We stayed at Eagle's Perch for nearly an entire month. It was SO relaxing! The house was very clean and well-furnished, although the downstairs bedrooms are small and don't have any dresser or other furniture for storing clothes. The kitchen was great to work in and had a better selection of pots and pans than most vacation rentals. The views are spectacular, with frequent sightings of bald eagles. Another reviewer suggested bringing a patio umbrella for the table on the deck, and I'm glad we did because it allowed us to use the deck at any time of day. And we used it a lot!! Yes, it's a bit of a hike from the house down to the lake, but all of our guests, from under 2 years old to over 75 years old, managed it. We brought a pontoon boat with us and made it out onto the lake just about every day. The location is perfect for water sports and also for going to local restaurants by water. There are dozens of life jackets in the boat shed, including one for dogs! There's also a small fridge, which was perfect for keeping drinks cold while we hung out on the dock after a day of boating. The younger set also had a great time swimming off the dock. With the Food Lion and Dollar General only 5 minutes away, it was easy to pick up whatever we needed during our stay.
The people at Vacasa were fantastic! There were a couple of minor maintenance issues that needed attention, and the response to my request was very fast. They even sent someone out to change all the air conditioning filters as part of the routine maintenance of the house! It was a perfect vacation, and we would definitely stay there again.

Our whole family enjoyed our time there. Lake offered many things to do with swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. It's quite a walk up to house but worth the walk!

We had a wonderful time. The view is breathtaking. The house is well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked. The only reason I gave it a 4 rating instead of a 5 is the long and steep walk to the water.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The views were beautiful and the house was very clean and well appointed.

We had a wonderful stay and the house was exactly as advertised. The view of the lake was spectacular from this home and we loved being able to just walk down to the lake and fish on the dock. Very peaceful and we got to see an eagle while we were there so overall very nice home 🏡

The house was beautiful just like in pictures from the website. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a home-cooked meal. My family and I really enjoyed it. The only reason I gave it a four was because the lake was not as close to the house as website make it seem .... three of my kids fell going to the peer no worries everybody is fine. But our stay was fun and amazing... we would definitely rent again

The house was very clean and well maintained with decent furnishings! The cove is a perfect spot for pulling tubes and using the paddle boards. The house came with 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and some chairs for the dock.

Great place to get away. House was located in private setting with many trees and the lake was beautiful. The dock shed was stocked with lots of toys and plenty of chairs- large enough to sit in the sun or find a shady spot. Nice feature of a fridge so you could keep drinks cold while spending the whole day on the water. The house was very clean, well kept and the beds were comfortable. Even the grill was clean enough to use (first time we have rented a place where we were able to use the grill). If you are picky about cooking tools, you may want to bring your own pans. Not a lot of options for eating out. Glad we brought a beach umbrella to put in the table on the deck. Otherwise on the deck, there would be no place for shade. Beautiful views of the lake from the many windows in the house. Even saw a pair of eagles! Very steep from house to lake, but a good workout going back and forth a couple of times a day. Unfortunately too much for my mother who was traveling with us so she didn’t get to enjoy time by the water with the family. Overall a great place for a perfect getaway!

We had a great long weekend at Eagle's Perch. The home comes supplied with linens, soaps, and other necessities. Lots of fun water toys and we were able to rent a boat (through to fully enjoy the water toys as well.

The view of lake, from all the lake facing windows gorgeous. Eagles nest, 2 big babies high up in a lot near the house, each morning we’d see the mom and dad pearched up together. House very clean and updated.
2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards, good condition, except 1 kayak paddle was broken, still could use it though like a canoe paddle. Bring your own cooking pans, like every rental cooking pans are not in real good shape. The dock is very spacious, a big lake to look on. We will return here again!! You can tell the owners take pride in their home.

I rented the house for 3 nights to get away from Richmond and disconnect. The house is lovely and property is on a wooded property. Kitchen is well equipped. There’s also kayaks, paddle boards and floats. We loved our time!

With a toddler, 90 minutes away from the city is ideal. Kayaking in the mornings, zoom calls during the day, fire at night, and boating on the weekend. It was what we needed to escape the quarantine.

This is a nice house with a good location on Lake Anna. Very pretty interior and had everything you could need to make it feel like home. Our kids and dogs loved it. We've recommended it to some friends and relatives as well.
