With two wind blocked decks we enjoyed all the tides and the changes that come with that. Harbor seals were flapping and courting and we saw 2 bald Eagles mating in the top of a tree just feet away. I wish beach access was easier. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare any meal. And the Hilltop Cafe next door has wonderful food if you dont feel like cooking.

Gorgeous views and decks. Puppies loved the yard! King bed is cozy. Needs new mattresses on bunks. Would appreciate some recliners! Overall house is lovely.

We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay here! The views of the bay and the ocean was amazing and we enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck. We could see harbor seals playing in the water in front of the house. It was a short walk to the beach and the beach was EMPTY. For most of the time, we had the whole beach to ourselves! The house has a small fenced yard that our pup loved running around in when he wasn't tearing it up on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked but I would recommend adding some additional kitchen towels, toilet paper, and food storage options for leftovers. The only real issue we had is that during our entire stay, the internet did not work and we had to use data on our phones. Multiple emails and calls to try to get it fixed but it never was. Thankfully we didn't need the wifi emergently but if you are planning to need reliable wifi for working remotely, it may be an issue.

We had a lovely stay in this house. The view was terrific - we were able to see both the river with the crab boats and the sea lions, and the sea and the beach. In the evenings we sat out on the deck over the bluff and watched the sunsets.
The kitchen was extremely well stocked with any implement you could possibly need, and there were even some basic spices to help with the cooking. It was also very convenient to have the laundry capability. The small fenced yard was also very handy as we brought our dogs along. Having the cafe just on the other side of the house was also nice when we didn't feel like cooking or going far.
The house had a lot of light, and the beds were very comfortable. Our only suggestion would be to add upholstered chairs in the living room, as the wooden chairs did not make for relaxing furniture after a day out exploring, and we couldn't all sit on the one couch.

We had a wonderful stay the week of July 23. The property has a beautiful view of the mouth to Alsea bay. Lots of seals, sea lions, fisherman and crabbers to watch from one of two outside decks perched on the cliff about the bay.
Very close access to the beach, either by walking or a short drive (1/4 mile) to a state park with nice beach access. Not a crowded area, good food nearby and pretty beaches!

Nice place with fantastic view of the Alsea Bay Bridge. Short walk to the beach, although the access requires either walking down Hwy 101 for 100 yards with no shoulder or through the neighborhood and down a very steep, slippery path. I didn't quite feel safe sending my son to the beach by himself. Also, the wifi didn't work the whole time we were there, which was a bit frustrating, although I expect they'll get it fixed soon.
Hi, Samantha! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and apologize the WiFi was out for your stay. It has been fixed. Thank you!

The view from this home is amazing! This home looks out over the bay and has three different decks for outside viewing. Clean, quiet home and great fencing/privacy for a small family and dog. It is just a short walk from beach access and very short drive to downtown Waldport for groceries or take out. China Restaurant is excellent every time we visit Waldport and still doing take out during the pandemic. The full kitchen is stocked to make meals or prep for a picnic on the beach and the BBQ is conveniently located right outside the front door.
