The perfect get-away cottage, clean, well air conditioned, and behind the Winery so that it was quiet. Wonderful service at the winery. And maid service cleaned up the room while we were out for the day.
Wonderful cabin great location.
The cottage was decorated beautifully and private. A patio in front & back made a very relaxing place to enjoy our complimentary wine & pastry.
This vineyard offers over 50 wine selections with a very knowledgeable staff. It is secluded enough for a quiet atmosphere yet a short drive into town. The cabins are filled with amenities and a luxury country feel. Would definitely recommend this amazing place and will be back again!
My fiancé and I loved this cottage. The interior was well-decorated with nice artwork and beautiful furniture. The bottle of wine and OJ for mamosas was great as well. The breakfast danish was outstanding! And the location was superb being so close to several wineries. Also, the late checkout option was a great addition for us. Overall an outstanding experience.
Beautiful, cozy, peaceful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended.
The place was perfectly kept, very spacious and very generous with food and drink!
The Paris Cottage was beautiful. It was well maintained and was immaculately clean. Would DEFINITELY go back.
We enjoyed the stay and was pleasantly surprised by the views, queen beds, linens, and extras including fresh baked cinnamon rolls. We will be back to visit.
Couldn't have been more happy with our Paris cabin. The pictures don't do it justices. Thank you for the extra tasty treats treats. I travel a lot and this was the perfect places for 4 friends to hang out for the weekend in Fredericksburg. Don't think twice...just book it!
It had all of amenities we needed for a relaxing hassle free weekend. My husband threw out some deer corn and had 10 doe eating 20 feet away from our porch the next morning. Loved it!
Loved the cottage and amenities, and the grounds. Very peaceful. Check in was 4 pm but would have been helpful if we knew there was a happy hour at 3 pm, so missed it. Also would have been good to know there was no food for purchase, so had to travel into Fredericksburg to get food. But overall, a very nice stay at Messina Hof.
Cozy and centrally located for our favorite winery, Luckenbach and brewery.
Romantic, secluded, clean, stocked refrigeration - add beautiful wife - perfect
My husband and I loved the Paris cottage! It was exceptionally clean and well decorated. Our favorite part was sitting on the patio off the bedroom, and watching deer leap between the trees on the rustic landscape. Perfect adult getaway, however we would bring our children here also!
Everything was perfect, the tasting included with the room was so great. The amenities included with the room like food and wine were fantastic.
Super cute clean and cozy
What an Awsome place to enjoy for my wife and me. First Class all the way!!! We loved the decor. The price was very reasonable for it being so close to the shopping strip.
We struggled to find a place to house the three of us when visiting Fredericksburg for a ladies get-away. Most vineyard accomodations focused on couple retreats. This was a match for us, allowing us to room together, have close proximity to vineyards and Fredericksburg, and the comfort of home. The amenities were delightful, and the cleanliness, space and location matched our needs and expectations. The staff at the Messina Hof treated us as true guests not customers. We would recommend the accommodations to others.
Had the privacy to enjoy our group with nobody looking over our shoulder. You did a great job of staying out of our view.
We got this for a Girl's Weekend Getaway and it was awesome! We enjoyed the view from the back porch, the room size and accommodations such as refrigerator, little living room area and breakfast.
The cottage layout was great; enjoyed sitting outside drinking our free bottle of bubbly; coffee cake absolutely delicious; location nice; the grounds were peaceful; enjoyed visiting the winery also. Really liked all the wines, and the price great!
House is quiet and nestled behind the winery in the trees. The coffee provided from a local roaster was fantastic! We only had one night here, but will be back!
Perfect place for an overdue weekend of relaxation. Quaint and romantic and wine!
Definitely visiting again soon!
Clean, nicely decorated and good breakfast items.
Loved everything about this cabin. It is very charming and very comfortable:)
We loved our stay in the cottage! The grounds were so nice and quiet. The inside was so welcoming. Loved not having to check in at a front desk and having our own private breakfast and snacks was a plus. Will recommend to others and will return again.
Comfy beds, beautiful room, great wine!
We (family of 4) stayed in the Paris Cottage for one night. The cottage was more spacious than a hotel room, nicely decorated, very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
The cottage was very nice. Big rooms, lots of windows to view the woods. Appreciated having food and beverages on hand. Since the drive into town was a little long. Enjoyed the deck to sit and enjoy the woods with views of deer and other wildlife. I would recommend this place to everyone. Will go back again.
