Beautiful place

This is the second time we have stayed here in this lovely home. Every little need or necessity has been considered by the owners. The house is lovely and full of calming colors. It has wonderful deck/porch spaces on which you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening libations! The hammock out back is a surprising good times as well. There is no shortage of things to do on and around Seabrook. I would highly recommend this as your next vacation getaway!

We just returned from a great week at this lovely beach home. This house is located mid island, a quick drive or bike ride to the beach. The decor is great and furnishings are very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the large, well furnished back deck. We love to cook and this kitchen is not missing a thing. Plenty of everything! Cookware, table ware, all the gadgets a good cook needs are wants are here. The main bedroom and bath are fantastic. The 2nd bedroom is rather small but still comfortable and doable. The upper bedroom is just as pictured. Who wants to spend all their time in a bedroom anyway when you are on Seabrook Island? Love the house. We will return.

We loved the location of this home....could bike to everything. It was also very clean. We made full use of the kitchen, which is well stocked. The outdoor area is even nicer than the pictures, with a very large seating area and table with a firepit feature.

This was the perfect sanctuary, to be at leading up to our daughter’s wedding! We were all able to relax and be together before her big day!
Ginny E. Nov 2020
The kitchen, especially. Living area very comfortable. The stored blankets need airing out. Smelled musty. Needs more electrical outlets! Very concerned about the uneven floor. Foundation problems, perhaps? Master suite is wonderful. The bed is so comfortable. Other bedrooms super small. In fact, we will outgrow this place very soon because of the boys. All-in-all however, we loved the rental.
Manager response:
Hi, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We appreciate you letting us know about the blankets, we will coordinate with local staff to address this. We hope to host you again soon!
Donald M. Nov 2020
The location was excellent
The 2nd bedrooms mattress should be replaced
Manager response:
Donald, thank you for your feedback about the mattress. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again in the future.

This was a fantastic home while my family stayed and the vacation was great, but the clothes washer and fridge ice maker were broken for our entire stay and they both were not fixed.
Manager response:
Hi, Alexander! We apologize for the appliances that were not working for you and wish you had called for assistance. The ice maker is waiting for a part that's on order and will be repaired as soon as it arrives. Thank you!

House was great! Plenty of room for our family. Enjoyed the back porch. Only problem was the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes. I did report it. We just washed our dishes by hand. Overall great experience!
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Pam! We are glad you enjoyed your visit. We appreciate being notified of the issue concerning the dishwasher. We apologize for this inconvenience, but we are happy to report that a new unit is currently on-order and will be installed upon delivery. We hope to host you again in the future!

This was a clean and refreshing home for the four us (four adults and one toddler) to spend 10 days. My three-year-old loves the bunk bed downstairs. A convenient drive to the beach. Modern amenities with everything we needed at the house. We cooked a lot and really enjoyed that. Walking takes a bit longer — I think for me walking would have taken around 30 min. Taking one star off as cleaning could be more thorough and for those staying longer than three to five nights I would highly recommend swiffer cloths or other things to make cleaning / freshening up easier. I brought some natural cleaning products from home so that helped. House had a swiffer stick.

This well stocked, comfortable house is very private. The large outdoor deck, three full baths, and plenty of sleeping space made for a comfortable break for my family.

We loved staying at this modern, comfortable, well appointed home on beautiful Seabrook Island! We would love to stay there again the house was perfect!
Michol H. Oct 2019
The house is nicely decorated and the neighborhood is quiet.

Great beds, well stocked kitchen, great value, updated decor, and just super cute! Enjoyed our stay very much!
Tambera S. Jul 2019
Nice house, well equipped.
Frank M. Apr 2019
House was awesome. Clean, had everything we needed and more.
MARCIA R. Dec 2018
This is a beautifully decorated home that feels light and airy. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and modern. The kitchen was beautiful and well-stocked. Everything in the house looks like it has been recently updated. There was plenty of space to lounge and relax both inside and outdoors on the large deck. We loved the location on Seabrook Island which is just beautiful. Since Seabrook is not far from Charleston we split our time between seeing the sights in and around the city with spending time walking on the beach and kayaking around Seabrook. We appreciated having access to the gym and indoor pool (note that you have to pay a daily per person guest fee). Freshfields Village near the entrance to Seabrook has a very nice grocery store and a good selection of restaurants and shops. Definitely get breakfast or lunch at least once at Java Java. If you are visiting during the Christmas season be sure to go to the Holiday Festival of Lights in the nearby James Island County Park.

