Great location in quite neighborhood! Bunks and queen bed in the bunk room are all very squeaky which made for a very rough first night. Next night we moved some mattresses to the floor. Didn't get great water pressure in upstairs bathtub. No electricity in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Over all I would book again and be prepare for it's quarks. The heater worked and so did the stove/oven so we were happy and the kids had a blast!!!
Samantha, thank you for your comments! Your feedback ensured all issues and inconveniences listed were repaired and updated. We appreciate you for notifying us, and we sincerely apologize you encountered such problems. Rest assured, this is not commonplace and is no longer an occurrence. We sincerely hope you will grant us a second opportunity to host you for a more comfortable and pleasant stay!

The house was well equipped with the essentials, plenty of towels, plenty of space for 10 people! The neighbors are friendly making you feel welcome! We loved the snow and a great mini vacation over all!

The Last Resort is exactly as advertised! They have all the bathroom and kitchen amenities you could want. The beds are comfortable and the house gets plenty warm. We had 4 adults, 4 toddlers, and an infant and the house still seemed quite large. The only con was that the oven did not work, however, the stove and outdoor grill did.

We truly had a fun stay at The Last Resort. The price was right. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. The beds were comfortable and the linens were crisp and clean. The rooms were spacious, and there were enough beds so no one had to share or sleep on the floor, now that is a plus! Some windows were missing the screens, but we still had them open. I would suggest bringing a fan with you because during the day it can get warm inside. Note, to owner, ceiling fans would be great.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a meal. No dishwasher. So we could of used a few more dish towels, but other than that, the frig, stove and microwave worked fine. The home has a large fenced yard that is great for dogs, but not very welcoming for people, do to the lack of landscaping. Therefore, instead we found ourselves enjoying coffee in the morning and game boards in the evening on the large comfortable front deck. As far as location, Sugarloaf is not far at all from Big Bear center. We found many places to eat close by. I can recommend this place, what you see in the pictures is what you get. Looking for a vacation on a budget, then this is your place.

Wonderful place for a family getaway. Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Two bathrooms with towels and toiletries. Outdoors you will find grill, picnic bench & a gated yard. The nice , quiet neighborhood made for a restful weekend. Close to everything in town. If possible I would suggest to plan a day to just stay in and enjoy the coziness of the house. They had a good selection of board games, fast WiFi & cable television. My kids are already asking when can we return. We found the Last Resort to be exactly what we needed.

The home was perfect for a big family with pet. It has a fenced backyard for your furry pet to run around and also for my 8 year old daughter. I love that it has a bedroom and full bath downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms have towels and hairdryer. It has cable and internet was fast. There were available boardgames. The dining table is big enough to sit all 8 of us. Our family enjoyed our stay and will definitely book it again whenever we go to Big Bear!