I booked this place for a girls’ trip and had the most wonderful stay. The place is clean and I am very picky with cleanliness. It was stocked with coffe, juice, milk and even toiletries. Very homey feeling especially with their delicious cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend.
Beautiful room great view we saw 3 deer behind our room. We had a nice breeze blowing it was quiet. Great place to stay.
We decided to take a last minute trip and found the mesina hof paris unit. Great 2 room unit and behind a great tasting room. A must do!
Charming, clean, convenient, comfy and quiet. Looking forward to a return visit.
Romantic and beautiful place - we loved it!!
We can’t wait to go back! :)
We loved how cozy it was. Also, all the yummy treats that were in fridge and left on counter and table.
Definitely enjoyed the interior decoration and the breakfast. Should consider installing a magnification mirror in the bathroom to help with makeup.
Spent Easter weekend and had a relaxing, fun time. Really enjoyed the wine tasting and mimosa's in the morning. Thank you!
Nice place, very quiet, loved all the hummingbirds in the front, definitely consider staying there again.
Loved the location of the cabin. Just outside downtown Fredericksburg not too far and not too close. Winery throughout the area. Centrally located. Cute cabin. Clean. The only opportunity that would make it five stars was the mattresses. Our backs were killing us the next morning.
Perfect for a few days away to celebrate our anniversary and relax. Will visit again.
I would stay again. Loved the breakfast cake, very fresh. And, very thoughtful to leave milk and juice in the refrigerator, instead of creamer, which no one ever likes! Loved the free wine tastings and the bottle of champagne. It made us feel so welcome that we never wanted to leave - very relaxing.
We enjoyed our visit at the winery but we didn’t try any wines. We stayed at the cottage at the back of the property. They were nicely decorated and clean. The only thing that was disappointing was they didn’t have binder of information about the winery or complementary wine tasting. I would love to also have information about local restaurants and attractions.
We stayed here on Christmas Eve, through the day after Christmas. the place was very clean. Extremely surprised that the housekeeping staff came out on Christmas day to restock us with anything we might need. it was a very nice quiet location for our family to stay at during the christmas holiday.
Perfect proximity to most area wineries, just outside of town. Nice, private location.
This is a very convenient place if you want to enjoy Fredericksburg and tour the wineries.
Wonderful spot on Messina Hof property right off the highway.
Lovely place to stay, the wine tasting was good, and location convenient for surrounding area.
Very pleasant stay. Felt as if it were my own home.
When we had to change vacation plans unexpectedly, we were pleasantly excited to learn about this wonderful location. Everyone was helpful and courteous. The cottage was a quaint, quiet, and romantic place to get away for our anniversary just as we had hoped for!
Great little cottage, welcome cake and sparkling wine nice surprise and much appreciated! Very peaceful location. Shame it is 10 minute drive from Fredericksburg - taxi's very expensive once you have made the most of the winery!
Very nice! Highly recommend.
Will return again... the location is good. the wine is good.
My best friend and I loved our Paris cottage. It was the perfect location and was very clean and comfy. Very tastefully decorated and good lighting. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back!!
My husband and I live in Rockport and had no idea that hurricane Harvey was going directly to Rockport. We chose Messina Hof cabins to stay in so we could monitor the storm in a quiet environment .!it was the perfect place to relieve some of the stress. It was close enough to town to go and eat and shop. The lodging was very clean and housekeeping was excellent. Loved the coffee cake they left every day and refrigerator had plenty of beverages for us. Thank you. We will be going back
Messina Hof Vacasa homes was a hidden gem for us. We had our young boys with us, and there was plenty of room for us all. The house was beautiful, and all of the extra amenities were a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely plan on staying there again.
Very nice, beds were super comfortable! We had a great time!
I rented the Presidential for my husband and myself and the Paris for my mom and her husband. We were so happy with the attention to detail with the fine furnishings to the lovely themes that we are planning a winter return.
Love the free champagne and glass of wine. The homemade danish was awesome
3 of us girls stayed in the Paris cottage. It was amazing and worked so well for us. We even did yoga on the back porch with the country surrounding us. So peaceful.
The cottage was beautiful and we are looking forward to our next stay.
