Newly-Built, Lake-View Getaway with Firepit and Bikes - 1 Mile from Beach

Lakeview Dunes' luxury is your family's launching point for exploring the Oregon Coast by hike, bike, or drive. A mile's proximity to the beach and views of Sunset Lake, as well as your own private patio and firepit, will have you feeling at home in the Pacific Northwest.

During your stay here, you'll enjoy quick access to Sunset Beach and other coastal charms minus the crowds of the nearby towns. The center of Warrenton is about five miles north, with bustling Astoria just a few miles farther. Hike trails in Fort Stevens State Park a short drive away, or check out the Peter Iredale shipwreck and the other historic sites the area offers. Golfers will want to check out the Astoria Golf & Country Club, especially since the clubhouse is within walking distance to the north.

With hardwood floors and window lighting fit for a magazine, this newly constructed house, which sleeps seven, elevates any vacation. Catch a view of secluded Sunset Lake out your living room window, where you're walking distance from Sunset Lake Park and a short drive (or ride, using the rental's pair of bikes) from beach waves.

Lakeview Dunes' firepit and private patio set the scene for summer nights under the stars, while the living room's fireplace keeps your winter weekends cozy. Try your hand at preparing fresh local seafood in the full kitchen, featuring sleek stone countertops and a dishwasher. The whole family will enjoy the home's two TVs, cable, free WiFi, and all-ages games.

Don't miss out on this contemporary Oregon Coast home, where the sand and sea are waiting to charm you!

As advertised. Clean, good location, well-equipped.

My family LOVED this home. It was so beautiful and clean. The perfect amount of space for my family of five. It's location was amazing for us to visit both Astoria and Seaside as it's located in the middle of both.
The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and great for a family walk. We will definitely stay again!

We stayed two nights (myself, my elderly mother, a teen and a tween), and this was the perfect home base. Easy to get to Astoria and Ft Stevens, as well as Seaside and Cannon Beach.

The king bed was very comfortable, and there were different types of pillows to choose from on the king and queen beds. The double twin room has blackout curtains, which is nice if you have little ones sensitive to sleeping when there’s light outside. It’s a newer house, and very clean. Everything worked as it should. The ping pong table in the garage was a great way to spend some time laughing with the kids. Plenty of towels, extra blankets, even a couple fans if you like the white noise. Very quiet neighborhood. My youngest was thrilled to see a huge herd of elk grazing on the neighboring golf course.

House big, well equipped. Games and passes. Kitchen great to work in.

This place was great! Great area and a fully stocked home! We stayed for the weekend and although I was l t able to have a late check-out, it was an amazing home with a view to the lake and a grill outside. It’s was great, we will definitely go back.

The 4 of us stayed in this home for 2 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the home. It was clean and comfy. We loved the little extras like a hair dryer in the bathroom, extra towels and blankets. The kitchen was furnished with pots and pans and dishes. We'd come back and stay. There are 2 TV sand even a ping pong table in the garage.

Nice and private. For the cost of the home, I feel you should at least have a Tv service provider or at least local channels.
Jonathan S. Aug 2021
The house was spacious and had good options for sleeping, cooking, recreation. However, when we checked in the front and backyard were very bushy and overgrown compared to the listing photos. One of the shared bathrooms also had a clogged shower drain.
Manager response:
Hello Jonathan, We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We have forwarded the issues over to the local management for follow up.

Perfect for 2 families. Light, airy and well decorated. Great weekend getaway.

It was a little difficult to find, but was WELL WORTH IT. Comfortable beds, great fireplace, it was just perfect for our quick vacation to the Astoria area.
Carrie & Steve H. Dec 2019
It was clean, quiet and beautifully furnished with comfy beds and fine linens and towels.
Jon M. Sep 2019
The house was great. Everything we needed for the trip. Plenty of room for everyone.
Lynn H. Sep 2019
We loved the layout and the way the home was decorated. Very close to the beach. We didn’t love the cobwebs, spiders, broken ice machine or non sliding screen door.
Manager response:
Hi Lynn, thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to report that we have addressed the issues you mentioned. We hope to host you again soon!

