Charming home with a gorgeous shared pool, a wet bar & a surround sound system!

With expanded amenities like a wet bar, an extra refrigerator, a surround sound system, and more than enough space for up to 12 lucky guests, this five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom Manson vacation home isn’t your typical rental… it’s much better!

Located at Wapato Point toward the southern end of beautiful Lake Chelan, this home is perfectly suited for a water sports-themed weekend or a longer stay spent exploring quaint towns and wineries in the area. In the morning, head nine miles south into Chelan for a hearty breakfast and a fresh cup of coffee at the Apple Cup Cafe, then rent a powerboat from Shoreline Rentals and head out on the lake for a full day of water skiing and relaxing in the abundant summer sunshine!

The home itself is a classy retreat with stylish accents, granite countertops, beautiful oak furniture, and fine furniture. An open floor plan reveals a spacious living room attached to a well-stocked kitchen, and a dining nook with a table seating eight. Relax on the living room’s microfiber sectional couches while watching a DVD or a cable television show on the large flatscreen TV.

The kitchen’s modern appliances make meal preparation and cleanup easy, so go ahead and cook multi-course meals while you’re here! And when your meal is ready, sit down with your group in the dining nook or at the kitchen counter. When the weather is particularly pleasant, you can also head outside onto the deck where a wicker set and two tables with chairs will accommodate your whole group.

After the meal, watch an evening movie with awesome stereo surround sound in the home’s media room or toss a Frisbee in the large backyard. You can also wind down your day checking email or uploading pictures to Facebook (WiFi is included) while waiting for your laundry to finish - a washer/dryer is included, too.

You’ll be tired after a full day of swimming in the shared community pool and zipping around the lake on water skis, so come home for a restful slumber in any of the home’s five bedrooms, which will comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. Beds in these rooms include one king-size bed, three queen-size beds, one twin-over-full bunk set, and a sofabed. Each room is simplistically furnished with items like nightstands, reading lamps, and dressers so you won’t be distracted from getting great sleep!

In addition to its prime lakeside location, this home is also near great wineries and fun day trips. With over 20 wineries in the area, you can easily spend a full day wine tasting! Leave the keys at home and head out with Lakeside Limousine tours to sample the fine pinots, chardonnays, syrahs, and many more exceptional wines of Chelan Valley. Great fishing is also just steps away from your front door at Wapato Point’s trout pond, which is available for fishing during the summer months and boasts a healthy population of eight- to 10-inch-long rainbow trout.

Close to all the best land and water activities you could ask for, this Lake Chelan vacation rental will be a hit with your whole group!

House perfectly met our needs and was well attended. Communication and check-in were a breeze and we would definitely come back.

Super location with great views! But, the house could use some work - sinks/drains etc need fixing in a serious way! Small things - which we told the rep who came by - but a bit annoying. We would stay again but would hope they act on this information.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Michaela! This is an older home that is being slowly improved by the owner during the off-seasons. Maintenance is taking care of the sinks and drains. We hope to see you again!

We loved the back yard and the central location of the house
Sean M. Jul 2019
It had a great amount of space for the amount of people we had.

This house has a great and relaxing view!! Our family of 9 was very well roomy, we fit very good and the rooms eere comfort and clean. The only thing not so good was the oven was super slow to warm and the upstairs fire place didn't work. The tv didn't work with remote control and surrounded sound.
But in general was awesome!!!

Great house with a lot of room!

Location and space for 12

Spacious and roomy. Big enough for multi-family stay. Kid friendly as well.

This house was perfect for three families for a long weekend during winterfest. You can't beat the location, and it had lots of space. It's not the fanciest house in Wapato Point, but it was a great value.

Good time and lots of space

Overall this house was very clean. The only problem we had was when we arrived the garbage can which was located in the garage, was full. It made the entire house smell like garbage for the whole weekend. That was unpleasant. They also lacked some basic kitchen necessities which made things a little difficult but we were able to make do. Overall we liked the house and location.

Over all stay was good, Nice location, good view, good community

But, he saw some maintenance issues
- Previous tenants Trash still there inside the Garage ( Very Bad smell)
- Couches are too old and having dirt smell.
- Lower level bed room heaters are not working properly
- No Hot tub in back patio
Manager response:
Due to resort regulations, the garbage cans have to be kept in the garage or the homeowner is fined per day. Garbage pick up is once a week as outlined in the information posted above the garbage cans. There is central air and heat in the home; there are not separate heaters in the lower level. Since it is a two story home the heat does rise more to the upper level. We apologize if this caused any discomfort. This home does not advertise a private hot tub, but there is a shared one guests have access to. Thank you!

The home is in a great location.

