There are also fun live music performances and stand-up comedy shows at the Rustic Theater one mile up the road, and a variety of watersports, such as fishing, kayaking, boating, and stand-up paddle boarding, are only eight miles south at Lake Hemet.
If you're in the mood for a day trip, drive 22 miles west to Hemet for museums, shopping, and other attractions in the heart of San Jacinto County. Kids will love playing in interactive exhibits at the Fingerprints Youth Museum, and the whole family will adore learning about dinosaurs that once roamed in the area at the Western Science Center. You could also catch a performing arts show at the Ramona Bowl Amphitheater, rent a boat and explore Diamond Valley Lake, or hike, bike, and trek even more nature trails around the town.
