Gorgeous dog-friendly bayview home - walk to beach, shops, & restaurants!

A tranquil, rejuvenating getaway awaits at this beautifully restored four-bedroom Waldport vacation rental. Perfect for large groups of up to 12 guests, it offers a cozy fireplace, lovely bay views, and plenty of modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable. And the family dog can come along, too!

Residing in a quaint neighborhood on the banks of the Alsea River, this home is conveniently situated near both coastal and city attractions. Just a short walk north, the Alsea Bay Bridge Interpretative Center is a great place to bone up on the area’s history, or you could get your shopping fix along Highway 101, and there’s even crabbing and a boat launch at the Port of Alsea docks (about a mile northeast).

Full of rustic character with knotty pine floors and walls, built-ins, and vintage decor, this home is an adorable coastal retreat. Though the house is almost a century old, it's been lovingly restored and is packed with vintage charm.

Pick out a book from the living room’s library and settle into either of two cloth couches for a quiet afternoon of reading. Flip on the flatscreen TV and you could catch up on a favorite cable series, or watch a movie thanks to the DVD player. If it’s chilly outside, quickly warm the room with the wood-burning fireplace.

When your group gets hungry, head into the kitchen to whip up a homemade meal. Use ample countertops, modern appliances, and a variety of cookware to quickly and easily serve up fresh dishes. And when the meal is ready, eat together at the six-chair dining table in the spacious dining area. For smaller gatherings or overflow seating, use the four-seat table in the breakfast room, which is next to the kitchen.

Is the forecast calling for sunny skies and warm temperatures during your stay? Have a barbecue! Use the home’s gas grill to cook shrimp kabobs, tuna steaks, or any other delicious dishes made from local ingredients, and enjoy lovely bay views when dining al fresco.

Afterwards, head outdoors to play catch in the large yard, or take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. Lace up your running shoes and you could take a refreshing jog along the Alsea River where you’re sure to catch glimpses of coastal wildlife, including otters, herons, seagulls, deer, and bald eagles.

Come home at the end of an activity-filled day, ready for restful slumber. Up to 12 guests are accommodated in four bedrooms, as well as your beloved family dog - for a small nightly fee. The first bedroom, downstairs, has a twin daybed, and there's also a futon on this level. Upstairs are three more bedrooms, two with a queen bed each and one with two full beds - and there are also two twin-size rollaway beds that will be perfect for the kids. Cozy and charming with vintage dressers, cloth chairs, curtained picture windows, and sloped ceilings, the bedrooms are peaceful places guaranteed to deliver a great night’s sleep, night after night.

Wake up refreshed and ready for a new day of adventures. Brew a pot of coffee and start the day with a refreshing stroll down the beach, beginning at Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site (about one and a half miles south). Explore tide pools and uncover treasures brought in with the surf. There’s even a picnic area, so don’t forget to pack a lunch for a festive beachside picnic. If you’re in the mood for a scenic day hike, check out the Woodlands Trail, a wood-chip hiking path that winds through town.

Ready for a fun day trip? Pack your group in the car and drive 15 miles north to Newport where you’ll find a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. If you’ve brought kids, treat them to an exciting day of family-friendly fun featuring playful penguins, curious otters, and many more coastal creatures on display at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Older tastes are well rewarded with a visit to the Rogue Brewery for local beer sampling, and the whole group will love reeling in salmon on a local fishing charter.

Inviting, cozy, and comfortable, this Central Oregon Coast vacation rental will set the stage for an unforgettable trip to Waldport. Book the Alsea Bridge Bay View today and plan for big adventures in a small town atmosphere!

The house was very clean and quaint. It fit our needs for 12 people perfectly. We would rent this home again!

The house was spacious and clean. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout. A great place for family together. Sits one block from downtown Waldport with a view of the bridge. Although it's close to everything, it's not noisy. Beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.

The house is beautiful. The area is a gateway to so much. Heceta Lighthouse, Newport Waterfront, the Aquarium, Rogue Brewery, Florence Waterfront, Moe's, Honeyman, Seal Rock, Yahats! Great fun!

We enjoyed all the unique features of this 100 yr old house. would love to have some history of the house to read. Great location and large enough for a big group . Had everything we needed to stay in and cook. only a few complaints, never could get wifi to work and no reply from host. coffee pot and vacuum did not work correctly for us. hard to vacuum rugs when it's not working properly.
Manager response:
We inspected the WiFi, coffee pot, and vacuum after receiving this review and found all to be working. We apologize for any issues these guests had with these items and wish they had called for assistance. Thank you!

11 of us stayed here. 7 adults and 4 children all quite comfortably. Cute, quirky old house. It took a whole half a day to get oriented to the downstairs layout. We had a lot of fun here. The kids played in the little patch of sand near the back door while we all sat around the picnic table. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets, even two roll away beds in the upstairs closet. Would love to stay here again.

Great home base. We were able to go up and down the coast to see the sights with ease. We enjoyed watching the sea lions in the bay across from the house. We were close to the beach and had a lot of fun.

Such a wonderful place to spend a long weekend. Definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to get away from it all.

This home is across the street from a little bay beach. We stayed with another family and our children really enjoyed playing both at the beach and in the home. We had small dogs with us and the fenced yard kept them safe. The home was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We had a great stay!

Very nice home. Lots of space, beautiful yard. Had a wonderful time.

Was decorated really cute. But floors were dirty and house had a musty smell. Had to have windows open to sleep at night due to smell.
If you or ant family members are big or tall the beds were comfortable if you had the bed to yourself, but sharing was a bit cramped. Was a quite location. Outside of rental could use a real good clean up.

My mom, sister, our husbands, and kids were all able to sleep comfortably in this house. The beds were all very comfortable, no saggy mattresses or poky springs and there were so many blankets, linens, and towels. Three times as many as the $600 a night place my brother had rented up the street. The house on a whole was comfortable, well furnished, and the kitchen knives were even sharp! The house has an antique feel that is cozy and comfortable, like going to Grandma's for vacation or your favorite great aunt's. The yard is quaint with a nice big tree, an old apple tree and several beautiful flowers. The location may seem odd at first but we loved being right in town. We were able to walk to the grocery store and cafes! We loved this house so much and it is such a good value that we will be renting it again this year, maybe even twice! If you want a bright sunny, cheery house that has room for a big family and is an amazing value this is the place. The only downside was the internet is slow, but hey that's the coast for you, and that there wasn't any complete board games. Otherwise this house felt like home. Nobody wanted to leave. P.S the neighbors are all very nice.

The property is beautiful and the stay was great. There were a few flaws like an upstairs door knob being broken the upstairs power went out due to a breaker switch flipping and when we woke up in the morning there was a homeless guy in the woodshed. We called the owners who were very prompt and quick at responding to our needs. This is a great vacation rental. My family and I will definitely rent here again
