My husband, two young daughters and I loved our stay at the Buckhead. We're fellow Vacasa vacation homeowners, so the stay gave us some good ideas for our own home. It was incredibly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds and rooms were all cozy and my older daughter loved the log bunk bed. I also loved the couches - perfect for nap time - and the fireplaces. The homeowners have a very special vacation home. Kudos.

This house is ideal for our family - 4 adults and 2 children. Well stocked with everything you need, comfortable furnishings, off the main road far enough to give you seclusion with mountain views. The hot tub, grill, patio, screened porch, washer/dryer, air conditioning, and 2 car garage are added features! We will return next year for our 8th stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house is large enough for the 6 of us, yet cozy enough that we could visit as a group in comfort in several rooms and outdoors.

From the moment we arrived we knew this would be a spectacular home for our family vacation. The house itself was beautiful and very well equipped for our group. We ate at the house a lot and the kitchen and outdoor grill more than met our needs. We loved the screened-in patio with the woodburning fireplace. Many smores and memories were made around those fires! Our grandsons loved the bunkbeds, too! We saw elk, turkeys and a friendly bear around the home. It was nice to be so close to the national park and town, only 2 miles to town and 2 miles to the Falls River Park entrance. This part of the national park was not as crowded, which was pleasant for midsummer. The house is situated away from busy roads and very quiet at night. So glad we stayed at the Buckhead and hope to do it again!!

I booked the Buckhead because we had a large group of grandkids! The accommodations were perfect for our group! The home has great WiFi and entertainment system , plenty of bathrooms, great kitchen, washer dryer. Etc The best surprise for us was the sitting area off the master bedroom which was great for the grandparents to drink their morning coffee and keep and eye on the kids in the evening. The screened in fireplace room was also great for the fire and s’mores. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is very near Rocky Mountain National park yet is very secluded and quiet! Great experience! Can’t wait to go back!

This was the second time we have stayed at the Buckhead. This time was for a family wedding in Estes. The minute I heard the wedding was going to be in Estes, I went online to book the Buckhead! It is the perfect location. Feels secluded but very close to downtown, the grocery store as well as to RMNP. The decor is beautiful, there is every amenity you could ask for and SO clean! The wildlife was abundant every day right outside the house. Our grandchildren loved it and the four-year-old said “this is amazing!” when he first walked in the door. Will always try to book this property if we return to Estes!

My children my husband and I absolutely love this cabin. It is beautiful. There were tons of elk all around us. We do wish it the hot tub works though as it has had an issue everytime we went. Other than this cabin is amazing and we will be going back!

Perfect. Elk & deer in the yard. Hot tub. Nice walk to town. Near the National Park (back country and sledding). Big open area perfect for family reunion. Wonderful kitchen and kitchen utensils and machines (one stove but it worked fine for Thanksgiving as we did the turkey early). Easy in and out. Quiet.
So why the missing 1/2 star? Internet. It's there, but ... we expected rural speeds (a more than tolerable sacrifice when that close to the outdoors) but we didn't expect the connectivity issue. On my notebook it connected OK but only after I did the push button WPS approach (no IP address returned). Daughter connected just fine. Her husband couldn't connect no matter what he tried. When your kids join you for a week, it's expected that they will work a few of the days. It's something that should be fixed and I'm sure you will hear from the owner when it is. Until that's fixed, there are some nice internet cafes/bars in town (the option my other daughter/husband tried and getting computers away from the "retreat" can be a plus).
Everything else was flawless. Great home. Highly recommend it.
Master is on the main level. Two bedrooms upstairs. And the bed in the open area of the loft was also nice for one of our ealy risers (they can use the guest bathroom so everyone has a bathroom) ... so four sleeping areas with four bathrooms if needed.
There is also an outdoor/indoor roofed area right off the living room that is great in summer (shaded with a breeze) or winter (light a fire and snuggle up).
We appreciate this feedback and wish our guest had reached out regarding the internet. We don't typically have internet issues on this property, and we have verified this since receiving this review. Thank you!

It is a comfortable house with nice finishes. Each of the three bedrooms has an attached bathroom with shower. There are TV’s all over the house, including a large Sony with Bose surround sound in the living room. There is a DVD player and cable but no streaming options. The neighborhood was quiet and spread out. The house is close to downtown and the park, but felt fairly secluded. The kitchen was well equipped except for the knives which are falling apart.
My only complaint is that the door code wouldn’t work so I dialed the provided phone number which called an answering service, not owners. They could reset the lock, but didn’t know how it worked. I had to find the manual online to figure out I needed to press star after entering the number.
I will use this house again if in the area.

The cabin was just as pictured. Fantastically furnished in all rooms. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you'd need. Our family loved the fireplace on the screened-in porch. The hot tub was sparkling cleaned and maintenance folks came two of the days to check the chemicals and water level. We will definitely be back.

This house was perfect for our trip to RMNP. It was very clean and well stocked. We loved the wildlife and the neighborhood scenery. It was quiet and comfortable. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

The Buckhead was beautifully adorned with all the amenities our two families needed. The screen enclosed covered patio with fireplace was a huge hit with our teenage kids and us. We were able to hear elk bugling and stay out of the snow with a fire to keep us warm. The kitchen was well thought out and a pleasure to cook in. The house is on the way into Rocky Mountain National Park and right up from Safeway for those few items we forgot .
