The place was cozy and very well located. We loved our stay and appreciated the simple check in and check out that the management company provided. We would be very interested in staying either at the same location or at any other property managed by Vacasa.

The house was cozy and comfortable in a nice neighborhood and in a great location (close to a bike trail, too). Manager was very responsive.

This place is convenient to the Bert Gilman Trail, U Village, Metropolitan Market and our kids! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fairly well stocked and the sitting room is cozy. The linens are fine and there are plenty of blankets. Don’t expect fancy, it’s an older, small house that could use some updates.

The husky hideaway is a cute 2 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow that is perfect for 3-4 people (1 Queen/1 double bed). It is an older home complete with squeaky wood floors (like many homes in the area) and simple and interesting eclectic furnishings. If you are looking for new and modern look elsewhere. A few things in the home could use some updating or replacement but if you don’t plan to spend a lot of time inside it is reasonably priced and is close to UW and lots of food, shopping, etc. The street is very quiet, there is ample street parking, and the Wifi worked really well, There is no a/c (typical in Seattle) but Vacasa furnished us with a fan at our request which was much appreciated. Overall, if you don’t mind a bit older but comfortable place to stay, the husky hideaway is a great deal!

Great back deck. Cozy. Just what we needed. Kitchen sink faucet is leaking but an easy fix I imagine!
Hi, Susan! The sink leak has been repaired. Thank you so much for staying with us!

We loved the quiet neighborhood, the quaint and charming house, having a washer/dryer and the proximity to U Village, Mio Posto, Sea-Sun Coffee, Metropolitan Market and the Bert Gilman Trail. No car needed. The house was well stocked for staying for a short visit or an extended stay.

This was a perfect little house for my dad and I to spend a couple of days. Quiet and quaint.

Great location. Don't need a car. I didn't receive the 10-digit access code before I arrived and had to call Vacasa to get a backup code. Fabulous deck

Lovely little home within walking distant of UW and the university shops. Very clean, comfortable, and easy to access! Definitely a great value and would totally stay again!

Wonderful location and cozy house. Parking on the street was very easy, and the hosts were helpful and very prompt with communication. Thanks for a nice stay.

The ladies who helped me book were excellent. The place had nice kitchen cookware. Most of the spices and tea are very old. beds were very comfortable. The use of the outside propane grill was great! ) 1/2 mile walk to grocery stores and 1 mile walk to campus made getting around easy.

This was the perfect location with our grandson in Seattle Childrens. The staff worked with us with surgery scheduling which can change hourly. Very clean and a nice patio area the would have been relaxing had it not rained. The bed was extremely comfortable in this difficult time for our family. It would have been nice to have the TV in the living room versus the bedroom. Otherwise, it was perfect.

August 10-19, 2018 my husband, daughter and I stayed in this small, but cute home in a beautiful neighborhood. Very nostalgic, wood floors, open windows and screened doors with a nice breeze; doesn’t get much better. Clean with comfortable furnishings. Only suggestion would be to have labeled trash cans inside for out of towners since the laws are so strict on recycling. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a comfortable two bedroom, one bathroom home in Ravenna, very close to the University, the light rail train into Seattle (and to SeaTac), and near University Village (walking distance) which is an upscale lifestyle outdoor mall with high end shops, restaurants, several Starbucks, an Einstein Bagels, QFC grocery store, etc. It’s also close to the UW hospitals. Our family (two kids shared double bed) stayed here for 6 nights. We rented a car (parked right in front of the house every day) but took an Uber to the light rail station at the UW and took the train into downtown Seattle. I think you could easily manage staying here without a car and Ubering, depending on your plans. It looks like there’s some type of parking restrictions during the school year so just double check that. There were ample linens, and a washer and dryer. There’s a TV only in the master bedroom (not living area) so if that’s important to you, just be aware. Other than that it was very comfortable and a great location.

We loved staying here. The house is old and has a lot of charm. The area is quiet and very nice. Lots of good restaurants close by.

We recently stayed at Husky Hideaway for our visit to the University of Washington and city of Seattle. It was perfect! We were in a great neighborhood very close to UW and the light right into downtown Seattle. We even enjoyed exploring the local restaurants and shops in Ravenna and University Village. The home itself is very comfortable with a nice kitchen and bath and everyone slept great in the beds. We loved the charming character of the home, with a sort of bright, beachy, nature, feel to it. It was very peaceful and offered the perfect respite from our city adventures. It looks like the back deck and yard would be great in the summer time for relaxing, and enjoying nice Seattle weather (it was very rainy for our visit). We will definitely plan to stay again at Husky Hideaway on our next visit, and were even talking about visiting for a UW football game in the fall! Go Dawgs!
