There's an 18-hole golf course designed by Ted Robinson (with the front nine on the lakeshore, the back nine in the wooded hills), a marina on the lake, five tennis courts, a basketball court, several parks, a library, and miles of hiking trails along the lake and up in the woods. Downtown Bellingham is just nine miles west.
