In a world filled with pandemics, political upheaval, racial unrest, and social distancing, the three days that we had in this beautiful cabin gave us a spiritual break from all the chaos. Renée and Jeff

Super quiet, peaceful location. Has all the amenities a person would want, and more!

I thoroughly enjoyed the house, how it was decorated, how clean it was and the location. I would definitely stay here again.

From the evening sounds of crickets chirping to the calming smells of cedar riding the breezes that roll by, you will feel clear-minded as you contemplate whether you will cook dinner in the well-equipped kitchen or head out to any number of diverse restaurants nearby. That’s how we began our stay at Heather’s private yet convenient home in Idyllwild. Each time we have visited Idyllwild, we have learned something new about the area. We have met a few local shop owners and supported their businesses. This time, we even got to see Max, the local mayor, who was driven by in his special mayor mobile. Quite a treat as Max is a sweet Golden Retriever! Idyllwild has layers of personality and history in nature that captivate you.
Come morning, Awake from a restful slumber to a home with plenty of natural light and abundant space to feel like you are at home. Spend your time walking town at the shops, hiking at locally marked trails with your friends or settling down on the large back deck enjoying your company at the end of the day. We are grateful for the connection we made with our host, Heather, as she is an excellent communicator. We’ll surely find excuses to return again soon!!

The cabin was surreal. The setting, decor, and comfort all combined to make a peaceful getaway. My only comment is that I think a King Size bed is needed in the lower level for taller guests.

We so enjoyed the Fine Arts home. The house was charming, updated, clean and well-equipped with kitchen tools and supplies. We were able to relax and even enjoy the back deck. We enjoyed our on-line Qi Gong class outside and our instructor even remarked at house peaceful it looked with the boulders set naturally in the landscape. We enjoyed walking town, visiting shops and hiking nearby. Excited to return! Our host, Heather was a fabulous communicator and so accommodating. We are grateful!

We went hiking every day and we read books on the deck. It’s our second time here and we love it

The place is unique with character very specific to its own being a "Art Studio". Beds were wonderful! And so much lighting with all the windows. Especially loved the deck, but the little "alcove/hide-a-ways" off the rooms on the 2nd floor were my fave! Would love to return whenever I get the time off from work :)

Everything about this house and town was perfect. My wife and I went there for a much needed get away and couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!

We loved the spacious home and property.
Everything was immaculate inside and out.
This property was walking distance to town where we enjoyed shopping and many great meals.
To sum it up with a few words..
We definitely will be back. A+++++++++

Everything it’s OK. Wonderful clean house. One minus no smart TV. This is 21st century.

We loved this home! It’s close enough to walk to town and is beautifully remodeled. The kitchen was well stocked and had nice appliances. It was cozy and made you feel at home. Lots of nice touches like the art studio and bookcases. Would recommend to anyone visiting Idyllwild.

First: the house pictures are accurate as, for the most part, is the description.

That said: the ceilings are extremely low on the first floor. If you're over six feet tall, you'll bump your head a bunch. The layout of the house feels a bit cramped, as if it were designed as several different homes rather than a single home. There's no other way to account for the weird 'dining nook' in the bedroom. Finally: there's no queen bed, just two doubles and a twin in the artist studio.

When we arrived, there was a pervasive smell of take-out food that didn't air out.

And, for those who are sensitive to 'energy' or Feng Shui. . .this place is wayyyyy off to the point that it's unsettling.

Ultimately, we elected to stay elsewhere.

Other people have loved it and I get why. Just wasn't for us.
Manager response:
Hi Michael, we apologize for the unpleasant stay you had in our home. We regret that we weren’t able to provide you with the vacation experience you had hoped for. We do appreciate your feedback as we continue to make improvements and updates to our home. We hope to have another chance to impress you.

We were in Idyllwild for a corporate retreat with a team of eight. My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home. We shared meals with the group in the home. The kitchen is set up!! Amazing! If you love to cook, everything you need is there! We sat on the deck, sipping vino, having amazing conversations, surrounded by trees and boulders... and peace. The home is perfect for an artist, for rest, for creativity, for conversations, for music, for laughter! There's places throughout the home and property to Perfect! So beautiful. Highly recommend! Very happy! (Parking area is great too!). Thank you so much!

we loved everything about this home in our recent 6 day stay in Idyllwild. So many nooks to squirrel away and relax (or take business calls). We lived on the deck every morning and slept comfortably at night. The artist loft and invitation to use supplies to paint a canvas was a lovely surprise (which we sadly didn't take advantage of). Would come back in a heartbeat.

I had a wonderful experience staying in this home in Idyllwild. Everything was very clean with the nicest touches and design throughout. It was in the perfect quiet area and was just the right size for me and my boyfriend. We especially loved relaxing on the patio and the skylights everywhere. Definitely a place we recommend and would love to return to!
