Very comfortable. Within walking distance to the beach.

Great location for families, easy access to beach, pool and bike trails. Good amount of dishes and service . Great response when I called for help with the dishwasher.
Annette M. Aug 2022
We loved that the house was clean, very comfortable and close to everything you would need..beach, pool, market and deli.

3 things were outstanding in this unit, the location, the master shower, & the Exfinity TV operating system. Unit is close to the pier & pool, which is super nice. About a 10-minute walk to the beach, very convenient. Master shower has 2 shower heads, great for getting all the sand off, after using downstairs outside shower and/or hose. Just talk into the TV Remote & your wishes are granted. All our favorite channels were included.
The Unit is decorated in shabby chic decor, cute. Owners did a nice job. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware & utensils.
There are a lot of glass surfaces, but no Windex. Bring it to avoid smudges on practically every surface. Also, bring towels, as we had 5 people and towels for 4. Only 3 Facecloths. There is also a major issue with the Master Bedroom blind, be advised. It doesn't go up or down. It just stays down.
Still, all 5 of us generally liked the Unit.

There is no door between the shared bath and the little hall. Lack of privacy for sure. There were baby roaches in the dishwasher ever time I opened it- even after it was run. No grill which was disappointing. And the tiny tv in the master was amusing.
Otherwise, furnishings, layout and bedding was all very comfortable and nice. Kitchen was well stocked.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Ashley. We apologize for any issues you experienced with the dishwasher and for any inconvenience it caused. Our local staff is always available to assist you with any issues during your stay if we are notified. We have forwarded your comments to the local staff so they can work with our maintenance team to address this concern. We attempt to be as transparent with our listings as possible and provide accurate and current photos, amenities lists, and descriptions so guests can make an informed choice about what they are paying for and make the right decision for their needs. We encourage guests to reach out with any questions or concerns before booking, as we are happy to help. We hope to host you again.

House was clean, and the location was great. This was our 2nd fall trip staying in this home. I love the proximity to the pool and dock over the Kiawah River to watch sunsets.
Laura C. Aug 2021
Perfect distance from the beach and the pool. The house was clean and the perfect size for our family of 6. We had a great week in Kiawah!
Tessie H. Jul 2021
We had the best time on the Island! Loved the location of the house! Plenty of room for us all and so close to the pool and the sunset views! Easy to get to the beach! Would stay again!

The house was nice and clean. The shower in the master was great! Vacasa was nice and helpful and check in on us to make sure that everything was ok.

Nice, comfortable home. Great location.

Perhaps this house was once very nice but now it is dirty and bug infested. It is sad to have to deal with this on vacation. The Vacasa staff was not kind or helpful.
Manager response:
Hi, Terri! We are so sorry to read you were not happier with your experience. The regime for this neighborhood schedules interior and exterior routine pest control every quarter. We can also ask the vendor to come out the same day, or next, to spray if guests request it. Thank you!
Karen S. Jul 2020
Pleasant furnishings and appliances, very nice master shower and kitchen has sufficient accommodations.
Close to beach and loved the close pier for fishing and sunsets.

We really enjoyed our stay at 12 Inlet Cove. Cottage was very roomy for our family of four. Well stocked kitchen. Loved the outdoor shower to rinse off sand. A few updates would have then received a five star rating from me. Carpets in the bedrooms are very worn and are bunched up in some areas. Walls could use a new coat of paint, many dings and nicks. Had an issue with ants and Vasca sent over an exterminator promptly. Description does state only a starter pack of paper products included. Missed that, so bring some from home (toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher tabs...) if you can. Pool was closed down due to the pandemic, not a huge deal, but wish we had known that ahead of time. Very close to the beach. About a 1/2 mile bike ride to boardwalk one, even closer to the public beach. Kiawah is great and we would stay at this property again if we were to return.

We loved staying at 12 Inlet Cove. The home was clean and updated. Easy walk/bike to Beachwalker Beach.

Nice location, near pool and dock.

We had issues with a broken washer, broken toilet, broken blind and ants. Management company was responsive, but too many issues in a week for vacationers who should be at the beach or on the bike trails of beautiful Kiawah island. There are many lovely places to stay on Kiawah at the same price point that are in better condition.

