Hats off to the Cleaning Crew! This condo was very clean. Important items all good...Air conditioning cool, hot water for showers, ice maker with frig, and only 2 minute walk to beach! That having been said, this villa needs some updating to be up to expected standards of Kiawah Island. Bath tub fixtures, bathroom vanity, kitchen counters I would venture to guess are all original which makes them over 40 years old. Carpet should be replaced. Washer and dryer were new and villa seemed to be freshly painted. So all in all, a good value.

Comfortable, well thought out accomodations for two persons. Well equipped kitchen, and entertinment ctrs for bedroom and living room inhabitants. Nice, screened sitting area on porch with view of nature and bike path. Convenient to town center, beach and nature Center. Parking at door.

This villa had a great location just steps from the beach and with a porch that overlooked the lagoon and bike path. Mariner's Watch is a really nice and attractive villa development. The Freshfields market area is close by too for food shopping and restaurants. The villa itself left a lot to be desired and the furniture and fixtures/appliances/shower/decorations need modernization. A positive was the porch, though old cobwebs were covered in dust up in the corners. We wished we had spent the extra $100 total for the four nights for the more updated villa. The kitchen and bathroom were particularly dated and weren't fully clean with a moldy inner shower curtain, mold on old and peeling-away caulk, some dishes with food stuck on them, and corners of the carpeting covered in dust. The pots and pans were so old that the teflon or interior finishes were so badly scratched and worn away we couldn't use some of them. The microwave was a cheap one that took way too long to heat food. The most disappointing thing was the king mattress in the bedroom. It was so incredibly firm and hard that the springs didn't move when we layed on it and it felt like sleeping on the floor. We are young and lightweight, and we tossed and turned every night from the discomfort of needing to relieve pressure points from laying on the mattress. Overall, this unit needs to be updated before being rented out again.

Quiet location a few minutes walk to the beach or park...

Yes it’s dated, yes it’s completely functional. Yes it’s was clean. Hide a bed couch sleeps like a hide a bed couch- but it’s not terrible, King bed mattress is ok. The location is great. All in all it was good. Would stay there again.

Close to the beach,trails etc.
Quiet at night..just what i wanted

Very close to the beach. Clean, well stocked. Quiet area. Only negatives were dated outdoor furniture, sticky doors, and noisy dishwasher and laundry appliances. Even with that, we really enjoyed our relaxing stay!

This unit is very dated and not clean. There are 4 screen porch chairs and only 2 are usable. The porch is dirty and full of spider webs. The bathroom was not clean and has a hole in the wall by the toilet. The shower head sprays water on the wall of the shower and the floor but sadly not on your body.
Again , this is a great location but it needs to be gutted before it is rented again

Condo was very close to the beach 🏝. Also close to various walkways. Could have used a few more towels along with paper amenities

This condo is a bit outdated, But the comfortable bed and perfect location make up for that. The beach access is so close, and the screened in porch is fantastic for sitting and enjoying the Lowcountry setting.

Lovely villa. Somewhat dated, but clean and had everything we needed. We loved the screen porch with the rocking chairs. Great location, quiet and just a few steps away from the beach.

Steps to the beach and walking path, perfect size for the two of us, amazing screened in porch to enjoy peaceful view and sea air. Everything was amazing and we recommend it highly!

Easy check in and check out procedures. Villa was ready on time. Villa was very nice but very disappointed in your bathroom supplies which consisted of wafer thin soap and small bath products which lasted no more than 3 days.
Manager response:
We're very sorry for the inconvenience during your stay. This issue occurred under a previous management company. Our local teams are working with that company to learn from feedback and fix any issues. We just started managing this unit and would love for you to try staying with Vacasa in the future to experience our world-class service.

Loved the location. The screened-in porch; the convenience of Fresh Fields village. It felt very private, etc. Also, the convenience of location to Charleston.
