Sun-filled home w/ privacy, shared pool, hot tub & resort amenities!

Light up your life with a vacation at this stunning home in Black Butte Ranch. This stylish, contemporary home has access to two award-winning golf courses, a shared pool, hot tub, spa and other resort amenities for up to six guests to enjoy.

Located in one of Central Oregon's premier resort communities, there are lakes, shared tennis courts, fishing, more than 30 miles of bike paths, and restaurants both upscale and casual within easy walking distance. The charming and lively town of Sisters is just 20 minutes away, and the wild and scenic, spring-fed Metolius River – a hiking and fly fishing paradise – is just 15 minutes away. In the winter, a family-friendly ski area is just 20 minutes from the house: there’s plenty to explore in the surrounding area!

The home itself is in one of the most private spots in the area. Nestled at the end of a long driveway and looking out onto thousands of acres of forested BLM land, it has a bright and welcoming atmosphere, with two-story vaulted ceilings and massive picture windows looking out onto pine forests. In the main open room, you'll find the living, dining, and kitchen areas to spread out in leisure. Relax on the large, leather sectional or chaise lounge to read a book by natural light, or enjoy pleasant conversation as you delight to the antics of local chipmunks and watch families of deer graze regularly just yards from where you sit. Please note that the gas fireplace is currently out of order.

A dining table in the corner will seat six for a family meal, and raised seating at the breakfast bar is great for a quick snack. In the fully equipped kitchen, you'll appreciate stainless steel appliances, a well-appointed selection of chef’s tools and everything you need to make your favorite dishes, including extras like a waffle iron, mixer, slow cooker, blender, food processor, and a dishwasher for easy clean-up.

On this floor, a bonus room provides another place to relax, with a plush sectional, surround sound stereo, flatscreen cable TV with a DVD player, a video library, guidebooks to the area and a huge selection of board games! Or, you might browse on WiFi and stream your favorite shows.

Outside is a large, wrap-around deck with patio furniture for catching sun rays and a gas grill for barbecuing up some tasty fixin’s. Be sure to take advantage of the shared pool, hot tub, and sauna nearby, and take the six bikes out of the garage to ride on the beautiful meandering bike paths!

Three bedrooms and two full baths and a half bath make this home suitable for up to six guests. One bedroom downstairs offers a queen-size bed in a bright setting with a full bath en suite. Upstairs is another room with a queen bed and access to a shared bath. The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, a leather armchair, and shared bath.

A private washer/dryer is available for any laundry you need to freshen up.

This house is perfect for a family or a group of friends looking to stay in luxury - head down to the lake on a sunny day for fun on the water, and maybe rent a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard from the lodge. Horseback riding is available in Black Butte, and golfers will enjoy two beautiful courses, both recently renovated to award-winning acclaim. In the winter, Nordic and downhill skiing are available nearby at Hoodoo, or a little farther at Mt. Bachelor.

For the adventurous, there are abundant opportunities to explore the surrounding area. Sisters Wilderness is home to awesome hiking, including the steep climb up Black Butte, which is well worth the reward with its breathtaking, panoramic view from the top. The Metolius River nearby provides an idyllic hiking setting, as well as excellent flyfishing. Make the short drive into downtown Sisters for a variety of dining, gallery, special events and live performances throughout the year, and shopping options that are hard to resist.

Your next vacation will be a relaxing dream at this gorgeous secluded home at Black Butte Ranch - don't pass up this opportunity!

*At check-in, please be aware that the resort will collect a $9 daily fee for every guest 7 years and older for access.

This home was everything we asked for and more!!

Wonderful light throughout the entire house, very comfortable for our family of five.

Great open plan home, lots of windows and a beautiful view.
Amy S. Nov 2018
We loved the natural light and location of the house. Kitchen was well stocked. The house was the cleanest in which we have ever stayed. We appreciated that there was only one tv and it was in it's own TV/game room. Lots of games and books. A great place for our three year old. Grandma had her own room and bathroom downstairs which was great for all. We would recommend without hesitation and hope to stay again.

Great location and very comfortable. Kitchen well supplied and loved the privacy. Our only wish was that the fireplace was functional. We would definitely return. Thank you.

This is a beautiful home, well equipped with everything you could need for a get away. But the biggest attraction for us was the WALL of windows on both sides of the house, lots of light and a stellar view of the deer wandering by, the birds of the pine forest and the ever inquisitive ground squirrels. The night sky was impressive and the QUIET was restorative. A perfect place to relax and recharge.

Perfect for our family and kids. Very close to the pool, walk or ride the bikes. If you need kids bikes you can walk to the rental place.
Kitchen was well appointed.
It is a ways away from the main lodge, but an easy bike ride.

Great location and awesome house! Loved the large windows and privacy on the back deck. Worked great for our family and hope to be back soon

Great spot.

The house was very clean and located in a very, private setting. The kitchen was well stocked which made it easy to feel at home. Future renters should know that the fireplace is for aesthetics only, and the owners don't want you to use it. It takes away from the cozy, warm cabin feel. Otherwise, the home was lovely and would make for a better summer rental, than winter.

Enjoyed a long weekend with multi generation family members, ages 1 to 70+ and ALL had a fun time. We enjoyed TV time in the family room, and appreciated the kitchen, dining and living room for meals. Bedrooms were comfortable and relaxing. Just as the pictures show.

