With this property's proximity to Canyon Lodge and the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, skiing and snowboarding are great options for your winter vacation. Parking notes: The building is the first one in the complex (separate driveway). There is underground parking for one vehicle in Space #29 (7'2' clearance). One extra vehicle may park in guest parking (in the garage or outside) as available. Parking passes are located in the unit. Use the provided Building Code to access the door leading out of the garage to the stairway.

Any extra vehicles will have to be parked off site, and there is no parking on Mammoth Lakes roads from Nov. 1st- April 30th. This complex does not allow any RVs or trailers on the property. ********************************************************************** Be Bear Aware: Bears have an extraordinary sense of smell and are able to pry open car doors and windows with their claws. A miscellaneous food wrapper, food scrap, trash or sight of an ice chest is enough for a bear to break into your vehicle. Keep your car clean and free of anything scented, including non-food items such as air fresheners, lotions, toothpaste, hand sanitizers and wipes.
Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.

Nice Unit and location, but the property management was not good, prior to getting there they told us the Oven wasn't working, which we said was fine, but when we went to make toast for breakfast the toaster over didn't even work, then the first second night the oven started making beeping error sounds from 2:30 am every 30-45 mins which then we had to get up and shut off, so didn't sleep. they never sent anyone over as we requested a number of times so we had to trouble shoot ourselves and find the breaker to shut off the oven. not my kind of place to stay and pay.

We loved the pine decor throughout the home! Very comfortable and spacious place! Nice to have three bathrooms for our family of 5. Jetted tubs in the baths were nice. The kitchen and living areas were nice. The small patio, although small was nice to sit on and enjoy the view. Upstairs corner location with many windows for good circulation. The condo had a cozy feel and was nice and clean. Wood floors in main living space, carpets in the rooms. Great place to stay!

If this were only location I would rate a 5. Super close to lodge and easy to access. However, dated, weird kitchen stuff, TVs didn’t work, horrible bedding from a dorm! Add some bedding and pillows would ya!

This home is clean and great for 5 to 6 people. This is our 2nd time staying at this home and we love the location. The only thing it lacks is kitchen items. There was no cutting board or baking dishes. The oven did not work and when we used the stove top the vent was not very efficient. These are minor items that can be easily fixed. O

Loved our stay at this condo. It’s located just a short walk to Canyon which was perfect for my family for whenever anyone wanted to head back for the day. Underground parking was great, walk up two flights of stairs. Condo is well appointed with new kitchen and bathrooms. TVs in every room, good WiFi. Loved the ski lodge decor too!

The apartment was spacious and close to everything. We did not have internet during our whole stay and the beds were not very comfortable. Other than that it was ok.

To preface, the lack of stars I’m giving this condo are due to the cleanliness issues and not the property itself. This was a beautiful, incredibly spacious condo. The kitchen was well-stocked, there was a custom bathroom for each of the three bedrooms, and the beds were comfy. There was also an abundance of towels and basic necessities, like spices, paper towels, and TP.
The major downfall and why this property is getting only three stars and not the five it deserves is in Vacasa’s apparent upgraded cleaning practices- these need some work.
The usual places seemed to be cleaned decently well, like the toilets and sinks, but there is no way extra cleaning or any semblance of deep cleaning is being done. There was caked on food on the kitchen table, the floors were black when we wiped up spilled water with a paper towel, and the kitchen and bathroom counters looked to only have been sprayed, not wiped clean.
Even pre-Covid this would have been a deal breaker for me so you can understand why during a pandemic this is a problem.
Vacasa’s customer service is excellent, however, because we had not originally booked this condo but another one in the same area. We requested to move because that condo was even dirtier than the one we stayed in for the duration of our stay (the downstairs bathroom rug has almost certainly never been washed). The ladies we spoke with quickly and efficiently moved us to Sierra Megeve 29 in a matter of 30 minutes. Not only was the switch seamless, they didn’t charge us anything extra (Sierra Megeve 29 was a significantly pricier stay than the original condo).
Because of their expert customer service, I’ll consider renting properties with Vacasa in the future, but they need to hire new cleaning staff first.

Is it a log cabin or a condo? It's both! A spacious home base for a weekend of skiing at Mammoth Mountain. Located a stone's throw from Canyon Lodge, it is super convenient for access to the slopes. Comfortably furnished, a nice fully-equipped kitchen, and modern bathrooms. Covered parking is also a bonus.

This condo is in a great location, corner unit and very quiet even being on the street side. Loved the mountain feel with antler chandeliers and bear rugs etc. Very spacious and clean. Only criticism is they could update the bedding to pillow top comforter and pillows!
