Had 2 couples with children in this home. It was an overall fine stay. Like the location being close to the park and close to town. The description of an older home was accurate, however the furnishings also just felt old and broken. There wasn't much ease of use in the home as I would hope for with a vacation rental. Overall it was fine for what we needed.

Excellent place to stay. Cosy, quiet, spacious, good for families with children. Great location near Rocky Mountain National park.

This location was perfect for having walking access to downtown (no need to battle for parking). The home itself was neat, clean, and perfectly set up for our family. Just 2 complaints:
- the top bunk of the bunk bed didn’t have a rail to prevent falling, so our kiddo didn’t want to sleep up there
- the listing said there was a dish washer. However, it was not hooked up to water in/out, and the plug was incompatible with the outlet, so it was unusable. (It is also in the garage/basement, making access a little inconvenient.). Not having a dishwasher isn’t a problem, but it would be good to update the listing or make the dishwasher usable.
Manager response:
Hi, Jeanmarie! There is not currently an available dishwasher for this home; we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you!

We loved the location. A very short walk to down town and short drive to hikes and the Rocky Mountain national park

The home is just as advertised. It is in a great location. Plenty of space.

Small and cozy. Great for small family or small group of friends. You can bring your dog. They have all sorts of plates and bowls to use. Love it Bc we would eat a variety of foods that would need a variety of plating. Right in downtown and was closed walking distance to all the stores and restaurants.

Great location!

The only thing good about this place was the location.
House is so outdated with old carpets and flooring. Stains on ceilings, no ac, and no airflow to cool the place off. Smelled so old in there. You can find much better properties for the price of this one. Look out for all the extra fees
Manager response:
Hi! Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that the home was in this condition upon your arrival - please know that this is not the regular standard for our properties. We attempt to be as transparent with our listings as possible and provide accurate and current photos, amenities lists, and descriptions so guests can make an informed choice about making the right decision for their needs! We encourage guests to call our 24 hour Guest Service line to alert us with the issues while in the home so that we can promptly rectify the situation. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future.

The cottage was very comfortable and clean. Loved how it was so close to town. Missed not having air conditioning but nights cooled off nicely. Also missed there was no washer and dryer after it was advertised. Would still stay again.

As others said, it’s dated, but in a great location. Bedroom layout was perfect for us. Kitchen had everything we needed, lots of towels and extra sheets too. Right above a location with food trucks and easy access to either Beaver Meadows or Falls River entrances to the park.

super cute place, loved it!

Very clean and in a great location. Walking distance to anything downtown. Rocky Mountain National Park is 15 minute drive. House is older but everything worked correctly. Minor detail but gas grill needs to be cleaned.

Close to downtown EP with an easy walk to shops.
Clean. Comfortable beds with memory foam mattress toppers.
Carpet is old.

Home was older but it was clean and taken care of. It did smell like an old home upon arrival and needed airing out. The beds were comfortable and enough clean towels and linens are provided. The location is perfect right on town and walking distance to everything. Suggestions for the owner would be to check the stove, only a couple burners worked, the instructions say to put dishes in the dishwasher but there wasn’t one so we just left the dishes cleaned set out to dry, only one key was provided in a lockbox, would be nice to have a couple of keys just in case.

Overall the home was clean, maintained and perfect location. I was the perfect accommodation for what we need for our group for the weekend. I would stay again.

I'm giving this place 5 stars, not because it's the nicest home you'll ever be in, but because it lived up to it's advertisement fully. For me with a rental it's all about location and comfort. This place has enough space comfortably for a family of 5. The kitchen and bathroom are small and well worn, but that's visible in the pictures. The real delightful surprise was the TVs. On vacations my wife and I love being active during the day and just relaxing at night watching TV. In most rentals the TVs are old, small, and just not great. This place had 2 newer Samsungs with great screens, the one in the family room is one of the curved models. That combined with a very comfortable sectional made for a great place to kick back after a day of hiking. I read a couple minor complaints about the bar that is just down the hill. We were there on a weekend and only one night could we barely hear the music, and it was definitely over before 10 so I'd call it a non-issue. The location is absolutely perfect, you can walk down to the riverwalk a block away, or you can drive to RMNP which is only 5 minutes away. Overall we had a great time and will definitely book this place again on a return visit.

It was great to be in town with Estes Park in easy walking distance. Access to RMNP was also very easy. Older house is comfortably furnished and cozy. We really thought it was good value. We found the kitchen poorly equipped, we like to cook and eat at home, that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
Manager response:
We are glad to see you enjoyed your stay! We are taking care of the kitchen supplies as soon as possible. Thank you!

Courtney is a delightful cabin with fantastic location adjacent to the downtown area. It was comfortable and was perfect for our visit.
Karen P. Aug 2019
Perfect location, house is very basic but has everything needed.
Joyce L. Aug 2019
The house was cozy and felt very safe

Older cottage with character. Close to shopping and restaurants. Perfect for a family getaway
Aaron Q. Jun 2019
Loved the location! Plenty of shopping, eating, and activities within a short walk. Several mornings Elk was grazing in the yard, an awesome sight to see! Cozy cottage had plenty of beds and home supplies that made for a relaxing vacation. Thank you!
Erika G. May 2019
The cabin was clean and comfortable with cozy beds. An old & worn out home, but worth the stay... we could walk into the downtown, enjoy great views and have a fire in the pit at night. A bar is directly behind the cabin that had live music... it didn't play too late into the night & the "free" ambiance was fun.
Bridgette J. Nov 2018
Within walking distance of mainly every spot you'd want to go! Great views too!
Valerie E. Nov 2018
Courtney cottage was a great option for 3 friends and then my family of 4 with its 3 bedrooms, dining area, and comfortable living room. Loved the views of the mountains and easy walk into town.
Dan K. Oct 2018
This was a very nice home which was much more spacious than I expected. It was very clean and well appointed. Had everything you would need. It is located very close to downtown and an easy walk there. There is no cable but there is Netflix. There were a couple of unannounced visits by repairmen/maintenance guys. One was to connect the WiFi (which they were not able to do on their visit). The most annoying thing was the live band playing next door. They stopped at 9 p.m. but it was causing us to drive up the volume on our movie one night. It was a nice visit and weekend. Even though there was no contact with the owners, they, or the property management, seemed to care.