Manager response:
We are sorry that you experienced issues during your stay. We have replaced the dryer to ensure that our future guests don't have this problem. The blinds and toilet have been fixed as well. We have had pest control come out to this home to make sure that the ants are no longer a problem at the home. Thank you for your feedback!

Nice roomy cottage to accommodate game nights after long day on beach.

Our family of five (three teenagers - 19, 17, 13) absolutely loved this cottage. We felt at home right away (beautiful place) and the location can't be any better. It is a short, pretty walk to the beach and a very short, few minute drive to everything else. Fresh Fields is super close (quaint stores, grocery, restaurants) where we were able to get a basketball, soccer ball and football there, then a minute drive to Night Heron Park that has a really nice outdoor basketball court, four-square court, soccer field, pool, nature center, and gym (we used/did all of that except the pool and had a blast). We took a kayak tour that was fun (just down the road), went nearshore fishing with Captain Brian at the Marina (again, right down the road) where we caught fish we cooked that night, and went to the beach each day. We stopped by Bi-Lo on the way and got groceries, cooked each night at the cottage, and restocked at Harris Teeter a few miles away at Fresh Fields. The kitchen was well stocked with tableware and cooking utensils, so we had everything we needed to prepare a wide variety of foods for a family of five. The washer/dryer was very convenient, and since a couple of us worked out daily at the Night Heron gym and/or ran on the beach, it was great to have right there. The cottage neighborhood area has an awesome, large patio deck with chairs where we watched the sunset each night across the channels and docks - beautiful, and fun to meet and talk to people there. Just an amazing experience and we will be definitely booking this cottage again!

Great location to the pool and easy access to the beach. Master bath really should have a curtain or blind on it for privacy but other than that......fantastic!!!

We couldn't have felt safer on our first stay in this gated community in unit 36 and it was so lovely we decided to return after a couple of days in Savannah. After our stay in unit 36 we found that unit 12 was not quite up to par. The kitchen dishes and flatware fell a little short as we had to either wash dishes or run the dishwasher after two meals. Unit 36 had an amazingly stocked kitchen with service for 12 or more with lovely dinnerware. The ad for unit 12 stated three frying pans but there was only one to be found. It was stainless steel, the bottom was black and our fried eggs turned into scrambled eggs. The unit overall could use some TLC. The cabinets in the kitchen and bath seemed substandard and worn. The walls had marks on them and could use a good cleaning or fresh coat of paint. It appeared the cleaning crew swiped in the kitchen and bath areas as the counter was greasy in the kitchen prompting us to clean before we used it. The appliances, bathroom mirror & sink were smeared as though wiped but not cleaned. Unit 12 did provide a very nice stackable washer & dryer which was appreciated. There was poison sumac growing onto the porch. The shared pool area was lovely with both outdoor & screened areas and walkway leading to the dock where we watched a dolphin at low tide. There is a private beach but it is currently closed for renovation.

We loved our stay at 12 in the cove for a long weekend! Very comfortable and very clean, also enjoyable was the proximity to the pool and community dock for fishing and crabbing. We will recommend to friends and family.

The island of Kiawah itself was amazing. As bike shop owners, we really looked forward to some carefree cycling with our kiddos, aged 3, 7, and 10. You can't ask for better paths and beach riding. The Inlet Cove community was great for our older two to cruise around with other kids staying in the surrounding homes. We also loved taking day trips into Charleston. Highly recommend Patriot's Point and touring the ships and the Vietnam Experience there, as well as Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. The home was the perfect size and always felt happy to come back to. While the beach was a bit farther away than anticipated, it was perfect. Clean bathrooms, nice little snack shack. The community pool was great. Beautiful setting.

Beachwalker was so helpful when we were trying to find a last minute vacation place! This home is so great! The updates are so nice. Beautifully decorated. Very nice unit. The perfect fit for us with the three bedrooms. It's just a very short walk to the pool, which we loved for our kids! Inlet Cove is so peaceful. The pool is very nice too. The kids also LOVED fishing on the dock. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is fantastic! The house was recently renovated and was absolutely beautiful! We loved the converted screened in porch, the beautiful kitchen and the bathrooms. The owners thought of everything and the kitchen was well stocked and notes to explain everything from the washer and dryer to the tv controls. We would definitely stay there again!
