This comfortable space is accented by original hardwood floors, a full bathroom on each of the two levels, a private washer/dryer for your ease and convenience, and a fully equipped kitchen with every essential. Leave your car in the provided off-street parking space, and spend balmy afternoons relaxing outside on your private patio. At night, you'll have a loft-style bedroom with a beautiful, queen-size rice bed, an 18th-century style originated by the acclaimed craftsman Thomas Elfe. This type of bed was designed to allow for better air circulation throughout the hot summer, offering four posts that have been intricately carved with images of rice and tobacco, two crops that defined Southern agriculture at the time. In the living room, you'll find a cable TV and an additional sleeper sofa as well.

My wife and I stayed here with our dog. The location was great, in a charming historical Neighbourhood with many amenities nearby. The apartment is comfortable and has a small kitchen and dining area so you can eat in when you fee like it. The sofa and bed were both comfy. This place is great for a couple or a family with small children.

The historic nature of the place was fantastic, the location was divine and close to anything and everything downtown. Would liked to have had Keurig so to not waste so much coffee. Dryer didn’t dry clothing. I loved the stay despite’s any complaints I may have had, wish it could have been longer.

This guesthouse embodies historic Charleston -- loved having the two stories to create two separate sleeping areas, each with their own bathroom. The amenities are sufficient, and the location is ideal. I was nervous about hearing sirens all night, being close to the med center, but it was nice and quiet. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

The hosts truly hosted. The management company did a great job of checking in and providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. I was blown away by how clean the home was when we arrived. We will stay here again. It was comfortable and quiet. Close to great breakfast spots Halo and Daps. Close to the Belmont and Chez Nous, which are must experience places. Great stay in Charleston. Everything is incredibly close and within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this property. The only disappointment I had is that check-out is very early and Vacasa will not accommodate late check-out, despite COVID-19 restrictions easing everywhere.

The location is a 20 minute delightful walk to King St., heart of the city. The neighborhood is picturesque and tranquil. The house is as represented. We enjoyed using the ceiling fans. There is a/c but we prefer the fans. Having two bathrooms is wonderful and the water hot. We discovered a wonderful restaurant just down the street that you should try, “Laurel”. Of course, the parking space provided is a great convenience. I highly recommend this home for a visit.

We loved this apartment due to its privacy, in the back of a long driveway, in the back of a beautiful historic mansion owned and lived in by a local artist. There's several outdoor areas to drink your morning coffee. The parking is right beside the unit which is great for those traveling by car. The 2 bathrooms, washer dryer, and netflix account made this highly convenient. There's lots of college students who live close by, and a hospital complex with a helipad so it does tend to get noisy at times, but the fans can easily drown out that noise.
