This clean and cozy beach bungalow is perfect for your next trip to Folly Beach! This retreat is a freshly-updated three-bedroom, two-full bath cottage that is only a two-minute walk to the beach. It is also only three blocks from Center Street, home to great restaurants, quaint shops, and the famous Folly Pier–close enough to stroll to dinner, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing getaway. There is plenty of parking to leave your car while you navigate the island on foot or bike if you wish. The professionally landscaped yard is fully fenced and private, with plenty of space to enjoy being outdoors.

After a fun day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower and changing area that is covered in climbing jasmine. Grill your dinner and dine al fresco on the picnic table or in the spacious, screened porch (affectionately known as “Gimme Shelter”), which is the perfect year-round outdoor hangout spot! The first and second bedrooms each have a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two queen beds, all with fresh, clean linens and pillows. There are two full bathrooms with plenty of fluffy towels.

The large, open kitchen is perfect for family meals and is fully equipped with everything you will need, including lots of extras to make your stay easy and enjoyable. There is a "kids table", a Pack N' Play, and a highchair if you need them.

Just one block away is one of Folly Beach’s public parks with a nice tennis court, basketball court, and a great Pirate Cove playground for the kids.

Soulshine was a perfect getaway location. The living/family area was open, bright and sofas very comfortable. Beds are comfortable and good linens. Well equipped kitchen. The outside screen porch was great for playing games, enjoying beverages and listening to music. Being just a short walk from the beach and Center Street was very convenient, and quiet. We just parked the car for most the trip. First time to Folly Beach, what an awesome beach town!

Soulshine was a wonderful place for our 7th GBA (Great Basset Adventure) to Folly Beach. The pups love, and we do too, the minimal stairs that they have to go up and down. And the proximity to the beach, just 3 blocks, made for beach trips all the easier for short legs. For us, the backyard and front yard were delightful to lounge at. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped that made gourmet meal cooking easy. Though I am not a fan of glass top electric ranges, because your pans can`t be warped, the pans and pots were in great condition for it. And an excellent selection to choose from. The kitchen utensils were well stocked and the knives were some of the best, sharp and of good weight. An electric kettle would have been nice to have had (we usually bring ours but forgot it) since we are tea drinkers. The outdoor grill was in good condition and we were able to grill several times on it. Interior comfort and décor was great and since it was a little chilly, the heat worked really well. The only other thing I would have liked would have been a straw broom to sweep up the Live Oak leaves, we don`t like leaving a mess when we go. My wife and I and our Basset`s highly recommend Soulshine and Folly Time rentals. Communication with Folly Time was excellent and look forward to using them in the future. Beautiful Home This house was immaculate and charming. Very well laid out . Absolutely everything you could want in the kitchen. Beds are super comfortable. Easy walk to the beach ( a couple of short blocks) and easy walk to the center of town. We had a lovely time and a big thanks to whomever renovated the house and a shout out to the cleaning team for an outstanding job. Absolutely fantastic! I work in tourism and travel over 300 days per year staying in hundreds of vacation rentals and hotels. This place is absolutely perfect. Clean, well maintained, has every amenity you can imagine, and the location is perfect. In addition, the property management company is very professional, easy to contact, and great to work with. 5 stars all the way!! This was a total surprise excellent location, everything you needed was available. Fenced yard was just what we needed for our two pups. Walking distance to everything from grocery to night life. The island was very friendly. The home was clean and modern. No issue whatsoever. Completely fully stocked for dining in if needed. We will return ! It was our first time to Folly Beach. And it was the best getaway ever! The house was absolutely perfect it’s name was SOUL shine, And it was so clean and perfectly charming. The crew was nice enough to let us have an early check-in which really helped a lot. The beds were so comfortable, everything was just amazingly accommodating! The location was perfect, just two blocks to the beach and about four blocks into town! We will definitely be back and I will definitely book with Folly time rentals!! So cozy and the outdoor areas of this place are like a hug. Porch was such a fantastic place to hang out. We live in Charleston and decided to stay local for our vacation week. Such a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for my husband and dog, and we could’ve fit 2 more couples comfortably.
