Had a great time at this awesome 50's style bungalow. Well laid out, very well appointed with everything you need to cook, grill, or just relax in the sun in the very nice back yard. Some of the kitchen supplies were better than I have at home! The pool was great, with plenty of floaty toys to lounge on. I've been in many rental properties that felt just like that's what they were...a rental. This felt like a friend gave you the keys to their house for the weekend. I'd go back in a heart beat! We had a great weekend.

The house itself was nice and clean inside. The had all the necessary items you need to cook/clean/etc, however the majority of pool toys had holes in them. The remotes needed new batteries. The pool filter was filled with leaves and clumps of dirt. The bottom of the poop was very dirty - stick and leaves clogging the filter. The ice machine on the refrigerator in the kitchen did not work. Don’t believe the listing when it says the “pool heating” cost money. They also charge you $50/day to run the spa - very misleading and upsetting.

The pool maintenance is scheduled at certain times of the week and falling leaves can accumulate at the filter in between those scheduled times. We try our best to make sure that doesnt happen. The pool and the spa are connected and use the same water. The spa cannot be heated without heating the pool as well and vise versa. We appreciate your feedback and we hope to get another chance to impress you in the future!

Location good but not easy walking to main town. A bit noisy due to jets using north portion of flight path. House is fine for vacation stay. Pool and spa is not intuitive. Even in town maintenance person got the directions wrong. Relied on engineer friend to figure out operation. We’re refunded for one day of pool/spa loss. Garage door did not open all the way. Parked outside. Car got very hot. Inside amenities were serviceable. Master shower was odd. Hot/cold, shower on/off was overly complicated. Got both burned and chilled turning lever the wrong way. Probably not stay here again.

It was a nice stay from the moment we landed. Our flight got in a bit late, and Gregory called to make sure we knew that we knew how to get into the house since the office would be closed. The next morning, I realized that I had forgotten to ask to have the pool heated, I called the office, chatted with Anne, and within 20 minutes, Juan was there to turn on the heat and get us set up. It was fantastic. Also, i called the day before check out, and Anne gave us a noon check out, which when you are travelling with two teen boys that don`t wake up very early, made a WORLD of DIFFERENCE. Thanks so much for that!

This home was everything we wanted for our girls getaway weekend! The home was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. Heated pool and spa were AMAZING. Would definitely select `Modern Desert Zen` for another trip to Palm Springs. Nice, quiet neighborhood, close to all.
