We really enjoyed our stay here. We weren't sure what to expect with no reviews and the older style cabinets. However, the owners have obviously made a big effort to update the unit. The pictures accurately reflect the unit (so no in person disappointments).

Kitchen: All appliances (dishwasher, microwave, fridge) are brand new. Dishes are new. The utensils/ pots/ pans are on par with other vacation rentals (so-so).

Living area: I consider it more "spacious" and less "cozy" for a family of 4. Living area was bright and airy. Carpet and seating areas are in good condition and do not show signs of wear and tear.

Rooms: Downstairs is a little darker than living area. But it was fine because we weren't spending much time down there asides from sleeping. The beds are comfortable, and all the sheets and blankets were new and crisp. The closets had lots of shelves and hooks (awesome).

Bathrooms: The master bath was small but sufficient. All vanities and bathtub/ showers are new.

For entertainment and kids- Lots of toys for kids to play with (we even made a puzzle). Plenty of good choices/ classic movies on DVD. However, there is no Internet TV, so bring your own. There is a baby gate in case you need it, so little children don't fall down the stairs. There were snow sleds in the outside storage area.

Location: As stated in owner description, and the first review, bring snow chains. We had a 4WD minivan. We arrived at midnight and there was lots of snow. We made a wrong turn (on a small side street) and got stuck in the snow around the corner from building. It took about 20 minutes of pushing to get our car free. Canyon lodge is close, but not walking distance.

We will definitely stay here again!

We loved this condo! Plenty of room, cozy, loved the pellet stove and plenty of pellets provided, loved all the homey touches and the speakers throughout the place. Jacuzzi was great! Only thing I'd add is that you must bring chains because we had a 4x4 with good tires and still slid down the hill and into another car. Luckily no one was Injured. The locals told us this hill is called bumbercar alley and this is a common occurence.
