This Palm Springs vacation villa is a fantastic retreat in the peaceful Los Compadres neighborhood. Contemporary, modern, and stylish, it's a perfect fit for those looking to unwind and enjoy the Palm Springs sunshine poolside. Walk through the breezeway between the home and the garage to the backyard, where a glistening pool and spa beckon you to relax and let your cares slip away. Stretch out on one of the chaise lounges and soak up that Palm Springs sun while being surrounded by a lush green lawn and mature citrus trees, including lemon and grapefruit. The backyard faces west, framing a picturesque view of the San Jacinto Mountains, and there's an outdoor dining space for eight under the covered patio, as well as a propane barbeque for preparing and enjoying meals al fresco. Once inside this 1, 600 square foot Palm Springs hideaway, the natural light streams into the main living space through the large windows and glass doors, offering a bright and open feeling. The furnishings are contemporary and sleek, with a dash of modern for that Palm Springs vibe. The main seating area is a great place to gather friends and family around the gas fireplace or to enjoy a movie on the 42' TV with a DVD player. The open floor plan makes spending time together easy, as the living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open to each other.

Perched in a convenient location equidistant from the hustle and bustle of downtown and the Palm Springs International Airport, you will have no problem soaking up the best of this desert city. Start each morning with a cup of coffee from Koffi on the way over to the various trails at Tahquitz Canyon just three miles away. When you want to check out the core of downtown, head down Palm Canyon Drive and explore the fun shops, tasty restaurants, and art exhibits. For some fun away from the city, Joshua Tree National Park and Mount San Jacinto State Park are both closeby for a day trip!

This is a great vacation spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very quiet, great kitchen to cook and back yard is perfect to chill with a bottle of Rose and swim or sauna.

House was thoughtfully equipped with everything we need; pool and yard were well tended and ready for use. We travelled with a toddler and everything worked out well.

We wanted a family getaway and this house was awesome. We brought our 3 dogs with us and with the enclosed backyard and pool it was perfect. Even on really windy days you noticed nothing in the back by the pool. Highly recommend this residence for a family retreat, especially if you want to bring your pets (pet friendly house).

We really enjoyed six nights in this home. The home is clean, quiet and well taken care of. The toys were a bonus in the guest room and the view was amazing. The spa was nice and hot. The location is great. We will definitely be back to this house.

The property itself I read a 10. Unfortunately the excessive communications from booking.com through the property management company, called Vacasa, is one of the most intrusive systems I’ve ever encountered. You received a text without verification codes multiple times a day, same emails with no update in any type of new information about the property in your stay on a daily basis, notifications in the app, and even a phone call again all redundant asking the same questions or requiring the customers input. They also had a lot of rules about sound and check out was 10 AM with a cleaning person knocking on the door at 10:02. Check in time isn’t until 4 PM so it was really like a day and a half versus two days. As well the rules about the noise is kind of a joke because the neighbors had gardeners starting at 7 AM each morning.
