Absolutely loved our experience staying here. We were 3 adults and a small dog. There is more than ample space, plenty of dishes for cooking. And the house is just amazing. The house was very clean, with fresh bed sheets and towels.

The management company did a great job sending us directions before we set out, checking on us after we arrived and ensuring we are comfortable. I had some question on the WiFi, that was promptly responded over text. They also followed up with a call.

This house is part of Tahoe-Donner, HOA which gets benefits like discounted ski lift tickets to the nearby ski resorts, hot tub at the Trout recreation area.
Highly recommend

We loved our stay in this beautiful and cozy family home in Truckee. We rented it for a couple nights in January, but had to reschedule it one day before the check in. The customer service was outstanding and helped us out with moving the dates to March. The weather was great. It happened to snow right the first 2 days of our stay. Kids enjoyed the sledding right outside on the front yard. The house was warm, temperature in each room could be regulated manually which was highly appreciated. There was enough kitchen supplies to cook as well as dinnerware. Barbecue was working as well as fireplace in the living room which we enjoyed very much. Thank you.

This is a cozy, very pretty house - especially upstairs! We did have an issue with the code upon check-in, but the 800 number resolved it. Additionally, there were panes missing in the glass part of the front door. We had to cover them with tape to avoid letting cold air in.

The main issue with is is that there were ZERO instructions on how to use things in the house. Here's where this was an issue:

1. The living room fireplace. There was no easily identifiable switch to turn it on. We finally found one on the side of the fireplace, but you had to kind of jam your finger into it to move the switch up or down, which leads us to believe it was probably the wrong way to control the fireplace. The first time we tried to use it, nothing happened. We had to open a battery panel next to the switch, jiggle the batteries, and try again. Then it worked. There were remote controls, but either they didn't have batteries or they had no effect.

2. Fireplace in master. Ditto, only this one had controls on the front, which was easier. The remote had no batteries.

3. The entire downstairs heating system. After waiting in vain for the downstairs to heat up, we finally discovered that we had to manually turn on baseboard heaters, AND manually turn on ceiling vents that (we think) brought in warm air from the upstairs. One of the space heaters provided was broken.

4. Heating in bathrooms. Same deal, only we had to manually turn on wall vents to allow warm air to come in.

5. The master bath shower. It's mismarked; so if you turn the handle to the "H" for hot, you'll never get hot water.

6. The Wi-Fi. The network name and password in the welcome email were wrong.

We did report most of these issues to management; got a form letter in response.

None of these are deal-breakers, and overall I would still stay here again. It would just have been nice to not struggle to become comfortable.

Loved the place.
A number of things broke, the downstairs shower and the kitchen sink but they were Promptly fixed. However, the TV in the living room also broke and we had to do without on a night we planned for movie night. Probably just as well.. Would go back. However the pool passes were not worth the fee because it was only an hour and a half and there were lots of people in the pool. Blame Covid. The rest of the time we just went to the lake and had a great time.We definitely would come back

The home was great. Great location and great space. The kitchen could use some organizing and the dryer was broken.

We found this house to be very comfortable and convenient. It was well stocked. Useful staples in the kitchen, lots of games for the kids, and everything was very cozy.