...and location, but little things happened. The TV in main room was an issue, and someone came out to fix it...but the problems remained. Screen door slider was constantly stuck; seems like supplies were being rationed...we bought toilet paper; only three trash bags located in kitchen (at bottom of trash basket); no wine glasses (so we bought six and left them for others) I said, little stuff we don't encounter in other rentals. But as I also said, love the house and the location for what we do. And we will reserve it for next year's trip.
Manager response:
We are happy that you enjoyed your stay! We have since fixed the cable issues in the home. We provide a starter pack of supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. After that, we ask that our guests provide their own. Thank you for your feedback, we hope to host you again soon!

It was really clean and a great home to have a family vacation.
Linda H. Apr 2019
We loved the house. It was immaculate, well-supplied and comfortable. Its location near Astoria and Sunset Beach allowed us to do the research we were doing and enjoy the sunset on the beach.

Beautiful home, clean, very comfy beds, quiet Neighborhood, close to the beach. I definitely recommend!
Matthew M. Jan 2019
The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our three-night stay with four adults and one child. I was able to hang out comfortably with my three-year-old daughter, while my wife and our friends felt comfortable enough in the space to do their own thing on their own schedules. We used the kitchen extensively and found it well-equipped. The decor was pleasant, bright, and minimal. The house also seemed much larger in real life than it did in the photos.

It was a bit of a walk to the beach, but other than the vehicle traffic out on the sand, we liked Sunset Beach a lot. Having a view of the lake was nice, and I spent a good bit of time watching all kinds of birds in and around the water. We were also visited by a passing herd of elk during our stay.

The location was great for excursions into Seaside and Astoria, and we never felt like we were at a loss for things to do.

I would definitely stay here again, and would encourage others looking for lodging in the northern coast area to consider it too.

We had an awesome time here we came from out of state to visit grandkids and we had the whole family over for dinner and it was perfect for all of us and the house is great big living room and separate TV room for the kids

It was perfect for a family of four and grandparents. The kitchen was very well equipped to cook all kinds of food. Fred Meyer and Costco right down the road. Easy to visit many beach locations. Beautiful home and quiet neighborhood.
Elsa T. Jun 2018
The house is centrally located for our activities. The owner was very helpful when we were unable to log in the wifi. She came to fix it within 30 minutes. All 5 of us enjoyed the beautiful & roomy house. We will go back again.
Eric C. May 2018
Brand new well appointed house. View of the lake. Secluded neighborhood. Good wifi. Easy access to the beach (<.5 miles via sunset beach). Kitchen is well stocked. More than adequate linens and hotel style soap and shampoos provided. Would definitely stay again.
Joseph W. May 2018
Like the proximity to Astoria Golf Club and the lake view. The place was clean and well furnished.
Lorrie K. Mar 2018
Our second stay at this house. It is beautiful, comfortable, and kid friendly. We love it. We will be back again and again.
Veronica W. Feb 2018
We spent a very enjoyable holiday weekend at this rental house. Everything was so immaculate and new that it seemed like we were the first guests to stay there. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. On top of that, I received an email ahead of our trip notifying me that the house would be available for our arrival at 11am instead of 4pm.
AMANDA S. Sep 2017
My family of 5 along with my parents stayed here for a weekend in September. It was the perfect space for us. Everything is clean and new. Our boys had their own room with two twin beds and our daughter slept in her portable crib in the spacious closet in the master bedroom. There was a pull out bed in the den but we didn't even need it. Definitely a place we would stay at again if ever in the area.
Linda & William W. Aug 2017
The house was perfect for our family! We used the front office room as the play room, but it could have been another bedroom, had we needed the space. The beds were so comfy! The great room was filled with laughter and chatter the whole weekend! Kitchen had everything we might need to prepare a feast for our hungry bunch, with a Costco and Safeway close by! We appreciated the washer and dryer, after spending time at the beach! It was close enough, (about a 15 min. drive) to Seaside and, (10 minutes) to Ft. Stevens State Park.
