Cozy house in downtown, nearby skiing and beach access!

Make your next vacation a special one by staying at this cozy house in Sandpoint. With a large yard and a convenient downtown location with skiing and beach access, up to eight guests will have a pleasant time here!

Sitting less than one mile from charming downtown Sandpoint and close to the bike path, you'll have plenty of dining and shopping opportunities, as well as recreation and waterfront at the Sandpoint City Beach Park. In winter, skiing at Schweitzer Mountain Resort is about 12 miles away. Utilize the local public transportation - the bus stop is close by!

The house itself has a very cozy atmosphere with modern decor to make you feel at home right away. The wood floors are taken from the historic La Clede Train Station! Take a seat on the furniture in the living room for a pleasant conversation, read a book in the rocking chair, or watch a DVD on the flatscreen TV - there's a small movie library, as well as internet for streaming your own Netflix account. Better yet, gather everyone together for a board game and share some laughs.

Around the corner, the room opens up into the kitchen and dining area. Up to eight will fit easily around the dining table while four more can sit on stools at the breakfast bar. A spacious kitchen lets you cook all your favorite meals, with all the essentials as well as a slow cooker, waffle iron, coffeemaker, and dishwasher so you can make special breakfasts and save time on cleanup.

Step outside into the large gated yard to run around, play games, and grill up tasty food on a gas grill to enjoy at the patio table. After dinner, stoke up some flames in the firepit and make some s'mores!

Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms allow up to eight guests (six adults maximum, please) to sleep here comfortably. One bedroom downstairs has a queen bed while the other room has a king bed and a twin bed. Upstairs is another bedroom featuring a queen and a twin bed. There is also a twin pull-out ottoman if guests would like to spread out. Laundry is easy to take care of with a private washer/dryer. Keep ski boots warm and dry with a boot warmer, and store your gear in the gear storage.

This house is perfect for a family or a group of friends - wake up early for a big breakfast or grab coffee on your way out to spend the day on the lake. You might enjoy kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, or swimming in the calm lake waters, or rent a jet ski to satisfy your need for speed. A playground, sports courts, sand volleyball pits, and a swim area make Sandpoint Beach City Park a fun hang-out for the whole group! Wine tastings, breweries, and various shops and grocers are a short drive away. Visit the library just two blocks away, or hit a local hiking trail within 10 minutes of your front door. Bowling and movie theaters are close at hand.

In winter, head up to the slopes at Schweitzer Mountain Resort to make the most of snowy weather, or take out your snowshoes and Nordic skis. A fun day can be spent at the Silverwood Theme Park, just 30 miles away, where everyone will find a thrill to remember.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this adorable home with historic touches. The furnishings and decor is trendy but welcoming, the kitchen was stocked with all you need to cook a meal or bbq and sit around the fire pit, there was even a welcome gift and card to make you feel like a wanted guest. We enjoyed an evening putting a puzzle together and a morning of sleeping in with the comfy beds and heading to the Saturday farmers market nearby. We even unexpectedly had to stay an extra night and our contact graciously did the work to extend our stay one more night. We would be more then happy to return to this lovely home and friendly town.

Loved the location and setup of this home. Easy to get to everywhere we wanted to be, while allowing for enough distance that the trains were not a nuisance at night. We would stay here again.

Sandpoint Station Guest House is well stocked and comfortable, in a great location close to everything. It was a perfect home base for our northern Idaho adventures!

I loved the cuteness of the house. But it had a carpenter ant problem, which they were in my pants and bit me. No A/C, very warm in the house. Thissel were in the backyard so my kids couldn't play in the grass. Great location though.

The house is very well thought out with extra cups, blankets, books, cooking items, etc. We loved the firepit! It is close to downtown and the mountain. The house was very clean and in order. We felt right at home. Thank you so much!

Nice place for a single family with kids. We had another couple traveling with us and the 2nd bathroom was not adjoining and had to walk around the kitchen to get to their bathroom. I think this place is ideal for a one family with multiple kids. My son liked having his own space in the loft. The master bedroom was tight to walk around the bed. The second bedroom did not have any drawer or closet space so they used the kitchen pantry shelves for their clothing storage space.

This place was perfect for a long weekend girls getaway. There were 3 of us but there’s plenty of room for more. Clean and well stocked and very well maintained. No problems with WiFi even when all three of us were using it. I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sand Point Idaho. This was a roomy little house with and all the amendities. Well stocked kitchen and beautiful back yard. It is centrally located, although on a busy street. It was well maintained and very clean. The beds were comfy. Would stay here again. Appreciated the fact that pets were not allowed.

Great backyard, handy location.

We rented this fairly late to attend the Festival. It had a great layout for our party. Spacious kitchen and great backyard. It was warm, but they had a great fan system set up for our arrival!
Kris C. Jul 2017
The house is amazing but they should let you know its on a main hwy. The only air is upstairs and opening the window is hard because it is loud so sleeping is tough. Also not all the windows and non of the doors have screens so a cross breeze is hard. They should put a screen on the back door to help cool the house down in the evening.

Second time in three months at this property. Love it. Will return again.
Teresa L. Apr 2017
The house was well equipped, comfortable and as described. There was plenty of space for our family of four. We stayed here for a spring ski trip to Schweitzer Mountain. Good proximity to the hill and nearby stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again:)

Great house with all that you need.

Michael G. Jan 2017
We really enjoyed our stay. The home is comfortable, downtown Sandpoint is a short drive away, and the ski slopes are close too. Thank you - we had a very good time.

Very comfortable and cozy bungelow just outside of downtown Sandpoint. Stayed there with wife and three teenage kids for 3 days of skiing at Schweitzer. More than enough room for all. Very clean with spacious, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Beds were all her comfortable. Would stay again without hesitation when comparing to most local hotels which can be noisy, drafty and inundated with wet floors when it is snowing. Large backyard, quiet neighbors. They even shoveled the walkways after 6 inches of snow fell one night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