Great place to stay if you are looking for a place near other wineries. Well maintained, nice bedding. I will say getting breakfast and meals is challenging after you have been to the winery and you just want to wind down. I would logically encourage all wineries who have cottages in the back to solve the lack of food nearby problem. Invite food trailers to visit or provide to go options maybe.
I went with 3 girlfriends. It was almost perfect! We loved sitting on the back porch and visiting inside. Our only complaint was the lighting. With a group of females you're going to have hair and makeup issues. The light in the shower was brighter than over the mirror. ????
Otherwise we were completely satisfied
Exactly what we wanted, privacy, patio, and a view. Really nice and roomy. Beds were a little firm for our taste but everything else was great. The cinnamon roll coffee cakes were delicious and appreciated they put the custom label wine bottles in the room as requested for our anniversary. Great location among all the wineries so we took our our tour but could use 290 wine tour shuttles too. Thanks for a great anniversary weekend stay!
It is a very nicely appointed cabin. If you are quiet, the deer come up as close as 25 yards away from the back deck. The champagne and OJ sure helped breakfast go easier. The ample goodies in the fridge and in the snack rack were far more than we needed, so we left what we did not use. Hummingbirds and a rare hummingbird moth frequent the bushes in the front in the early morning, too.
Delightfully surprised by wine and breakfast in the room
This was the perfect space for our girls' weekend. There were four of us and the size of the cottage was just right. We spent most of our time touring wineries and walking around Main Street, but the cottage is perfect for bringing back a bottle of wine and sipping on the front or back porch. Super clean, very comfortable beds and easy check in and check out. Will definitely stay here again if I go back to Fredericksburg!
It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. We are definitely looking forward to future visits. There is so much to see and do so plan on at least two or three days. Not only are the cottages beautiful, the great wines of Messina Hof are but a step away. Cheers!
Even though the weather didn't pan out exactly as we wanted, we had a great 3 night stay. We arrived on thursday in time to enjoy a tasting & then head into town for dinner. Fri we enjoyed shopping & a few wineries then went to Hondos for live music. It was such a fun atmosphere with great food!!
Sat was all about wine tastings. We take to 4 places & enjoyed the day, foggy & all. :) can't wait to go again.
This cottage was perfect. Great location and very beautiful decoration and furniture. We also enjoyed the cake and the the coffee in the cottage.
The accommodations were everything advertised and more ! My wife and I will return! Highly recommend !!
Had a great trip with my mom. The cottages were very cute. Lots of little treats in the room. Champagne and orange juice. Cereal and milk. And a coffee cake. You also get a free wine tasting while you stay at this property.
Overall the experience was great. The cottage that we stayed in was secluded enough for privacy but you had access to the winery with a few minute walk. Also, the 290 wine shuttle ($25/per person) picked us up at the cottage and took us to any of the 14 wineries on their list. The cottage was clean and the perfect size for us to relax for the weekend while drinking wine and touring the small town. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend filled with wine and good food, then I recommend this destination.
The property and cabins are wonderful. We were quiet surprised by all the goodies waiting for us in our cabin. We will definitely stay again..
We enjoyed all the humming birds and butterfly. They were enjoying the wonderful flowers.I would like to know the names of the flowers(plants). I also wanted to buy one of the milk bottels
Great location! Offers food and pastry with champagne. Quiet and quaint close to all vineyards. Would definitely come back again!
If anyone wanted a romantic getaway to just relax get to know each other again . I would recommend Masons Hof to anyone .
You get your own private cottage just 10 minutes from Main Street! The property is great. Awesome deal!
Wasn't to far from town and if you plan to drive yourself to winery's its is super conviate and in the middle of so many!
We've stayed at the Messina Hof B&B in Bryan which is why we chose to stay at the Fredericksburg location. We'll be back!
The cabin, the location, the town were all fantastic! Can't wait to return.
Great location if you are wanting to visit the wineries near Fredricksburg. You are very close to many of them at this property. The Messina Hof Hill Country location is within close walking distance, and offers some nice wines. Close to town. Very clean, nice, and well maintained property.
This location is perfect for visiting the various wineries and peach vendors! Cottage was clean, private and sweet! A bottle of champagne and orange juice is included and we enjoyed our mimosas at breakfast with the coffee cake left for us in the room. Will definitely stay here again!
Messina Hof has to be one of the best wineries in Texas! They are always so kind, willing to teach about wine, and give great suggestions for places to eat and have fun in Fredericksburg. Thanks for the great German restaurant suggestion, TJ!
