The home is in a great location and beautiful scenery and view. Hot tub was a nice amenity. The home though needs some TLC as several important and necessary things didn’t work.
Manager response:
Hi, Amy! Thank you for staying with us! We are happy to learn you enjoyed the breathtaking views from the home. We regret to hear that some of the amenities were not working, and we appreciate you providing us with the opportunity to address the issue promptly to improve your comfort. We hope to host you again soon!

Super cozy and warm place within walking distance of Alyeska. The rooms were great and the main area is big enough for everyone to visit. If the kitchen appliances were updated this placewould be a 5 star from me.

The house was in a great location just off of timberline. We were able to walk to Girdwood Brewing (amazing beer!) and other downtown locations (Chair 5, etc). The back porch with the hot tub faced the woods and had tall trees above.

Beautiful home. Views are fantastic and so private. Cute little walk down to a small creek.

The hot tub facing the forest was just what I needed. It's an older chalet, but it was comfortable and very clean. The outside looked like it could belong in a magazine

The house is nicely constructed, has a great view to the woods and the jacuzzi works good.
But for the price I really expected more. If it’s spring or summer time, you barely sleep once they don’t have curtains and it’s all open with glass windows.
The kitchen has many problems: None of the power plugs worked. We couldn’t use the coffee machine, toaster or anything else in there.
Oven is rusty and super old and the fan makes cooking an annoying and loud experience.
There are other minor issues with the showers, but we used the other bathroom.
They didn’t provide dish washer, nor laundry detergent.
Barbecue grill was nasty.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Gabriela! We are glad you enjoyed the home and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We will work with our team to identify areas for improvement. We look forward to hosting you again!

It was a great house with an open air design that made it relaxing to live in. They did a good job of stocking the place with basic cooking supplies.

I am very glad we chose to stay in Girdwood and not Anchorage because it put us an hour closer to all the things we ended up doing. We drove to Seward, did the boat ride to the glacier in Portage and saw Whittier and then did a float on the Kenai River. All excellent adventures and all much easier to access from Girdwood. You can spend a couple of days just in Girdwood as well, plenty to keep you busy. We didn't spend much time at the Chalet, but it served it's purpose well. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. It was quiet. Hot tub was a nice plus.

This cabin was the perfect getaway. Tucked away from the main road but still with neighbors close and restaurants within walking distance, this cabin blew us away. Tons of sleeping space and fun little spots throughout the house. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Great location, very clean, worked great for small group of young professionals attending a conference in town. Thanks!
