We made it for our yearly stay (COVID prevented 2020 stay) and we were just as happy as the first time we stayed. We love the sound of the waves, the birds and the ever changing weather. We pull up the chairs and it is like watching the nature channel. I couldn't ask for more.

My friend and I booked this place as a spot to relax and take some time off. It was so perfect! The vibe of the cottage was amazing and you can't beat being right on the water. You are able to walk in the afternoons when the tide goes down plus see Mount Rainier on a clear day! This place is 15 minutes from the main downtown area, so you will need to have a car.

We were so pleased by how close we were to the beach and water. The open layout and windows/ glass doors contribute to multiple senses of proximity: salt smell air, breeze, sounds of waves and birds. We saw a sea otter twice and watched a bald eagle eat a fish for breakfast. The views of Rainer during the day, and Seattle lights at night are stunning. The cabin feels storied and I loved the aesthetic and book selection.

Nice little cottage right next to the water. Not fancy but has everything needed for a relaxing weekend stay.

We loved the location right on the water. The sound of the waves at high tide and the views of Puget Sound or Sublime. The feel of the location was very retro and it did not feel like much had changed since the 1950s.

We had a lovely time at this home. Kitchen is bare bones, so make sure to read the description about what’s included. We were surprised to find only 2 small rolls of TP to last 4 people 5 days - when I inquired the operator says there is one roll per bathroom for the stay. There’s only 1 bathroom there but 4 beds so based on how many it can sleep, that was an odd ratio. I didn’t find that info in the listing, so bring extra TP and paper towels if you think you’ll need. We also had a hot water issue one of the days, couldn’t fill the tub but hadn’t run any other hot water appliances. They credited us $25 for the trouble, bc by the next day I could fill the tub but that’s all the hot water I could get for bathing. A door knob also was broken and kept falling out in the bathroom. I’d say the home needs a little TLC and it’s also a bit challenging when the place is run by a corporation vs individual. Even the check out list was generic to Vacasa homes and didn’t apply much to our unit so I had to kinda guess on what to do.

lovely spot, great access to fay bainbridge park. it was just a great little cottage, with all the basics you need. very clean and comfortable.....maybe could use some updated outdoor furniture, but I would rent again in a heartbeat.

Exactly as described! This is a charming little place that is the perfect combination of vintage and comfort. It had everything we needed and there is nothing better than waking up to that view!!

Location of this house is amazing!!! The house itself has potential but needs updating and lacked basic amenities (dishwasher, garbage disposal). Some of the dining room chairs were broken and coffee maker leaked and was barely operational.

We loved the location and unique style of the house. This was very different from what we’re use to. We truly enjoyed it! Although we couldn’t get the WiFi to work even after calling .

Lovely long weekend enjoyed right on the beach. Great for our family with small kids with room to play and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed low tide exploring and watching seals pop up right in front of the house. Kitchen well equipped and it was easy to make all our meals at the house. We would definitely come back to this house on Bainbridge.

Loved our 10 day stay. Huge windows, unique decor and furniture, lots of chairs to lounge inside and outside. Very quiet street and beautiful public beach nearby. The sound of waves and rain were soooo soothing. Loved watching the tides, birds and sea lions. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This is the little "cabin" that could! Very unique and quirky, each room had little surprises. The kitchen was adequate with a large toaster oven that worked well for baking brownies and making toast, plus a cooktop and all the essential pots, etc. The TV was small but we weren't there to watch TV! Heating system, hot water, shower, and mattresses--all good. Views were amazing. If the need or desire arises, would stay again. We had a heavy rainstorm but saw no evidence of leaks despite this place's age/construction. Loved the shiplap!

I rented this home for my 30th birthday with a few close friends and we LOVED waking up to the sound of the water every morning. Such a gorgeous location! Very restful and had everything we needed for a girls getaway.

Once again the cottage was everything we wanted and needed. It was hard to leave. I haven't found a place like this that is so relaxing and restorative. We watched seals, shore birds and sailboats. Eagles flew over and we felt like we were part of nature. We alternated between going out for meals and eating in and we had everything we needed. Love. Love Love.

This is our second stay at the cabin. We love the location and find it hard to leave. We love sitting in front of the window watching the sealions, dophins and shore birds. Not to mention the sailboats and the ever changing clouds.

The beach cottage was a perfect, quiet, get away for our family. We enjoyed getting up early, walking the beach, seeing new creatures (dolphins, otter, seals, sea lion, and birds), and watching the boats go by. Loved the quirky, cozy details of the cottage. We hope to return soon.

Great location, small but spacious and well-laid out- we had a wonderful time here as a family!

We had a wonderful, breezy girl’s weekend in this cabin. It’s comfortable and well appointed. And there seems to be a fun tradition of leaving coins in the crevices. Bainbridge Island has many interesting sites, nice shops, good restaurants. A great place to visit.

The location with it's views of the Puget Sound, Cascades and Olympics is perfect any time of year! At low tide you have fabulous walks on the beach right outside your door. The cottage is both charming and comfortable - great for families or a romantic getaway. You are also just a short walk away from Faye Bainbridge Beach/Park...if you love nature you will love this place!

Perfect getaway home for a quiet visit to the Seattle area. The house is quaint and had plenty of room for our family of five. Great views and shoreline exploring for the kids right out the back door. Loved staying away from the city on beautiful Bainbridge Island with easy access to the city via ferry. Will definitely stay again.
Ann B. Oct 2018
The cottage is well kept, has character, charm, and the best location. It was so peaceful, and such a beautiful setting right on the water. It's 15 min from downtown, and only 10 min to a grocery store. If you are looking for some down time, and a place to enjoy family or friends, this cottage is an excellent choice!

Incredible site between the lagoon and the ocean, miles of stunning view, marine life right outside the windows. Charming vintage cottage, updated and stylish. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. Linens and towels are high quality, the kitchen is well equipped. Check in/out process was very easy. Unique and wonderful property, we would definitely stay again and recommend highly to friends.

This house was amazing, with beautiful views. The owner had everything ready to accommodate my family. We appreciated the house being fully equipped with everything we needed and more! The area was awesome as well. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a comfortable family vacation, the ocean life views were unforgettable

The house is small and rustic with tons of charm and every amenity you could possibly need. Located near the end of Point Monroe Drive in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We watched Seattle's 4th of July fireworks; enjoyed seeing a Harbor Seal lazing around the water in the mornings and even did a little crabbing all from the back deck. I would definitely stay again.
Angela S. Jul 2018
Small, quaint with wonderful views. Would love to stay again.

Spent a weekend there with a family of 5 (17, 14 and 11) and we really enjoyed it. Well stocked with necessities, and very clean. Great views of the lake and walking distance to the park. Would recommend and return.
