Loved the private beach access, the pianos and the bikes that we were allowed to use. A cozy and great getaway cottage :)

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 4 older kids. The area is very quiet, easy access to the beach, good for bike riding, and shopping close by (less than 10 minutes). We actually enjoyed the walk out to the beach along the path. We would stay here again!

It was so nice to be out of town for the first time in months! We rode bikes all over the island and enjoyed the beach.

The hause is a warehouse full of personal staff of the owner. Dirty, stuffy full of dust and smell of mildew. It was dirty and dusty sticky surfaces. Outside the porch was full of junk and sand. We came with friends but they left. We paid more then a thousand dollars for two nights. A nightmare.
Manager response:
We apologize the home was not better prepared for your arrival. We understand what a frustration and disappointment that must have been for you. We will follow-up with our team and hope the compensation offered you shows our desire to care for our guests. Thank you!

St Simons is a National Treasure no matter where you stay: Live oaks everywhere lining the streets, green grass and trees, even in February when we were there. (It was like 65). This cottage is classic old school St. Simons, before many of the cottages have been torn down & replaced with McMansions. This has the charm of years of living and living the beach. Generational pictures abound, two pianos (a vintage spinet and a nice electric with great keyboard action), where you can imagine families singing and having a blast. Similarly connecting the eras, there’s WiFi, nice flat screen TVs, and a record-player with Elvis records! Kitchen has classic porcelain wall sink, yet has modern appliances, ice maker, blender (8 margarita glasses!) washer/dryer & all you need. This is technically beach front, but full disclosure you cannot see the ocean, as there is a dune-preserve making it a short walk to get to the beach. We had a great walk to the beach and then came out at a wide expansive beach access a few blocks south with bathrooms, showers, snack shop (seasonal), and it’s right by the Coast guard station and WWII museum. Hostess was terrific to work with. We’d definitely go back, and would love to do so in summer!

Beautiful home. It is a good ways from the beach so we rented a golf cart which made it awesome! House had tons of character and charm! And lots of stuff! If you are ocd, this is not the house for you! We would love to stay in this home again! Beds were all super comfy!!!

The location was perfect. We really liked the old-timey feel of the house like the wood floors, walls and ceiling. The bathrooms were modern and furnished with luxurious towels.

We had the best time staying at the cottage! It is so close to the beach yet private with trees. The golf cart was a plus and was perfect to take to the beach and around neighborhood. My daughter really enjoyed playing the 2 pianos and performing for us! Thanks again for letting us stay at your cottage!! We can't wait to come back!!!