My only recommendation to improve the experience at the house would be to modify the lighting a little. There is LED lighting throughout the house which is OK in most areas but the lamps in the living room need bulbs that are appropriate for reading (something warmer and a bit brighter). The chandelier over the dining room table is way too bright and harsh for dining. Softer, dimmable lighting would be a great improvement.

Great house! We went for fall break and was perfect for our family of 4!
Carre R. Oct 2018
We already love Seabrook. The Island Getaway house had a nice open concept with flexible sleeping arrangements which worked well for our family.

Close to charkeston grat amenties and welk stocked kitchen
Andrew B. Apr 2018
Beautifully appointed house that was bright, clean and very well equipped. If you plan to cook a lot during your stay, everything is here in a large well-planned kitchen, plus there's a large grill on a spacious deck. After visiting Seabrook Island on numerous occasions this might be the best place we've stayed. Its a 10-15 min bicycle ride (pulling a child-laden trailer) to the boardwalk for the North beach, about the same for the beach at Pelican Watch.

It was our second time at the beautiful house. It always feels for us to come home. We felt so in love with Seabrook Island that we are thinking about to move at some point to Seabrook Island. We will come back for sure.

Secured this property for a few days in October through Beth at Beachwalker Rentals. Beth was fantastic from start to finish, and she knows these properties and amenities inside-out because she lives in the area - You Can't Imagine how relieving it is having a knowledgeable rep when coming from out-of-town. Everything as described and more... And the house? Amazing for a 2+2 family, with room for two more if they like to sleep on bunk beds (twin/twin, twin/full). First, the house is near the Seabrook front gate, which worked well for us. Easy key-code entry, open floorplan with chatting possible from great room to kit/bar area to dining. 1st fl master with HUGE en suite has big shower and separate tub. Upstairs has: "homework" area overlooking great room, a full bath, and open entry to bunks area. Add another full bath on 1st (yes, 3 of them!), full-width deck in back, a 2-3 person hammock, 4 HD TV's with reliable cable/sat, strong wifi, and modern kitchen appliances... and you have a house where memories are made. Lest I forget to mention that the owners have impeccably decorated this house with a beach theme - it's straight out of a magazine. Amenities here are A+ : pool, tennis, biking, etc and the beach is prob the best on east coast for walking and shell hunting. A 3-miniute drive takes you to a plaza that has great dining, cute shopping, and a Harris Teeter (grocery). Wholeheartedly recommend this property, and deffo ask for Beth at Beachwalker!

We stayed for 5 days in August - the house is nicely decorated and the kitchen and bathrooms are well-done. I don't know if anyone had been in the house before us for a bit because there was some dust around which led me to think it had been cleaned and no one else had been in it for a while. The house allows pets and there was a bit of a dog smell in the house. That aside, it is a comfortable and really light-filled home. The kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked and with high-end appliances and fixtures. We enjoyed the different beaches (the beach is HUGE at low tide) and also went to the two pool clubs. It is a short drive to either and the island is small and easy to get around.
Ashley G. Jul 2017
We had a wonderful visit to Seabrook and this house made our vacation even better. It was close by bicycle to anywhere on the island and you can even watch the golfer on the 12th hole of the Oaks course.

Nice getaway for the week. House inside is well decorated and clean. Long walk to beach but access to beach club with parking helps greatly. Great house also for our dog as all floor easy to clean.
Zach S. Jun 2017
We are so happy to have chosen 2605 Seabrook as the place for our vacation! The place is beautiful with a large open-layout kitchen, a gorgeous master suite bedroom (containing a luxurious tub and shower) and enough room to sleep plenty! It was immaculately clean and the interior design was light and refreshing. The property sits right on one of the island's golf courses, and has a beautiful outside deck where we ate most of our meals-- it was so peaceful & quiet. The house was perfectly located, being 5 minutes from the beach one way, and 5 minutes from the recreation center, tennis courts, and pool the other way. We would not want to stay anywhere else in SC, and would very much like to come back soon!

My family had a enjoyable week in this lovely home. The home is well equipped and comfortable for our family of 6. We enjoyed all the island had to offer and plan on booking another stay next year!

Our family of 6 and our dog had a wonderful stay on Seabrook Island. The rental was really cute and comfortable for our family. Our teens shared the bunkroom easily, the third shower was helpful! The home entertaining space and master suite were perfect. Seabrook was so dog friendly! We also found our location to be fairly easy to get to the beach/pool, lake house, tennis, horseback riding, paddle with the dolphins, restaurants, grocery and gas. Loved our bike rides! Thank you for opening your home!

Beautiful beach rental in a great location. It is in the middle which is close to both Freshfield Village & the beach. Perfect for a small family with school age or teenage kids! Master is on the main floor and the additional room is upstairs which provides everyone the space they need.