The house is in a great location. It sits back off the main road, walking distance (about 10 mins) to the Glaze Meadow Rec/Pool area. Less than a 10 minute drive from the Welcome Center to the house. The property is wooded in the back, and the neighbors are spread out. Good privacy. The house has A/C, which was a must, large main-room windows. There's just one TV, in the back of the house, not in the main-room. There were some minor maintenance issues (reported) but nothing that spoiled our visit. Overall, a good choice. If you're staying more than a couple of nights and plan on using the house a bunch, be sure to bring more supplies, like dishwasher soap, garbage bags, etc. The provided amount ran out quickly with our group of 7.

Everything perfect. Contemporary design. Well furnished kitchen. Location only few blocks from glaze meadow pool. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

This home had it all - and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. So many amenities from comfortable beds, spacious rooms and natural light to useful kitchen appliances, board games and more. Excellent location - super close to GMRC. Bike trails were accessible for the entire family... we enjoyed riding several times a day. We also had an opportunity to enjoy tennis together with my parents, and our kids (elementary school age) took lessons every morning. Everything was high quality and family oriented.
Susan J. Jul 2017
Everything was great. We had one issue with the oven but someone was out to fix it within 10 minutes. We loved the house's location. Near pools and very private. We would stay again.

Thank you!

We were very impressed with this house. It was in great condition and very comfortable. We enjoyed the natural light, flow of the house, and comfortable furnishings. The back deck was great to relax on in the evenings. We also enjoyed the close proximity to the Glaze Meadow Rec Center and pool. It was a very nice facility and our son loved the wading pool and splash pad. We also enjoyed exploring Black Butte Ranch. The new Lakeside building/pool was beautiful and had lovely outdoor seating next to the lake with a great view of the mountains. Overall this was a great home and location - our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! We look forward to returning in the future.

Exactly as advertised
Very comfortable

Lovely home with all the necessities. Beautiful view of the woods and wildlife (deer, birds, and squirrels). Would stay there again.
Jay B. May 2017
We were disappointed by the layout of the home. While some may not be a fan of the smallish "master' on the main floor, we found the tv room to be the most annoying.

It was originally designed to be a garage, and has been converted into a media/game room. The sound system is nice, but ultimately you are forced to sit in a darkish room with virtually no windows to enjoy the view.

While there is a window that does have a view of fenced in bike storage and air conditioner, we feel that that type of information should be in the home listing.

Additionally, the entrance to the room is a swinging door adjacent to the kitchen that is perpetually propped open. It was awkward to move about the house, and communication between family members was uncomfortable during our stay.

The kitchen is well equipped but the dishware may kindly be described as "rustic". There are many bicycles, none that are kid sized and all in need of some maintenance. The necessary adjustment tools were impossible to find.

There are many positive reviews for this home, so please take our feedback with a grain of salt. We just happen prefer an open great room gathering area, and found that this house was not set up that way.

This was a lovely place to stay at Black Butte, but be warned the fireplace is not in working g order.
Mark J. Feb 2017
We loved the house, layout and the fact it was well appointed. The kitchen was especially nice with everything we needed.

A bit over priced but a nice place.
Vicki J. Oct 2016
this home is lovely. The first thing we noticed when walking into the home were the large picture windows framing the pine forest outside. The home was cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was very well stocked with pans and utensils . The property was in a great location and a good spot to begin our walks and bike rides. We always looked forward to returning to this home to unwind, read or watch movies. It's a great home and we highly recommend it to anyone.

I highly recommend this distinctive home located on a large, quiet private lot at the end of a long driveway in scenic Black Butte Ranch. The vaulted living room features a dramatic 2 story river rock fireplace and 2 walls of floor-to-ceiling windows through which you'll gaze and daydream, with soothing views through the pines into the adjoining National Forest. Loved seeing occasional visits by families of deer passing quietly through their natural habitat. That incredible view is also the backdrop for dining either inside or outside on the large deck, the menu unlimited with a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen and gas BBQ. After dinner, there's a full range of DVDs, games, internet access and cozy places to curl up with a good book. Quality furnishings, interiors and artwork throughout speak to the owner's apparent care for their guests. I'm putting this comfortable home, in such a peaceful and relaxing setting, on our keeper list of vacation destinations to enjoy in all seasons year-round.

Nice bright home with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen.

This is a very nice property and is stone-quiet at night! The kitchen is well stocked with cookware. The TV room has lots of movies, and there is a good selection of music in the cabinet near the dining table (stereo is a bit tough to locate!). About the only drawback is there isn't an obvious master bedroom. The room downstairs is the only one with attached bath, but only has one sink/faucet and the bed is queen-sized. One room upstairs is large and has the king bed, but no attached batch (and it too is only a single).
Heidi S. Jun 2016
This is a lovely, comfortable and well appointed home. The windows offer a great view of the forest and the occasional deer :)
The kids loved how close we were to the pool and the husband liked the close proximity to the golf course.
We can't wait to book it again.
Thanks for sharing your great house :)

We had a wonderful time but the hot water heater was not turned on when we got there and we had to call maintenance to come and find the breaker for it to get it on. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and felt very comfortable. We would love to come back here again.
