Sleeping up to eight travelers, this crisp, clean Groveland cabin brings the beauty of Northern California right to you, along with all of the essentials to ensure you feel right at home.
Set just 25 miles from Yosemite National Park in the Pine Mountain Lake community in quiet Groveland, you'll have access to a refreshing lake, shared tennis courts, a golf course, seasonal pool, and hiking trails throughout. Although there's no doubt much of your time will be spent exploring awe-inspiring Yosemite, with so many activities within the community, everyone will stay happily occupied even during downtime.
This newer two-story home doesn't need any extra frills, and yet is perfectly and simply decorated to create a welcoming atmosphere to spend quality time with loved ones.
There are plenty of spaces to spread out and let smaller groups enjoy their own activities, though you could also gather everyone together in the living room to watch movies on the flatscreen TV and play board games each night. Head out to breathe in fresh air on the balcony or covered patio, or play a game of air hockey after a day of hiking in Yosemite.
Complete with granite countertops, stainless steel major appliances, and add-ons such as a coffeemaker, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster, the vast kitchen makes meals for the entire crew a breeze. Whip up five-course holiday meals in a jiffy with everyone helping, or easily store quick snacks in the fridge to keep everyone replenished in between thrilling activities.
On warm summer nights, dine out on the patio, and when it's a little too cool, light the living room fireplace and take a seat at the dining table for eight to enjoy a meal. More great amenities here include WiFi and a washer and dryer so you can pack extra light.
With four spacious bedrooms, all eight guests will have a comfortable place to rest each night. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and stunning en suite bathroom with a garden tub and separate shower. A queen-size bed is found in the next bedroom, and the remaining two each have a set of twin bunk beds. There is a second full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a half bath on the first floor.
Hop in the car and embark on the short 25-mile drive to Yosemite National Park for a day packed with fun. Hikes and sights you won't want to miss can keep you busy in Yosemite for days! Inspiration Point, The Mist Trail, and Mirror Lake are among the more advanced trails. Some easier hikes for all abilities include Glacier Point, Mariposa Grove for an up close view of the world's largest sequoia, and a hike through the Tunnel Tree. The Lower Yosemite Falls trail is less than a mile long and brings you to the base of the tallest waterfall in North America, or you can hike to the top for some incredible views.
Take a break from hiking through the towering forests to try horseback riding tours, water sports, and even skiing and snowboarding in the winter. And don't forget to stick around town and explore Groveland and see the historic sites through shopping, dining, and museum visits. Winter sports are also abundant here and include skiing and snowboarding at Dodge Ridge Ski Resort (58 miles northeast). And Black Oak Casino is 31 miles south.
With everything you'll need in a delightful vacation rental, this Northern California home is just the ticket for your next family or friend getaway, so book now!

nice place, enjoyed our stay
The house and every was very beautiful lots of space very clean our only issue was that the sink was leaking and one of the bottom rooms water was leaking too from the jacuzzi and it was very cold in the bottom area other then that I really liked the house it had everything we needed
Hello Rigoberto, We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the inconveniences faced during your stay. Our local staff was notified of the leaking water and found no evidence of the jacuzzi leaking. We have had issues with this in the past due to guests overfilling the spa tub upstairs, but this has since been repaired. We encourage guests to reach out and report issues such as this so that our local staff may take immediate action to ensure guest comfort. The downstairs vents were closed off from the heat source. All vents should remain open so that the heat/air system can work appropriately. Our Maintenance Tech will being a thorough inspection to ensure all sinks are operating correctly.
Gorgeous home with lots of space! Fantastic Kitchen space, lots of games and movie options. WiFi worked really well while there, especially with the spotty phone service. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable! Thanks for a great weekend with the family!
Very comfortable and well equipped house, games available. Very quiet area, far away from supermarket. You have to pay an additional condominium fee when entering the area.
Everything was very clean and in good condition and a lovely house. The only issues were the directions were difficult to find from the info that was sent to me; the oven wasn’t working but I was notified via email about that issue and I wasn’t planning on using it anyhow; the top room was extremely hot even though the rest of the house had air conditioning; and a couple of the beds didn’t have top sheets which was uncomfortable. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would rent the home in the future when visiting Yosemite Park.
This is a terrific home for Pine Mountain Lake, which I know quite well. The house is as beautiful as it shows in the pictures and a very good value. Some minor issues -- The kitchen should be better stocked with some spices (salt, pepper, cayenne, seasoning salt, meat rub) to help you avoid an extra trip to the store. Sugar was provided but it seems that may have been left over from the previous rental. The kitchen also needs a few more cooking implements (a normal size spatula, a few more bowls for mixing and presentation of food) and a few more plates, cups and wine glasses. Also, the drier needs to be fixed/replaced as it makes a lot of noise. These were all minor issues and I give this house five stars because of how beautiful it looks and how well it is maintained. I will most certainly stay here again.
We are glad to see this guest was happy overall with their rental. Vacasa does not require their owners to provide kitchen staples, and this owner prefers to minimize food stock to avoid ant issues. We do plan on restocking the kitchen as soon as possible, though the dryer will not be replaced at this time. Thank you!
My six year old and ten year old loved the tub. The home layout is open and very spacious. The deck is nice too. Everything was great.
The home was beautiful. If the house would have been cleaned it would have been so much better.
