Staff was amazing and friendly. Location was perfect. Our room was very clean upon arrival and the size of our room was perfect for two.

Clean friendly staff great pillows and bed.

The room was very basic and outdated but clean enough with some extra items you wouldn’t find in a hotel room. We needed a pet friendly place to stay. The number of dogs in the building might have outnumbered the humans but they were behaved for the most part and the noise was minimal. Right on the beach but not a very close walk to anything else. Very friendly staff.

Room is nice, bright and clean! It's good for your pet. Definitely will stay here again.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Perfect location. Clean pools and hot tubs. The only thing I think would be more convenient is to have restrooms available on the floor level near the pools.
Manager response:
Hi, Jennifer! We're glad you chose to stay with us and appreciate your review. There are restrooms located on the first floor lobby adjacent to the indoor and outdoor pools. They do require guest keycard entry. Thank you!

Our room was great. The view was amazing and the lady at the front desk (Christina I believe was her name) was very nice and helpful!!!

If you're looking for pet friendly lodging at Myrtle Beach, stop! Ocean Park is a great option! Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs; the outside hot tub is amazing, even in colder weather. The staff is friendly and professional, going above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Best thing, at least for us is that most of the guests are around the same age as we are, so striking up conversations while relaxing in the hot tub is easy. You will be glad you stayed here!

Loved the room. So happy with it having a kitchenette. The view of the ocean was awesome. Nice roomy room. The staff was great planning on staying again in the near future

For the price, you cannot beat this hotel. It has an indoor and outdoor pool. 2 hot tubs, the one out side is pretty big, making it more comfortable when there are several people hanging. And you are literally STEPS to the beach! The walk down to the beach is quick and easy. The views from the balcony are amazing, and the staff is friendly. One of the downsides is that the beds were uncomfortable. Really springy and sunk it, woke up hurting. The second is they promote "great for families" however there are guest smoking weed everywhere. The people near us were smoking on their balcony, constantly, which sucked for us because we liked leaving our door open to enjoy the ocean, but then our room would smell like weed. With all the "no smoking" signs everywhere, it would have been nice if this was enforced more...especially if you are traveling with kids. The third is that they promote 100% pet friendly, but then have all these weight and breed restrictions posted at check-in. We were originally going to bring our dog, but my husband had to stay home last min, so we decided to leave her with him. Good thing because she is over 20 pounds. I have seen where people were turned away. I cannot imagine our 8 hour drive we made....and then being told we could not stay there because our dog was too heavy, when that was not listed on their site. Last, the site also promoted 2 on site restaurants, and a "water park" they did not have either of these things. All and all, this place is a great budget friendly hotel with most of what you need on a vacation, but I recommend calling ahead to confirm it has everything you need/want before booking.
Manager response:
Hi, Jessica! Thank you so much for letting us know about your visit. The property manager is working with our security partners to identify any guests not adhering to the smoking policies so it can be properly handled. Box springs and mattresses will be replaced this month. We do wish you had let us know about the pet stains on the carpet so we could have addressed them and sincerely apologize for missing those during cleaning. We hope to be able to host you again!
