Great for a couple or family of 4 to enjoy a beautiful trip to Eureka! Kitchen is cute, and has induction cooktops. The home has great windows for natural light. It was not a deal breaker in the least but there is no TV, or at least while we were there, but there was wifi. We had our laptop and ipads, so it was no biggy. The gate was a little tricky to find at first.

Great location near the Redwoods. House is small but worked well for family of four with two small kids and would be ideal for a couple.

Great little place to stay… close to zoo and park. Convenient with grocery store and shops a few blocks as away. Quiet neighborhood. Little place was perfect for my daughter and I- relaxing space with comforts of home.

We were there 2 nights and everything was good. Kitchen was sticked with everything other than groceries so didnt need to buy spices so food cost was fine. Could have used a tv all else was great.

This home is small but comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. It is in within walking distance to beautiful Sequoia Park and a few minutes drive to a very nice Safeway. I also found it a quick drive to 101 for traveling to beaches and state parks north of Eureka. The home offers privacy and quiet, which are important to me, and I felt quite safe here, also important to me as a woman traveling alone. The owners were very helpful as the local utility company shut down the power on one of the days I stayed, and the couple connected backup solar batteries to the home so I could have uninterrupted power. Overall, I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone traveling in Eureka.

This place is amazing. It’s beautifully lit, completely functional, and surprisingly luxurious. We (200 lb me, my former rugby player wife, and our two rambunctious kids) took a week to just chill there. It’s a block’s walk away from a redwood forest and a quick drive away from everything the north coast offers. The place itself has an amazing comfortable (not kidding) folding couch, heated floors, induction range, and a skylight over the master bed in the loft. You can watch the moon rise over the redwoods (or not, it has an electrical shade), let the gentle wind come through and stretch out to your hearts content upstairs - we used the stairs as a way to ensure our own space and maintain visual privacy. There’s a grill and a couple of patios, a private entrance, a fair amount of storage, and nice touches all around. The hosts are responsive, but chill, and there are renewable energy installations all over the property if you’re into that kind of thing. We figured that it would be small enough that we’d have to just use it as a base, but found ourself hanging out at “home“ instead.
The north coast has lots of dark, musty, claustrophobic, cheaply built housing. This is the opposite of that. I’m happy to recommend it without reservation.

Great place to act as a base while exploring the Eureka and the surrounding areas. 2 adults and 2 children fit comfortably.

The space was clean, quiet, comfortable, and pleasant. It was a fantastic base of operations for our stay in Eureka. I would absolutely stay here again.
We stayed here with our toddler over the weekend and the cottage was perfect for the getaway. Convenient to the national parks and has all the amenities for the evenings.
Host was very helpful and accommodative in dropping off the pack-n-play crib during dinner time on Thanksgiving so our toddler could sleep. Thank you!
We were in Eureka for four days to get my sister's house cleared out and ready to sell, so we weren't at the cottage as much as we would have liked. It was perfect for us, and we loved walking to beautiful Sequoia Park and dahlia garden every morning. I would certainly recommend this cottage. Our family had a delicious Italian meal at Gabriel's in Old Town on our last night.
The tiny house was very cozy and had just about anything one could need or want. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just watch your head in the loft bedroom. The ceiling is angled and pretty low in places.
We really enjoyed our stay. Location was quiet and located in a good neighborhood. We stayed for 2 nights and it accommodated our family of four. Check in and out was extremely easy and the rental company covered all bases via email
Close parking and automatic lighting with secure gate access makes for a smooth arrival. The ample courtyard has seating a room to stretch out. The couch is firm and the amenities upscale. Open the skylight at the touch of a button. While no tv gives you a break from media, high speed access allows you to stream and stay connected at your own pace. Very comfortable bed and A/C if needed.
Very happy to stay here. Will return without hesitation. Many thoutful touches especially with condiments, skylight and thankfully NO TV :)
Beautiful little cottage in a nice neighborhood. Close to town but far enough away. We had plenty of privacy. The instructions and information in a binder and notes throughout the house were very helpful. We loved the loft area with the automatic skylight. The house overall was well built and it was nice how energy efficient appliances were. Side note: If you are going to cook, they had a nice induction stovetop. So, if you are bringing your own pots and pans make sure they are induction compatible. Would definitely stay here again.
This place is so warm and comfortable with beautiful craftsmanship. We came here after the fire in Paradise and were so comfortable and rejuvenated by the warmth and great light of this house. Thank you!!!
This mid-sized tiny house has all the comforts of home. The six foot fence provides an oasis of privacy in a sea of neighborhood houses. Thoughtful lighting provides a welcome after dark to the walkway and security gate. The residence has all that you need for a good nights sleep, snack, coffee, warm shower, all while knowing it is responsibly constructed and well maintained.
Everything was wonderful except for the mirror in the bathroom. Replace the picture with a mirror so a short person can see and I'd give it 5 stars. We probably won't stay here again because of the stairs in the middle of the night. But for agile younger folks, it's a great place.