House was so big & nice. We had a very comfy stay. Just took us a few minutes getting in the house when we arrived coz the door code lock emailed to me is wrong. Overall, this house is really great for big groups.
Lovely home in a resort area. Home is well kept and well furnished. Enough dishes and cookware to eat in if desired.
Lots of deer and wild turkeys in the area.
Air hockey table was a nice surprise.
Upstairs bedroom has 3 twin beds
Master has a king
Downstairs bedrooms have a queen and two twins.
You have to get your parking pass from Vacasa office in Groveland. You have to enter the private community through the main gate every time. You can leave through side gates though.
Washer and dryer are old and take a long time to dry your clothes, but function.
No cell phone service in the area of the home.
No cable tv service but internet is provided along with Netflix and Amazon Prime in addition to a bunch of DVDs and Bluerays.
The fireplace was great. Heated up the whole place!
Property was in excellent condition. Everything needed was there. Easy booking process. Would definitely use VACASA again
The cabin is so clean, crispy clean sheets, and very comfortable. No noises, the deers are always close by to see from the cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our breakfast, lunch and dinner. The fridge also makes ice for your favorite drinks. Kids friendly and I'll definitely come here again. This place is so convenient to stay if you are planning your Yosemite trip.
Groveland was a quaint community. This property was very nice. If we had hot water and at least one hairdryer we would have given a much higher rating!
We sincerely apologize the hot water heater pilot light went out prior to guest arrival. We were able to fix it the next day after the guest's late night arrival. A hair dryer has been added to the home for guest use. Thanks!
The house is very beautiful ,clean and locate in very good area.
The community is safe and peaceful.
we had a great experience there.
This was the 4th time that we have stayed in Groveland and this was probably the best and most updated home we have stayed in. It was very comfortable for our family of 8.
Great stay at PML. House is newer and very clean. Great for larger families. Need some A/C upstairs. Other than that the house is perfect.
The place was a great place to stay. There were only four of us so we had ample space. I think it would fit 8 nicely. The kitchen has the bare minimum of basics and you may want to bring along some knives because the knives available were dull and there was only 2 cooking knives. The internet was a little slow, but those are my only two complaints. The place was big, they had games available, it was clean, the airconditioning was heavenly and the raised deck with a grill was a great place to have dinner!
I would definitely recommend people visiting Pine Mountain Lake to stay in this property. Very welcoming, peaceful and relaxing ....
Pine Mountain Lakes area is very nice and about 1 hour from the Yosemite Valley Floor.
Great community and very comfortable house. Would stay again !
Great cabin. Beautiful location, lots of deer and other wildlife. Easy drive to Yosemite.
Mule Deer Cabin is a lovely cabin in a beautiful setting. We had everything we needed to be comfortable enjoy our stay.
It was a wonderful home and we really liked the place.
The home has a very nice layout with the living room, dining and kitchen feeling open. The fireplace is beautiful and provides much coziness to the living room. The furnishings are new and in good condition. However, a renter should be aware that there are no TV channels available; you must be a subscriber to Netflix or bring your own CDs if you want to watch any movies. This should be made clear in the online description. For the pricey rental fees, we felt at the minimum, cable TV channels should be provided. We also felt the linens provided should be of a higher quality due to the priciness of the rental rate. All in all, we were happy with our stay.
We apologize if the lack of cable caught this guest off-guard; cable is not advertised for this home.
Nice size house with great deck with views of the forest, house needs to be fished properly!
The house is very nice and looks like new. It is on a quiet street which is good for taking walks. We were disappointed there is no TV reception.
Great family vacation. Pine Mountain Lake has wonderful facilities for lots of family fun. Very friendly staff. Good location for a visit to Yosemite.
We came here to visit Yosemite. It was about an hour's drive from the house to Yosemite Valley, so we were gone most of each day. The house is very nice and is upscale. There were only 4 in our party, but the house would probably comfortably hold twice that number. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood. We cooked there several times and had our meals on the back deck. Lovely views and there are several deer that are out back most evenings. It was a great place and we highly recommend it. We will stay again if we get back that way.
The house was extremely nice. Plenty of room for a large family or even multiple families. It looks almost new with very high end materials. The entire Pine Lake area was also great. It was just very peaceful (and safe as there is a security entrance staffed 24*7) Very few cars pass by on the street to the property, no highway noise so the deck is a great place to relax. The lake and beach area is near perfect in the summer. Lot of things to do... boat rentals etc. If you want to unwind, this is the place. It's also about 1.5 hrs. from Yosemite Valley if you want to visit. There is a small grocery store close by, a bit pricey but probably everything you would need including fresh fruits and vegetables.
Awesome home and community to launch day trips from. The home is well laid out and enough room for up to eight. The master suite is way comfortable. The lake was great and refreshing after a day of hiking or caving. Bring floats for the lake and day trips. The restaurant at the lodge was really good. Things to look up and try:
1. Rainbow Pool - cliff jumping / jumping over a water falls / swimming - bring a raft and spend a day.
2. Sonora Day Trip well worth it especially if you use the Priest Grade Road up and down the mountain.
3. If you head down check out Moaning Cavern - rappel down into the cave then check out Natural Bridge Trail and water hole.
Anytime we go to Yosemite we would look at this property first.
Family and guests had a good time. Lack of phone connection in the area is the only negative.
