbrella or awning for the deck. It was impossible to be on the deck in the afternoon. The table got too hot to touch. We will return and stay here again.

We really enjoyed the week. There was a lot of rain and storms, so it would have been nice to have more TV channels to choose from. Even the usual channels were not available. But the bed was comfortable and the unit was in good shape overall. Love the view and access to the beach! That's what we really come to experience!"

We were very pleased with this condo...I am picky about decor and it was tastefully done and vaulted ceilings in the den added to the appeal. Kitchen had everything we needed. Best of all was the short walk thru dunes to the beach and the 2nd floor deck view of the water and sky. (We realized that the first floor condos had a ceilinged deck, limiting their views) Mgt company was very easy to work with. We would come back!

Sunsets are the best plus dolphins swimming by every day. Friendly neighbors. Great place to spend a week! Can't wait to visit again.

This is my 3rd August at this rental. Everything was great! Glad that a lock was put on the deck door to the beach. Miss the umbrella on the patio table. Couldn't sit out on the patio during the afternoon. Hope its there next year. Thanks for another great week!

My daughters and I had a wonderful time. It was fun walking and exploring down the river and ocean. The best of both worlds. The deer greeted us each morning right off the balcony. The dolphins always were a delight to watch. The sunsets were breathtaking. We had a wonderful week!
