Located four miles southwest of Galveston proper, the charming Victorian Resort is a quick stroll to the Seawall and the beach, and near favorite Galveston attractions like Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and the Lone Star Flight Museum.
This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is serene with tropical accents. Curl up on the floral-print sofa for some TV time, or head out to the balcony with a beverage and a good book. There's WiFi throughout the condo for Netflix and email access.
Although you'll want to eat out often (who can resist delicious Gulf/Creole cuisine?) you can prepare simple meals in your kitchenette complete with a small stovetop, a mini-fridge, a dishwasher, and a microwave. Additions like a blender and a coffee maker make breakfast at home a snap! Eat at the dining table set for four, and keep the cook company at the two-top breakfast bar.
The bedroom has a queen bed for ultra comfort and privacy. An additional twin in the hallway between the main living space and the bedroom is the perfect sleeper for a child, and the sofa pulls out into a queen bed, making this a comfortable home for a total of five (four adults max, please).
Take it slow and easy here. There are three pools and two hot tubs to choose from, a fitness/game room, and pretty gardens to wander through. It's a three-mile drive to the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier with carnival-style games and rides, plus fun eats for the family. Ride bikes, scooters, or roller blade the Seawall. Access fishing piers along the shoreline, or wander the beach looking for crabs or the next perfect wave.
