December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. April through June brings stunning wildflower displays along the bluffs and throughout Gualala Point Regional Park. The warmest months run June to September. Coastal fog is common early in the day but gives way to sunshine by afternoon.
Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected. You may see whales or even bald eagles soaring over the Gualala River.
