Really pretty view on the patio. The staircase is very steep and the huge fireplace mantle blocks your way up. Refrigerator doesn’t open all the way because the counter top blocks it. The pool and hot tub were closed which was the sole reason we booked and nothing about that was listed on the listing. It served its purpose for us to sleep, change clothes. It’s close to the Main Street Lincoln so that was nice.

No A/C in the summer was brutal. Two portable units were there but they acted as fans, and did not put out cold air. Used washcloth still hanging in the shower. Fireplace hearth stuck out and we continually tripped on it; many stubbed toes and a lil chunk of flesh missing. It was a cute unit, but needed updating. I thought it'd be fun to get a condo but would have rather paid 1/2 the price for a hotel in town with A/C.
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local manager who will work with our homeowner to make necessary upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!

Well kept, great customer service.

We had a less than fair stay at this property and would never recommend it to anyone. The wifi never worked so we had to call the hotline and turned out to be an entirely different pass code than what was left for us. The staircase is an accident waiting to happen. We killed 6 wasps in the unit and found a dead one up in the loft. The TV in the loft was never set up to work and multiple tickets were put in to have it fixed and never was. The trim piece fell off in the kitchen when I went to open the doors beneath the sink. That was never fixed. Property should not rented out with the ill level of service provided or lack thereof.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Dolores. We apologize that your experience in our home was not the vacation for which you had planned and for which we strive to provide our guests. We confirm the WiFi issues have been resolved, the TV in the loft is in working order, and the trim in the kitchen has been repaired. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was conveniently located close to the Gondola Transit Center bus stop and had a great view from the deck. However, the interior is old and really needs to be updated. Better lighting and updates to the bathroom and kitchen would go a long way. Also, the pool and hot tubs were closed and unusable. We would have appreciated knowing this prior to our stay because part of the reason we picked this place was because we were under the impression these amenities would be available to us. Also, we would have appreciated walking directions to the bus stop. We located a shortcut at the back of the property after speaking with a worker on the premises, but we would have preferred having this information printed out and available to us in the unit.

Great little place with beautiful views! It was a bit hot in the summer, but you are so close to everything that you won't want to spend much time inside!

Great location, clean and beautiful views. Perfect for the 4 of us.

Might be impossible to beat the affordability/proximity to gondola ratio. This unit’s bedroom is in a loft up a “ship’s ladder”. Pull out couch makes for easy sleeping for four. The ladder and openness of the loft make this condo much less expensive than others in this condo complex (I’ve stayed in another unit in this complex before). Built in the ‘70’s or early ‘80’s, the complex is a bit dated but again, refer to my first sentence. Two outdoor hot tubs and a heated pool with an easy 4 minute walk to gondola square (I timed it) make this place choice if you’re on a budget.

Perfect location, perfect for family of 4.

The condo was small but it was a great fit for my daughter and I. It's not ski in and ski out, but it is a short 400 meter walk to the Gondola. Great views of the mountain, Uber is in Steamboat so no need for a vehicle. WIFI was good enough to stream Netflix the entire time we were there.

The perfect little studio within walking distance to the gondola square. Comfortably furnished and equipped to cook for the whole family. Great hot tub and pool area to relax after a day on the mountain. Convenient parking. This was our second stay and we'll be back.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and LOVED IT!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation! The view was incredible and the location was perfect! Highly highly recommended!!

Great location with a view

This is a great condo in a great location. Close to Gondola Square and a short drive to downtown!!

This spot is great for getting to the mountain - a short walk away from the center village, restaurants, shops, liquor store, etc. The view is just ok as it faces Mt. Werner instead of the mountain and is on the noisy side when out on the patio. Some minor updates/repairs are in order and the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable - we took the mattress from the fold out couch up to the loft as a makeshift mattress topper in order to make the bed softer. Also - beware that the ladder to the loft is extremely steep! Location is 5 stars, the actual accommodations were more like a three, especially for the price.

Nice place in walking distance from from lifts and gandola. If you don't like to walk, the shuttle came every 5 minutes. Nice hot tub and pool to relax in after a day of skiing.
Markus W.Mar 2017
We had a great time, you can't really beat location, comfort, and price. Walking distance to the Steamboat gondola square, but still quiet at night. We were able to cook and enjoyed the view. Will be back.

Nice play close to the resort. Definitly reccomend.
Mary B.Dec 2016
This condo was perfect for our family. With a convenient location to the slopes, it was only about a 5 min walk with kids and gear to the main base. The unit was cozy and comfortable, updated, and had all the amenities we were looking for. We will definitely come back for another stay!

Very very happy with the location, size, views and cleanliness of this Emerald West Condo! Comfortable for two people - excellent views of the valley and access to mountain. Will return for sure!
John Or Anita W.Sep 2016
We enjoyed staying here. It was a little smaller than we expected, but very nice. The pool is not open year round as stated in description, but the manager made it right by giving us pool passes to use elsewhere. The beds were comfortable too-both the regular bed and the pullout sofa sleeper.
Kim G.Sep 2016
Loved our stay in Steamboat and this cozy condo was just perfect! Just be aware that the stairs to the loft/bedroom are very steep so take extra care going down. Highly recommend!

The property was great - awesome location!

This property was a great value, considering close proximity to the ski area. Renters need to know that there is a fairly short inclined walk to/from the gondola transit station and then more steps to the gondola. This is not a problem for younger skiers, but I was there after recent knee surgery, and the added walk and steps were challenging. The view from the property was amazing as we overlooked the sleeping giant, the historic barn, and the emerald ridge and this was an unexpected bonus. Of course the road was there too, but not busy. The steps to the loft were described accurately, so no surprise there.. Almost a ladder rather than steps. The hideabed in the living room was unexpectedly comfortable. We will definitely stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay, the condo was exactly what we needed.
Stacy R.Dec 2015
We are regulars to Steamboat and usually stay in more affordable lodging. This was a Christmas splurge and we were satisfied. Pool and hot tubs with their views of the mountain were awesome and basically unused except by us. Walking to the gondola was super convenient. We liked being able to cook most meals in the condo. Only warning would be, 4 is definitely the max here. It is a pretty tight space even for 4 people. There's not a lot of storage for 4 skiers and all their stuff. The stairs to the loft are straight up - like a ladder, so not for anyone unsure on their feet.