The house itself is pretty dated, old furniture and very sparse. There were not enough dishes to even get us through 1 meal, for example there was a total of 8 of us but only 4 coffee mugs. No "basics" that you'd want either like salt/pepper or saran wrap.

Felt like this home needs a little love (or a small capital infusion).

Our family of 11 adults, one baby and one two year old were very happy during our week together! We loved the outdoor space , especially being able to all eat together outside. The location was perfect-easy to get to the pool or the beach. We will definitely be back!

This home has TONS of space. From the five bedrooms, to the two living rooms, to the large outside dining tables, there is room for everyone! Easy walk to the lake, even with paddle boards in tow, and an easy walk to the pool as well. Perfect backyard for soccer and frisbee.

Perfect place to relax.
Candis M. May 2017
We enjoyed the home as the beds and couches were high quality and comfortable. It was nice to have so many restrooms for our large group, and kitchen was well stocked with most of what we needed. My only complaint was that the wifi never worked while we were there, and the oven stopped working the 2nd day. Close walking distance to Manson downtown which was nice and lovely view.

Great stay. Would recommend!

The house and location were perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room to spread out, privacy, adequate amenities, plenty of tvs though we used them little, and a nice big table to gather and play games. Loved the outdoor space too - morning coffee on the deck, large table for outdoor meals, great barbecue grill, and substantial yard where we enjoyed some great badminton tournaments. We've come to Wapato Point for 18 years and stayed in the condos. This house was the perfect next step in accommodating our growing clan.

Upon arrival the house was very dirty. The ceiling fan didn't work, the bathroom toilet ran practically non stop. Parts of walls were fixed but not painted afterwards. Under amenities it said it had a Foosball table which it did not, the upstairs and downstairs surround sound systems did not work. The list can go on and on. This house could have been perfect if it were actually taken care but unfortunately it turned out to be very dissapointing.
Manager response:
We apologize that this home was not as clean as it should have been; the Property Manager will be inspecting future cleans of this home to make sure they meet Vacasa standards. The foosball table has been removed from the listed amenities, and we are very sorry for the disappointment this caused.

we have stayed at Wapato point several times, the Hardwick house is the best place we have stayed, we were 9 people, we had anticipated 11. we had plenty of nice bedrooms and bathrooms, wonderful kitchen with plenty of dishes utensils pots and pans etc. there is a deck on both sides of the house, central location in Wapato point. it was 100 degrees for several days and the air conditioning system was great. There are 2 video systems, one upstairs and one downstairs so some could watch videos and the rest could watch the Democratic National Convention live.
Diane M. Jul 2016
Awesome & huge place for big family; house could probably fit more than 12 if you tried. Lots of dishes, pans, 1 big pot, lots of utensils, lots of towels. Place seems pretty clean coming from a germaphobe. Floors probably would benefit from a good mopping session though. Back patio was big, and back yard was big enough for kids to play ball. Walk to pool and beach was not too shabby either. It was nice that they had 2 refrigerators (one in kitchen and an extra in the garage.). There was a also huge grill on the back patio.

The only thing that was bothersome, was that the bottom (basement) floor was pretty cold, so if you kept the AC on enough to cool the second floor, the basement would be freezing. If you turn off the AC, the second floor would be too warm. Other than that, we would come back again... maybe next year!

Very spacious and clean home. Great location and home to entertain a large group. Would definitely book again.

Overall great time. We came with kids, so the pool was the main attraction for us. we never made it to the indoor pool... Maybe next time. Jet ski rental is a must, but boat rentals might be the way to go so everyone can enjoy the lake. ;)
The home was spacious, the furniture good. Weird quirky things like trying to figure out which wall switch operated which light was always a test & the ceiling fan in the living room didn't work. No biggie because the weather was decent. The basement was really cool, almost too cool. We couldn't find a way to make it warmer down there, but we did ok. The gas grill is nice, but some of the parts were rusted out and we had to manually light one of the burners, the far left one. No biggie, but be sure to bring a lighter. We didn't come to watch TV, but there were plenty, but we couldn't figure out how to pull up a guide and the remotes were abundant and hard to figure out which one went where... Again, watching TV wasn't the main attraction for us, but at night when you're relaxing, I found myself trying to figure out calculus. Lol. Oh, bring a few extra pots and pans. They have small basic ones, I brought our larger skillet and a larger pot for those of you that cook rice or potatoes. staff attention: Yes, very!!! We had an issue with the wifi passcode and Joshua showed up within the hour to reset it, problem solved! Very attentive. Vacasa review: Vacasa is pretty good. No full 5 star because of communication with the larger entity. If you're lucky and talk to Nicole at the
Local office of lake chelan,, or Joshua (the property manager) you'll be in good hands. Otherwise, don't bother emailing them. You'll get some call center response and everyone has a different answer. Call the local number listed for this property.
