What a terrific home for vacation! A quiet porch to sit and read and have dinner outdoors too. Comfy couch and lounge chair with a good TV and Direct TV. The kitchen was a marvel, we had everything we needed to cook our meals in that we enjoy so. Comfortable bed with all the creature comforts. A good shower with really, really hot water. It was our retreat after hours and hours of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park with the park entrance 10 min away. Lake estes was 5 min away and downtown Estes 10 min away. Can we buy this property, I would.

I had to wait a while to write down my first experience with VRBO.
I was so angry I didn't want to have my phone in my hands. I know I pressed for 2 days at 89 dollars a night. the initial stay was 2 days. The system kicked it back to 1 day. Why because this property owner thinks 150 for one night is appropriate for Sunday night. While the local econmy is around 80 to 130. After booking it I questioned the charges and discussed it over the phone. She was very polite in explaining the charges. But was unable to do anythingfor us. This felt like a set up,as if this hase hapend before so thy put in a middle man that takes all the heat and do nothing. I feel that the owner fee was a hidden charge. I took the initial charge as a 2 day rental with tax and fees. Nope, I did not look carefully and I passed up the one-day cut back with the excessive owner charge. Lessons learned on my part. I will never ever use VRBO again. Just bassed on the charging system. The experience only got worse from there.
The apartment did not have even close to the views presented in the post. The creeky unlevel floor was difficult for my wife to maneuver with an injured leg. The apartment was 50 degrees when we arrived. And the heater rattled and ran most of the night just to maintain 68 degrees. The bed is bent in the middle. So it hurt our backs and we did not get a good night's sleep. The extra cost of 265 $with tax. For one night when we expected 89$ per night. So maybe 200 for 2 nights. We hade to use the stove and dishes to make up the extra hotel cost. As we had to cook all our food instead of going out to eat.
We rented a DVD but the DVD player did not work.
The fireplace is fake to the point it is made of cardboard and balsa wood.
It took me wrestling with the jammed window for 30 min to crack open the window.
Charging 130$ for cleaning then leaving instructions that the customer is REQUIRED! to leave the apartment as clean as it was found. Does that sound like an appropriate business? Why am i being forced to pay for what is expected of me to do?
My wife got sick from the excessive pot smell coming from next door. I'm waiting for an extra charge on my cc blaming us. We don't smoke pot.
The kitchen was nice. With all the needed utensils.
There was a Keurig but only tee kay cups. The tee tasted auful. It might have been expierd. We normaly like tee.
The cable tv worked after we put our own batteries in the remote.
We appreciate receiving such a thorough review. We will check the DVD player to ensure it is working and inspect the windows as well. We are sorry to read you did not have a better stay, in general, and will keep your words in mind moving forward. Thank you!

Nice room. Very comfortable and clean.
Bill C.Sep 2019
The Condo was clean and neat. All the necessary household items were there for our use. The only issue we had was that it was a very warm time of year and the A/C was not working. Used fans which were available in order to try to stay cool enough to sleep at night.

This condo was even better than expected -- with no disappointments for the location, size and amenities. A sweet value!

It was a quick drive to downtown Estes. The place was clean and nice, felt like a home and not a hotel room. Bed was comfortable and warm. Over all a very nice place to stay and was a very good price.
Jeffery R.Nov 2018
Watching deer and elk from the porch...was amazing!! Overall, a nice place to stay and very clean!! Things to improve upon are lighting in the bathroom, nook and TV needed in the bedroom.

Greg F.Oct 2018
The location was very convenient to all of Estes and RMNP and just across the road from the golf course where we could see elk each and every day. Recommended positive.

Very quiet location. Fully equipped space for a weekend trip. Didn’t use much in the kitchen , but looked like it has everything you need to cook at home.

Upstairs unit in rear of complex, quiet and a good stay. We saw elk the second morning out our window and I got pictures of them from the balcony.

Candance F.Aug 2017
Great location. Close enough to everything yet far enough away for peace and quiet. The barbecue grill was an added bonus.

This is a comfortable, extremely clean, well-furnished condo. Great location with a nice deck to have morning coffee or watch the stars at night. We would definitely stay here again!

ZENGIAO Q.Jun 2017
The property accommodates 4 persons at most: a queen bed, a sofa bed in living room, with full kitchen, washer and dryer. It has almost everything we need (did a mention a humidifier would be great?). It's close to the town and the National Park, very quite neighborhood. It is a great place to stay for a family and friends. I strongly recommend to everyone.
Sharon K.Jun 2017
We truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was perfect for us. We traveled as a couple.
HAREESH J.May 2017

We throughly enjoyed staying at this location! Very clean and cozy yet enough space for the two of us! Great location relative to town and RMNP! Would definitely recommend!
Linda S.Sep 2016
Very attractive, spacious and quiet. Our deck looked out over a quiet area. A good idea to request it. We lucked out - could have looked out over a street or parking lot.
Yuxuan L.Sep 2016
We spent 2 days at this property in September. Evrything was good except the location is a bit far from downtown. Clean and inviting rooms. Easy access to the RMNP.
Andrew C.Sep 2016
I was in Estes (two nights) for a conference, which was right down the road. It was nice to be away from the conference hotel and at the same price (when I chose to stay). The condo was exactly as advertised and pictured.
Marlan P.Sep 2016
This condo is an upstairs unit that is very clean, and adequately furnished with most everything that you would need if you wanted to cook. The sofa sleeper wasn't the most comfortable for us to sit on being sixty five years of age. Climbing the stairs can be an issue if the altitude bothers you. The bathroom vanity is very small. Overall it is a nice condo.
Mary N.Sep 2016
This is a nice, although small, condo in a good location. It was fun to see a couple of deer just behind the complex one morning! We like being away from the noise and traffic of downtown.
Kurt V.Aug 2016
Nice cozy little place. Clean, quiet, easy access to town and national park. You can't beat Estes and RMNP. Came back to condo from hiking on Sunday to be greated by a huge male elk laying 30 feet from the front door...very cool!
Spas K.Aug 2016
We had overall great experience. The place really felt like home away from home. It is cozy and everything is provided. You just need to make a trip to the grocery store and you are home after a long day of hiking. We would definitely come back here and recommend it to everybody that is interested in vacationing in this lovely Rocky Mountains town.
Kathy S.Aug 2016
We loved our stay in Estes Park. We hiked, shopped, played mini golf at Tiny Town and we went River Rafting. We were also pleased with our accommodations.

Had everything we needed, close to town.
Julie G.Jul 2016
We enjoyed the estes park area. Check out the views from the tram ride and lilly lake. They were beautiful!
Stacy R.Jul 2016
No issues with the reservation, checkin, etc. It was nice to have a "home away from home."
Yogesh L.Jul 2016
Good, clean condo and easy access to RMNP. It was also very quiet even tough it is not a standalone house. No AC and it does get hot in July/August. But, fans and open window will suffice
Jennifer E.Jun 2016
This super clean & cute condo was perfect for our family of 4. Loved the deck. Only feature missing is a hot tub! Please note that it is not walking distance to downtown Estes but that didn't matter to us.
